A flintlock rifle, a flintlock pistol, and a Ruger 10/22. A few pounds of powder and ball, wads, flint, etc, and as much ammunition for the 10/22 as I can possibly hold. The 10/22 is what I use to survive and eat short term, the flintlock rifle/pistol I intend to replicate. I am assuming that I know the spoken language around me when I get there, and the locals aren't immediately trying to murder this foreigner in cargo pants and flannel.
Three multiple barrels multiple breeches black powder guns and the associated tooling as well as technical literature to make more powder and ammo.
Coal, salpeter, sulfur, lead = easy to procure during medieval times.
So:
A gatling gun with a lot of heavy cases I can reload to make ammo again.
A medium sized accurate rifled canon just because. I'll ask local craftsmen to copy rifled shells to make more ammo.
A breech loading rifle with rotating multiple barrels again using solid hard thick cases so I can reload them many times and take extremely accurate shots.
Best combo for medieval warfare. Can take out leaders easily, can destroy specific parts of a wall, can mow down attack waves.
All weapons must use cased ammunition except maybe for the canon which for its part must have exceptional accuracy.
I have a question. You described unusually advanced weapons for a medieval period. Why do expect the average local bodger and blacksmith to be able to cobble that shit together? Something like a multi-barreled breech loading rifle would have been a masterwork taking years upon years with the finest craftsmen of the age....far too complicated to be duplicated at all let alone mass-produced.
>I have a question. You described unusually advanced weapons for a medieval period.
Not really. Medieval times started with firearms and ended with firearms. Grenades were already a thing in the VIIth century. Multiple rocket launchers appeared during the Xth century in China.
Yes for Europe some of these weapons may be two or three centuries early. But the knowledge was already there somewhere else in the world anyway. >Why do expect the average local bodger and blacksmith to be able to cobble that shit together?
They weren't as good as the best roman and greek late antiquity inventors and scientists, but still very good. They also had excellent ability to absorb new knowledge and reproduce it thanks to the guild system, which is particularly visible in architecture. >Something like a multi-barreled breech loading rifle would have been a masterwork taking years upon years with the finest craftsmen of the age.
Correct. But I only need them to make small easy parts. They had all the tooling needed to do that especially if I provide go/no-go gauges or related tooling. >far too complicated to be duplicated at all let alone mass-produced.
The battle of Castillon which ended the 100 years saw the use of 300 guns, sure it was late medieval times, but this proves you could get big numbers. >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Castillon >The French army was commanded by committee; Charles VII's ordnance officer Jean Bureau laid out the camp to maximize French artillery strength. In a defensive setup, Bureau's forces built an artillery park out of range from Castillon's guns. According to Desmond Seward, the park "consisted of a deep trench with a wall of earth behind it which was strengthened by tree-trunks; its most remarkable feature was the irregular, wavy line of the ditch and earthwork, which enabled the guns to enfilade any attackers". The park included up to 300 guns of various sizes
See: >https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breech-loading_swivel_gun
>Not really. Medieval times started with firearms and ended with firearms
"firearms" sure. But not the level of sophistication you described. You're doing the equivalent of asking Henry Ford to build the Bugatti Veyron because he built the model T.
>They had all the tooling needed to do that
Anon, the concept of using "tooling" to produce firearms with interchangeable parts didn't exist until the 19th century. Before then everything was done by hand. Go read The Gun and Its Development by Greener if you haven't already.
>They weren't as good as the best roman and greek late antiquity inventors and scientists, but still very good
The average one could barely make a farm tool. There absolutely were craftsmen who could make things like you described but there were very very few people with that level of skill alive.
> but this proves you could get big numbers.
Big numbers of very simple matchlocks does not translate to big numbers of gatling guns or a multi-barreled breech loading rifle. We can't make very many multi-barreled guns if we don't have very many barrels in the first place.
>Why do expect the average local bodger and blacksmith
because once you know how they're made, a local bodger and blacksmith can make them.

>because once you know how they're made, a local bodger and blacksmith can make them.
Which is clearly not true, because if you look at history weapons like anon described are very few and far between and only exist in the collections of kings. Those weapons were known historically you can find things like breech-loading rifles from the 1400's, multi-barreled weapons, and all that. They did already exist in the medieval period. They were just so complex (read: expensive, time consuming) that very few people did it. Anon isn't bringing anything new to the table with those strange designs. He's just asking his craftsmen to make a tiny number of wunderwaffen instead of making a larger number of more practical weapons, and this seems like a strange decision to me.
another thing your falsely assuming is that you would find enough high quality steel to produce those parts that wouldint be shit. Protip making an industrial furnace hot enough to produce enough air for good quality metal would need to be high up on a mountain or hundrends of slaves pushing air
Are there any decent books about putting a modern gun/military knowhow into a historical/fantasy setting? I tried reading 1632 but it's fake and gay and isekai stories generally are a pretty low quality.
Pic is obvious because it would be the easiest to make ammunition for with medieval tech.
A proper musket might be a good idea as well.
Followed by a simple .308 bolt action with a good scope. You dont need to take on a army if you can place well place shots on all the enemy commanders from the castle walls or from the back of the battlefield who are out of range of bows. Easily proving your worth to which ever leader is in charge.
Do I magically also get unlimited ammo/mags and they'll magically work reliably with little maintenance? Also do I need to actually own the guns?

AR-10
Glock 17
Flare Gun for flares and illumination
Without unlimited ammo and reliability I'd choose to bring a suppressed .45/.50 PCP air rifle with everything else needed to keep it running, (manual air pump, bullet molds, other spare parts). Lead and lubricating oil of some kind shouldn't be too hard to find and air is air. It won't be modern machine oil but it'll keep it running.
And then maybe some black powder stuff, although I don't think I've developed the skills to make bp. I'd probably just leave those. Three guns might be a bit much actually. I'm not hauling all that shit, not unless you give me an ATV too.
Also I'd totally be down with trading two of my three guns for general camping supplies and a wagon to carry it all.
>I'd choose to bring a suppressed .45/.50 PCP air rifle with everything else needed to keep it running, (manual air pump >STOP ATTACKING ME I HAVE TO PUMP MY GUN 400 TIMES BEFORE I CAN SHOOT YOU AGAIN!!
I have a PCP compressor and it still takes 10 minutes to fill my .22 tank.
A good flintlock, a nugget, and an AK. Flintlocks could be figured out by the inventors and engineers of the time allowing whoever I side with to be well armed. Nuggets can use cartridges loaded with black powder just fine and when smokeless shows up it won't be an issue. They're also pretty simple guns. The AK would be mine and mine alone.
If they aren't allowed to or can't reproduce my weapons and ammo for whatever reason then a 10/22, M77 MkII in .30-06 with a harris bipod and a 3x-9x Leupold scope, and an AR in 5.56. Hopefully the ammo supply magically refills every so often otherwise it won't be long before ammo runs out even if you're conserving. Reason I'd switch to the AR over the AK is weight. Going to be carrying 3 guns instead of offloading one basically immediately. 40 rounds of 7.62x39 is heavier than 40 rounds of 5.56x45. The 10/22 will be great for small game while the M77 is great for things like deer, horses, and the poor bastards riding them. AR is ideal for informing a mob they shouldn't be bothering you.
YOOOOO, I haven't thought about that book in AGES! I got it as a gift from a relative at the beginning of high school and remember enjoying it along with World War Z. I should re-read it one of these days.

37mm Hotchkiss revolving cannon - simple BP projos, straightwall cases, low pressure, easily cut gearing for any clockmaker - good for sweeping a massed horde of infantry or cavalry

Beretta 92fs
Traditions Hawken Flintlock Rifle
The flintlock is relatively easy to keep fed without modern technology and would be more of a every day rifle, the other two are for those situations where shits gone south and I'm in desperate need of more firepower, VZ because it's the gun I've put the most rounds through
Bolt gun from the turn of the century for decent range and mag-capacity without being OP, plus sexy sword bayonet to get in proper shonen fights.
Maverick 88 for hunting, also quoting Army of Darkness, even though it isn't the right scattergun technically speaking.
Obrez for brush removal.
1 12 gauge pump action shotgun
Realistically maintaining ammo supply in the long term is going to be difficult. Manufacturing spitzer bullets and smokeless powder would likely be outside of my abilities. This means that rounded bullets, like a shotgun slug, and manually operated firearms (as black powder wouldn't jam them) would be desirable. Furthermore, the smoothbore shotgun barrel would likely be easier to replace if need be.
A generic ar likely would be useful for emergencies
Some 308-3006, other full power bolt action would be useful due to its range, as it could be extremely demoralizing to the enemy if their leader dies extremely far away from any visible danger
Definitely some kind of blackpowder breechloader with paper cartridges for one slot. Something you can keep in repair and make more ammo for with medieval-level tools.
>Three four-barrel 25mm nordenfelt volley guns or five-barrel rifle caliber ones if only small arms allowed
Saw them apart for twelve simple breech loading light artillery guns that won't be obsolete for 400 years.
If there were even more leeway in fake guns would go for a larger caliber polygonally rifled modern steel version with a de bange style lead obturating ring so it could seal the breech without brass cartridges, basically minmax as many artillery guns as possible that will need minimal advancement to keep functioning.
>mosin nagant
So that I can show this technology in a way that is not too complicated. People sometimes think that everyone during the medieval ages were like cavemen that would just kill you with clubs but that’s moronic. If you can provide a valuable service such as education in something the crown likes you’d be able to get a cozy spot. They had a pretty good idea of how cannons work and wouldn’t see the mosin as some dark magic shit. >MP40

This made me think of Guns of the South.
>Time travelers bring AK's to the Confederates
>This is all i need to tell you but hot damn it was a fun read.
YOOOOO, I haven't thought about that book in AGES! I got it as a gift from a relative at the beginning of high school and remember enjoying it along with World War Z. I should re-read it one of these days.
I will bring a trio of Mark 7 naval rifles.
>you're isekai'd into a generic european medieval world
>you get to bring three firearms with you
BFG from Doom
Kantrael MG Defender Pattern Service Laspistol and M36 Kantrael Pattern Lasgun From 40k
If I'm already living in a fictional scenario I'm bringing fictional shit I want to use
Infinite ammo too, smart anon
But energy weapons like flashlights are not actually firearms. Blaster rifles wouldn't fit either.
I cant believe that shit got an anime
Although her other work got an anime too so its not too big of a surprise
do we have unlimited ammo?
if we do:
Barret Model 82A1 with scope
HK 416
HK VP9 expert.
If we can take fictional weapons I'd probably take 3 from Cyberpunk 2077. Probably the Nue, Pulsar, and Nekomata.
This show finally got adapted? I remember reading this like 5 years ago with the girl learning combat training so she could maximize her effectiveness in medieval israeliteery.
Literally doesn't matter what firearms i bring as it's doesn't say i will get ammo with them.
a PKM
I choose to trade the other two weapons for more ammunition.
Blunderbuss
Two flintlock pistols
Why bring firearms when you can bring your football homies?
Am homie-less 🙁
>homie-less
>obsessed with guns
>obsessed with anime
>distrust of government
>undersexed
So you're the guy they'll convince to shoot up a place to get pistol braces banned.
I was thinking more along the lines of remote-controlled improvised fuel-air mortars to cause the most damage to black gatherings, but true, I feel like they'd offer flawless gender conversion therapy and a ticket to Japan/South Korea and I'd be sold.
PPS-43 - if 1940s russian industry can make it, a medieval blacksmith will be fine
.45-70 Sharps - for longer range but still mechanically simple and can cope with BP fouling and easily made cases - if that's still too hard, convert it feed a breechloading paper-case round with minie ball and a percussion cap in a flat disc as the 'rim' with no cartridge walls
37mm Hotchkiss revolving cannon - simple BP projos, straightwall cases, low pressure, easily cut gearing for any clockmaker - good for sweeping a massed horde of infantry or cavalry
AR with lots of ammo.
Flint lock rifle, bc they would probably be able to make copies.
If I can bring caps, then uberti dragoon clone. If not then big bore airgun to invent the Giradoni a bit earlier
>you're isekai'd into a generic european medieval world
What the frick is isekai supposed to mean in this context?
Going by the definition of the word, you said "you're different worlded into a generic european medieval world"
Did you mean to say "transported" instead of "isekai" you jap chink asiatic motherfricker?
Because the question is written to be contextualized by a genre within anime/manga/light-novels. Of you don't like it you can frick off to weekendgunnit, the highroad, or whatever other shithole board that's more to your liking. b***hing about anime on /k/ is like a mudslime rapefugee moving to Europe and then complaining that pork is sold at their local Aldi.
>Bitching about anime on /k/ is like a mudslime rapefugee moving to Europe and then complaining that pork is sold at their local Aldi.
Or maybe it just sounds like something a fricking moronic weeaboo would say.
Grow the frick up.
>Grow the frick up
You're the one coming to this board, stamping your feet like a petulant toddler and demanding that were revise our culture and lexicon to conform to your sensibilities. The thread literally has an anime screenshot, so you knew what it would be about before you even clicked. You could have just as easily scrolled down and found a different thread, but instead made the decision to post on this one just to whinge about anime jargon on a messageboard that was made for discussing anime from its very beginning. You don't belong her. Go somewhere else you Hispanic, chink, troony, moron, homosexual, c**t, Black personisraelite
M3 SMG because it's easy to maintain
AK with a grenade launcher mount
Accuracy International Arctic Warfare Magnum
All have infinite ammo btw
Sten gun Mk VI
Walther PP with 6x scope
M14 Rifle
a entirely .357 mag based loadout, because it being based on the .38 spl means it can be loaded with black powder
assuming I'd have to carry everything on me and I'd have to sustain myself for as long as possible
all the following should fit in an Alice pack and be light weight enough for most people to carry
>Chiappa Alaskan take down lever action in .357, throw on an scope and suppressor because why not
>some kind of full size .357 revolver, I'm not familiar with revolvers so dealer's choice, holster and speedloaders or moon clips
>snub nose .357 LCR and iwb holster, last line of defense, keep concealed always
>lee reloading hand press with .357 dies, if space/weight permits bring a progressive press instead
>a powder measure for blackpowder .38 spl loads, reloading literature
>.38 spl bullet cast, lead and grease should be easy to procure
>500 rds .357, keep ~200 in the box and the 300 should be enough to last you until you establish yourself
>as much primer as you can carry, their light and small so carrying a couple thousand shouldn't be an issue
>dump pouch for brass collecting
this is the bare minimum you'll need to sustain yourself for the longest possible time
more ammo would be preferable, weight permitting
get established as a ranger or a mage, procure or make blackpowder and lead for bullets and start reloading
get elf pussy
There's literally only one right answer and none of you got it
Don't forget your copies of the fifth edition of Steam Plant Operation by Woodruff et al. and Chemistry 101 in the trunk of your beige Delta 88.
I have a complete encyclopedia Britannica and books from
1)BS in chemistry
2)a BS/MS in materials engineering
3) recreational pyrotechnic hemsitry books like Davis's chemistry of powder and explosives.
The most important thing would probably be getting people thinking and measuring scientifically.
>The most important thing would probably be getting people thinking and measuring scientifically.
Should be doable as long as you don't get Isekai'd into modern day america
Scar 16
Scar 17
Scar 20
A SCAR devotee, I see.
Do I get unlimited ammo... if not I take flintlocks and reverse engineer.
Mk 19 for hunting
Davy Crockett for self defense
M65 for castle defense
Assuming ammo hacks?
>16” ar 10
>300 blk 10”
>Glock 17
If I don’t have to already own them?
Probably replace the 300blk with some kind of belt fed gun, maybe replac the Glock too
>belt fed 50bmg and maybe one of those meme Gatling guns in 556
Assuming infinite ammo isn't a thing
VZ-58
I'll come with you, if you have gp11. Might as well bring my beryl and sig p226 too.
Cool. I've never had a battlebuddy before.
Kind of depends on how much ammo I get to take
some 12ga double barrel for combat
a smoothbore flintlock to sell it
a rpg7 for status
M2, M4 and 1911
from the middle ages to mars
here you go /k
Frick off to PrepHole you subhuman troons.
Definitely some kind of blackpowder breechloader with paper cartridges for one slot. Something you can keep in repair and make more ammo for with medieval-level tools.
I wouldnt care about firearms as I would be raping and impregnating every girl I could.
But probably an AR10, a G19, and a Barrett in case dragons exist
>AR-10 .308
>Beretta M9A4
>Ruger Mk IV for having fun with the locals (assuming they're friendly)
i'd rather have a M113 and a Squad of Guys.
How about an ACAV on the back of an M35?
>MP40
Personal defence from people trying to jump me for my clothes. Also a good introduction to simple open bolt submachineguns.
>Generic AK
A good amount of information that would help greatly with the development of autoloaders though none would probably ever be built in my lifetime.
Oh, and of course I’d show them how to make and stabilize nitrocellulose (cordite).
Springfield model 1863
Springfield model 1892-99
M1 Garand
Now I shotgun firearms technology forward
What anime is this?
Saving 80,000 Gold in Another World for My Retirement.
Chick gets the power to jump between worlds and decides to hire some mercenaries to give her weapons and training so she can sell toilets in fantasy land.
That better not be as israeli as it sounds.
That makes me angry if true.
I thought she was gonna go save like little orphans from a warlord or something and wanted to get strapped up.
She has saved a little girl in the woods from wolves. Selling stuff was her stated plan from the first 2 episodes so we'll have to see how the rest of it goes.
>all trade and commerce is da j00z
Meds, now
No I watched the two eps just now.
Its an extraordinarily israeli plan. To rape a new world of its gold while importing things that will upset the order of the civilization.
Also her weapon selections were ultimately stupid. Three seperate 9mm handguns. Dumb. Super dumb.
I hope she gets raped by Barbarians in ep3
Okay, if the anon you initially replied to is serious, how exactly is selling toilets going to upset a civilization?
