Trips of truth
Never speak to glowies, let your lawyer do the bidding.
If you’re not doing this you don’t deserve your gun back. My actual HD gun is a 9in barrel AR 9 unregistered. When the cops ask what I used I’ll hand them my dirty hipoint. I really don’t think my bumpkin town sherif is going to be too curios about what Ta’quella was actually shot with.
>police check for fresh powder residue
It’s over
This isn't CSI, retard. Most police departments don't even have the ability to get fingerprints from a crime scene.
About the most they will have are portable fingerprint scanners.
"Dusting and Lifting" has been pretty much dead at the small department level for a long time, and even where the department has a dedicated crime lab, it's not used very often.
The powder residue checks are easily set off by common household chemicals, and are usually only used in concert with other more substantial evidence. Like video.
Thank God I have TWO LTT Berettas
Mossberg 88 or a trade-in Glock 19.
You own 0.
Not him but two LTTs isnt that expensive
(tell me you aren't in a loving relationship without telling me you aren't in a loving relationship)
Lick nuts
Embarrassing pic. Nice gun.
Theyre pretty expensive imo. Especially for what they are. I do however think theyre worth every penny.
92 is the only duty gun I'd say is OOB a decent match gun. Yes glocks shoot bullets too but the 92 is just way more refined and nice to shoot and the weight makes being a retard with it way harder than polymer striker guns.
>he hasn’t experienced the bliss that is the LTT trigger bar + match hammer
It completely removes the take up in SA, no more sloppy floppy take up, 2mm of travel just like a 1911
I know that feeling, tempted to do the same job on a compact.
Be careful, it might make you dislike the other guns in your collection if you do
The PX4 series use the same hammers as the 92 so you can put the match hammer and LTT’s trigger bar on them too.
I may need to explore this. My first gun was a ruger mkiv tactical and i talked to a few people about volquartsen upgrades and it always boiled down to "what about the pistols performance dont you like"
I never had a good answer. Crisp clean break and short reset. I wanted to upgrade just because 'its there' and its what everyone else was doing. Like
said my 92A1 is a great shooter and i cant fathom dropping 300$ on some upgrades making it feel like a completely different gun. On the other hand, ive never shot anything with langdon or wilson upgrades. Be straight with me anon, is the juice worth the squeeze?
You can turn your 92 into a certified race gun feeling pistol for about 120 bucks. Really all you need is the Langdon trigger bar and Beretta match hammer.
The first 70 bucks for the LTT trigger bar is all you “need” to spend. This makes the trigger reset as short as possible, putting the trigger right where the firing pin block starts. Beretta now makes a short reset trigger bar too, but the extra bit of the LTT bar is that it reduces trigger over travel, functionally making the reset shorter since you don’t pull the trigger back as far. The rest of the trigger job (100 dollars) (TJIAB - trigger job in a bag) is smoothness. Not super necessary and if you’re budget minded you can do it yourself following a guide. A well broken in trigger would have already smoothed most of the surfaces.
The match hammer is 45 bucks, puts the SA trigger right at reset, right before the firing pin block. My first gun was a DA/SA so removing SA take up isn’t an issue, the match hammer isn’t really necessary as it just removes the slop. It does make me giddy at how fucking short the trigger travel is on a DA/SA. Worth it I guess. One configuration I had with TJIAB + match hammer bought separately + 12 pound spring was that my SA pull was 2.5 pounds and my DA was 6. A hair trigger, I went to a heavier hammer spring and it’s back up to 3.5 and feels crisper.
The benefit of TJIAB is that you can get the match hammer for an extra 10-25 dollars instead of 45 if you buy it separately. But just a trigger bar and match hammer would only run you 125 bucks or so instead of a 180-230. The NP3 finish he offers makes things even smoother and also shiny.
https://langdontactical.com/optimized-performance-trigger-bar/
Thats pretty reasonable, price wise. Gimme the skinny, are there any drawbacks here? Ive been a gun owner for about 10 years, done some minor stuff like rust bluing and stock repair. I got a beat to shit 995 with good rifling fixed up in a high tower stock and its a lot of fun but thats the extent of my skills and i really know next to nothing about guns. Idk, are there any issues with these upgrades were talking about? Accidental trigger pulls on recoil leading to holes in ceilings due to the short reset? Could you even call that a flaw or is that just user error?
I did run into a situation where my combo of frame + trigger bar + match hammer + hammer spring made a 1/10 DA pulls not drop the hammer. I believe it was the length of the hammer spring (wolf 18 pound) and the over travel reduction of the LTT bar preventing it. Rare case of tolerance stacking, whenever you do anything you must test the gun for function afterwards. That’s unrelated since the LTT springs are top notch chrome silicon springs that last longer than steel. But really no downside other than the SA pull being really short and lighter, with that 2.5 pound hammer it made me nervous if I ever had to run while carrying it hammer back, so I made it heavier.
I'd try a langdon hammer spring, they've worked flawlessly in similar builds of my own.
It’s the same thing as the Wilson combat spring but I think he offers lighter spring weights (12 is the lowest a 92 can go)
Uh as someone who has a lot of retarded ideas and money to spend, I did a lot of the LTT an WC upgrades on my 92S because reasons. With new springs, a match hammer, LT trigger bar, an improved guide rod, locking block, and the barrel I borrowed off of a newer 92, along with a little trigger work, that 92S felt way better than my stock M9A1 or 92FS Inox. Because I'm again a huge retard, I am now looking at trying to adapt that 400 dollar Langston RDO slide to the 92S, since I'm tired of the shitty sights.
Fucking autocorrect changed Langdon to Langston
Not true at all no matter how much you won't admit you're lying. I have two LTTs. One from Langdon with all the bells and whistles in NP3 and the trigger job by him. And one where I bought the trigger job in a bag kit with the elite hammer, and it definitely has way more take up than you claim. Not that it fucking matters if you shoot in USPSA, you just smash through the trigger regardless
Match hammer anon. Match hammer.
https://langdontactical.com/beretta-92-match-hammer/
>This upgrade reduces pre-travel in single action to less than 2MM of travel - combined with our Optimized Performance Trigger Bar, your single action pull & reset will be short, smooth, and fast!
>The Match Hammer MUST be used with either the LTT Optimized Performance Trigger Bar OR the Beretta Extreme S Trigger Bar AND the Match Hammer MUST also be installed either by LTT or another qualified gunsmith.
He does not sell any guns with the match hammer pre installed, I believe the reason is the reduction in pre travel may cause the firing pin block to be more easily defeated in a drop. Not like you’re dropping this thing with the hammer cocked all the time so I have like 6 match hammers installed and haven’t shot my self yet
Copy that, I'm retarded. I have the elite hammer and got confused.
No problem, I just bought a fully tricked out PX4 that I’ll immediately have to swap the hammer to a match when I receive it. When you select all the options you don’t get the top of the line, probably for liability reasons. If you ever have this problem where you have a pile of elite hammers with one match hammer in it, you can put the match hammer on top of the elite II hammer to tell the difference, the match hammer has a different profile where it interfaces with the sear/trigger bar, IIRC it sticks out further.
Not all of us married gold diggers. My wife likes that I enjoy my hobby because she knows it makes me happy and is one of my few passions.

Saltiest poorfag loser who thinks everyone else is in the same shit life he's in lolololol. On another note, holy smokes the hive mind of PrepHole, I also have two LTTs. That's three anons (unless one of you is samefagging) with multiple LTTs.
Those slides on the Elite II and the 92x have always looked so fucking bad to me. It looks like they just forgot/stopped milling the slide half way through. It's not even or smooth, it just looks so fucking bad to me bros, I have no idea why they chose to include that
I love Brigadier slides. They’re beautiful
Extra material for shooting .40s&w is what i remember
> No beat up spaghetti cop 92S or FDE M9A3/4
Your 92 collection is incomplete
what compels a man to put those fucking awful finger grooves on their guns?
Finger grooves are Kino
Great choice of weeb, but I think the only time I've ever enjoyed finger grooves has been on the p30/vp9 pistols
I just have the perfect handsize for hogue's fingergrooves, I feel that my hand is alot more locked in. I like rubber grips too. If I look at it scientifically the grooves add more surface area to the actual gripping portion of my hand.
I can see why people hate them if they have a unmatched handsize
I got an LTT for $900. It's not impressive. My buddy who shoots IDPA with a tricked out one went and cloned it "as a backup for matches where I travel far". He makes less than me, and I make dogshit.
Its way cheaper just to buy and polish the LTT trigger bar/oem match hammer
Yeah but the beretta factory optics mount is dogshit, fewer screws, very small screws, in the thinnest parts of the slide, with no dovetail angle to take stress off of the screws. the LTT is worth paying for if you want to put an optic on it. If you just want irons though, then yes you are objectively correct.
please tell me you occasionally pretend to shoot these in your house dual wielding.
If you like a gun enough to worry about this, it's insane not to have two, even if it costs 3k. If you can't afford two, you can't afford the gun IMO, guns do break and if you train as much as you should you can't sit around waiting for a gunsmith to get to it.
A blunderbuss I packed with ball bearings, screws and legos
You do realize that the cost of the firearm is going to be easily dwarfed by the cost of the legal fees as you killed a democrat’s scared cow
This. Choose the most reliable gun you’re most skilled with. A few thousand is nothing in the larger picture
Law Shield. Get it already.
It kinda would suck to have it confiscated but I’ll get a replacement
Unless you get charged with murder, they give it back, Anon.
They destroy them sometimes. I wonder if it's just up to how much the judge hates free Americans or if it has to do of how much publicity the case gets. They wreck Rittenhouse AR and think it was because (dirr he might sell it for big bucks like Zimmerman) taking no note that the publicity the left caused made the rifle worth much more.
Any anon know why this is ?
Pic related is what I'm selling my performance center sheild for fuck loosing my nice guns
The Rittenhouse rifle was destroyed because there was some discrepancy about whether it was a straw purchase or something along those lines. Stop being dumb
So legend has it
What jurisdiction was the rifle destroyed in? Where it was bought or where the incident occurred? Who had final say is what I'm asking I guess.
Kyle didn't fight to keep it. Just Google it gay.
Here in AZ they have to sell them.
I used to live in Phoenix, had to chase off some drunk wetback who wanted my car in Goodyear, they tried "seizing" my pistol.
One letter from an attorney, and they were shitting themselves trying to get me to come pick it up.
I'm of the belief that they are hoping that when they seize your piece, that you will not lawyer up, because a lot of times, those guns are not destroyed or sold.
They go into an officer's collection.
How much did that letter cost you?
The equivalent of about $250.00 in labor. I'd done some work on the guy's WW2 MB, and he owed me for the repairs.
The piece was well worth the exchange.
Beats losing a gun, I suppose. Still lame you have to go through the process.
Agreed.
In contrast the Coconino county Sheriff mistook one of my pistols for "reported stolen" during a traffic stop (I was speeding), and had it back to me within a week, with a rather nice letter of apology.
Where do you get .38/200 ammo? Also Japanese newspapers?
>Japanese newspapers?
Bottles of sake often come wrapped in the nippon news.
My dangalang. I’m the tallywhacker terror. I’m the rape rapscallion. The sultan of sexual assault. The burglar of booty. The master of molestation. The villain of violation. The dean of despoliation. The ravishing ravager.
>implying I'm going to waste ammo on homo africanus
club it is
>or fully geared $3000 DD AR-15 ?
Oh no, I guess I'll just have to pick up a couple of OT shifts.
I'll gladly spend an extra 16 hours at work if that's the cost of keeping myself and my family safe.
I like calculating the price of thing to the time it takes a be payed that much to.
What do you do? I'm gonna guess oil extraction or some other petrochem adjacent industry.
If I have to use my gun in a life and death situation I’m just going to be glad I’m alive. I’m not going to be worried over 1000$ like some poor
This... If my $5k AR-15 saved my life and was in an evidence locker, I would be a little sad but mainly laugh it off with my buddies as part of the story of how I knocked off a lowlife who broke into my house at 3am.
It would suck if it was a 100 year old lugar or historic gun.
You are far more likely to experience heart disease from inactivity and obesity than an armed home invasion
Maybe instead of getting more guns you should get a gym membership
eurofag here.
this is what i carry.
bullshit. Zimmerman got his gun back, Rittenhouse didn't only because he asked it be destroyed. Always have multiple guns though. If I lose my Glock 17 for a few months, I'll only have my USP45 on my bedside table, how horrible.
Those were both very high profile cases. Your local pd isn't going to care about a random off case
Only guy I know who killed someone in self defense kept his gun. Didn't even get it back, because they never took it, and this was in a liberal city.
You god damn retards who keep spouting ignorant shit without even knowing procedures are a blight on the internet because you keep shouting your uneducated opinion at such a volume that other people without a clue get impressed by it.
Evidence does not get kept by the police, it gets kept by the courts, if you want any evidence back you have to file for it at your state attorney office and if there won't be a courtcase you will always get your property back, you just need to fucking ask for it.
yeah
>you will always get your property back,
Depends wildly on state and even county. For example in WA they have removed the legal liability to store a confiscated firearm after 30 days, at which point they may legally destroy it. This is very common and is probably in place in your state and you don't realize it. It was sold to a variety of state legislatures through Bloombergs yearly submit these bills to your legislature about 5 or so years back. Important to note this is not forced procedure, it's the legal right to do it and the evidence holder may act as they see fit. That being said a SD gun will be necessary evidence for a trial so it should not be destoryed as doing so may destroy evidence.
Which is exactly why you’ll get it back
>guys I will totaly zimmerman/rittenhouse my invading nig and be famous and praised and drowned in pussy
Whatever I'm most comfortable and trained with. Doesn't matter if it's a range queen with tons of accessories. My and my hypothetical family's lives are worth more than the couple grand spent on a tool.
This. If I live long enough to complain about it, then it served its purpose.
California is taking over the entire country. We might as well be living there.
>Includes 54g Added Sugars 108%
I'd be more worried about diabeetus than a home invasion if I were you.
The government has to file a motion for forfeiture if they want to keep your stuff. They can't legally take your property without the benefit of due process.
>t. knower
Its only 230 cals of sugar and that's my only vice besides some potato chips with some of my meals. Otherwise I'm eating grilled chicken and beef based meals.
They can take it but they cannot keep it if they do not have a reason.
>They can't legally take your property without the benefit of due process.
Apparently you don't know shit, it's called civil asset forfeiture and due process or the Constitution doesn't even factor in because they can take what they want and they don't have to charge you with a single thing because they charge the stuff they take. Civil asset forfeiture is a growth industry, they already take BILLIONS every year with the average seizure being $1300 and there's no end in sight.
That’s only if you’re using it to commit a crime you fucking moron
> only if you’re using it to commit a crime
According to the cops, who aren’t holding a trial for you, they’re making a call in the field. As the “fucking moron” said, having cops take your shit arbitrarily somewhat violates due process.
The following has happened multiple times:
>Guy gets pulled over
>Cops notices large amount of cash in car
>Detains guy under suspiscion of drug dealing
>Guy released next day because no evidence
>”What happened to my money?”
>”LOL civil forfeiture, it’s ours now, fuck you.”
>Legal battle ensues, more often than not the victim is told by the court that what happened is perfectly legal.
Okay, post example of police taking money and courts allowing them to keep it.
With pleasure, but you’re moving the goalpost. Even if they do get the money back after taking the PD to court it’s still a violation of due process. The PD is counting on you not having the money to take them to court after they took it.

>The PD is counting on you not having the money to take them to court after they took it.
Agreed, this is S.O.P. in a lot of departments. Right, Wrong or otherwise, Asset Forfeiture is a big part of a lot of department's budget.
You really are a fucking moron, you have no idea how this shit works. When the average seizure is $1300 we aren't talking about Pablo Escobar here. Read the fucking law moron, there is no requirement for a crime to be committed. Why do you think it's $1300, could it be because that's about the perfect amount that it would cost a person more to sue to get it back that it's worth?
https://www.forbes.com/sites/instituteforjustice/2023/01/10/veterans-case-to-hold-officers-responsible-for-robbing-his-savings-can-finally-move-forward/
I have no qualms in an expensive gun being tied up for a time, if it served the purpose. The only guns I won't are sentimental or super collectible.
See the problem here OP ? Shitposters don't own guns.
pretty much all HD guns are boring, so why would I care about going without it? also who cares how much it cost, it saved my life. no matter what, seems like a good investment.
now them stealing my can would piss me off, because those take forever to replace.
>home defense
i lose a $450 sub2k or ~$700 into a g19. both are easily replaced with a 50h week.
>carry
p365. don't remember how much it cost but it's easily replaced, but honestly i would probably go for something different after having to use it defensively.
you shouldn't be staging historical firearms or heirlooms as defensive weapons. your high-dollar firearms should be range toys UNLESS you live in south africa or some shit in which case yeah, bring the best you have to the fight.
lastly: if you keep a 12ga by your bedside, that is probably the best weapon you could possibly choose unless you have a huge house to move through with tiny doors that requires a handgun. and the whole "oh no i used the $200 gun not the $1500 gun haha" shit will get you locked the fuck up, because if you're in a defensive case they WILL check every gun of the utilized cartridge if it means locking up a racist evil gun owner on a technicality
Ok officer but you better give it back as soon as possible
They’re legal in dog years right?
>Do you pick naked $150 beat up Mossberg 88 or fully geared $3000 DD AR-15 ?
Fully geared $3000 DD AR-15, there's a reason I have spares.
>He doesn't plan on shitposting an $8,000 SR-15 SBR setup in an evidence bag for the self defense clout
LMAO at reddit thinking they belong here.
Does everyone live in fucking California or something or is this thread just full of bait and noguns?
Bait and noguns. Rants about "I dont give a shit losing a $4500 AR" are pure LARP.
>not having spares
lel
How poor are you? 4500 barely replaces a totaled vehicle after insurance.
Gap coverage. Also ~50% of ameticans are living hand to mouth.
Im jelly though what do you do for a living anon?
poorfag
>just full of bait and noguns?
Yes
The intruder I shoot is not going to care whether he's getting 200 or 2000 dollars worth of quick delivery lead, and neither will I as long as it works. Whatever you lack in over and above craftsmanship (and marketing) you can make up for in good ammunition.
I don't need a gun
I have knives but they're tools, not weapons
I command enough respect to prevent theft and live in a like minded community
>I command enough respect
Go ask gigga bro and his crew about how much they respect you. You're not very likely to get robbed by your own neighbors. They come from out of town and scout your quiet little community. Enjoy bringing a knife to a gun fight.
Sounds like somebody needs to be introduced to Diversity™
OP here, not a single godamn real answer, just baits and gays flexing like idiots. I was just asking if you guys rather use cheapos for self défense or your maxxed high value guns instead. Nothing to hard to comprehend.
I will use my 10mm Auto Witness Hunter
imagine being a witness to a shooting and the guy used a gun called a witness hunter
Imagine the face of your defense lawyer when he hears what firearm you used
I'd rather use my handgun with a can because I can't buy tinnitus repair. You're just a broke bitch coping.
What do you expect to hear? Depending on one's economic situation and particular needs you'll get a different answer. I have a cheap'o PCC next to my bed for two reasons. If someone breaks in while I'm gone and it gets stolen it's no biggie, and if I shoot a niggie with it and the cops take it into evidence it's also no biggie, niggie. For my CCW it depends, if I feel like I'm gonna take a trip down Martin Luther King Blvd I'll take my Elite LTT, if I'm running to the corner market I'm using my $450 J-frame
A 36 pounder naval gun loaded with forks. I want to see the pigs both have to clean up that God forsaken mess while also having to move a 3 ton near permanent home fixture of a weapon for evidence. Just fuck all of us in this scenario.
this is the way of a mature and sensible adult 11/10 shine on you crazy schizo
I own a California-legal AR without pistol grip, as that is what the founding fathers would've wanted. Four ATF officers enter my lawn at the dead of day, ringing my doorbell just above the "DON'T STEP ON ME" sticker.
"Thank you for your service!" as i grab my red maga hat and my gun registration papers. First agent stamps a golfball sized hole in the first paper, getting my AR denied on the spot.
Draw my pistol papers on the second agent, miss them already because i know everything not smoothbore is gonna get confiscated.
I have to resort to the 1700's cannon on top of the stairs and cling on to it, but it gets taken too for being a destructive device. "tally ho lads!" i say tearily as i see the agents leave with their new range toys. But if it saves just one life, that would the founding fathers also want.
If you just bought a few dozen puppies you might have time to shoot back.
This gay shill is insane. Brown or just a european?
I’d pick the gun I chose for home defense that gives me the most advantage.
If it’s my 2,000 AR that’s fine.
I mean, even assuming I lose it permanently, I’d just replace it and use one of my other guns for the time being. And I’m a poorfag. The point of the gun is to be used. It’s like someone complaining that he wouldn’t use his ceramic plates because they’d be broken after and opt for steal because it’s cheaper and it’ll last after getting shot, spall and all.
Why can’t he be both?
That's due to the fact that you're a man and not a man child collector who treats his guns like dolled up barbie toys. morons got Tarkov gear fear as if they have infinite lives to take into a raid.
>That's due to the fact that you're a man and not a man child collector who treats his guns like dolled up barbie toys
So true. I get it if it’s a clone or antique or something but bros will be like “here’s my fighting rifle, I’ve had it for 3 years and it’s the best gun ever” and it’ll have an untouched paint job and a clean brass deflector.
WHY LET THE POLICE STEAL YOUR SELF DEFENSE GUN LOL
fuck you moron
Isn't the fuddlore around this more that if you kill someone with a super Gucci firearm that's been tricked out, that you're more likely to potentially catch charges or be civilly liable? The CC and HD instructors as well as every range fudd claim that a tricked out gun means "you were looking to shoot someone and went out of your way" in comparison to something stock, especially if it's wooden furniture.
I’ve asked a few boomers about this and none of them have any actual facts for it.
I just wanted to know where these supposed things happened, but no one can give me an example.
>do you know someone this happened to?
>no
>do you know someone who knows someone this happened to?
>no
>have you seen a case online or on the news where this happened?
>no
And I’ve seen plenty of people get off while having le scary black gun. I don’t doubt that some juries will do this, but it doesn’t seem to be the epidemic that this is made out to be.
This is complete bullshit and also the reason i use a mossberg 500 with wood furniture as my bedside gun. Id rather be tried by 9 than carried by 6 but im not going to be the reason whatever DA and local legislation wants more gun control.
The only gun that this is true for is an AR-15 and its almost entirely if you're found guilty. Basically ARs = not the best self defense weapon for normies so if you're not seen as innocent you may get a higher charge than using a shotgun or handgun.
I heard that if you HD with one those shadow system glock clones, the company will send you a free replacement. Any truth to that?
Is your life worth $200 or $2000? If I live I don't care when it gets back to me, it served it's purpose and I have more to take its place.
>shoot bad guy with my M9A1
>hand the pigs my Taurus PT111 G2
>Anon could you come by to the police station tomorrow afternoon?
Sure what’s up?
Anon we're having a BBQ for everyone who had a HD incident in the past quarter, just don't tell the DA about it. see you soon!
My P7M8. One of them, anyway.
Why do you think I own a Canik TP9SF?
poverty.
Reliable and disposable, dummy.
>t. poor
I'm not a moron, so I don't have multiple morons ever trying to break into my home. One, reliable table side handgun is enough for a random crackhead. If it's more than that, you think I don't have more options? What country are you even in?
>Your defense firearm of choice will be kept by the police
Keep a cheap one of the same chambering on hand to give them.
what happens if I huck it really hard into the attic immediately after
Maverick 88s are based and that's what have anyway.
>shitty hipoint
Lcr but it'll do.
The mossy because they'll use the kitted out AR as evidence of premeditation if I use it.
>use gun I like
>tell cops I used gun I didn't like
Not like they're gonna do advanced ballistic forensics on a clear cut case of me calling the cops to pick up another darkie for the dead moron storage.
I cannot tell if you are being serious or sarcastic. I live in a purple state and it could honestly go either way out here.
the SOLGW because their warranty includes evidence guns. If you use it in self defense and its taken for evidence they'll replace it free of charge.
Probably either a Kel-tec P3AT ($150) or an HK P2000SK ($400)
I like them both but they're not really expensive. (P2000SK was surprisingly inexpensive, in fact)
That is a pretty good deal for the hk, whered you get it anon?
How much money is your life worth, anon?
Ross Mk III
I’ll re-assemble the bolt before the cops arrive. When one of those fuckers takes my rifle out to the range for shits and giggles, it’ll be his last day on the force.
Some of the cops I've known were so fucking stupid, they would be dropping .34-40 Krag or .303 Savage in the thing.
The vast majority of police I've met and dealt with working in the gun industry are incredibly firearms ignorant, and usually far more dangerous around guns than your average recreational shooter.
>first scenario
DD AR. I have know idea what threat I am dealing with so I would want the better weapon, because if I’m dead because of an inadequate weapon a few thousand dollars don’t matter much.
>second scenario
The threat is armed likely only with a knife and even if he has a gun I’d probably be able to draw first. I’d have enough confidence in the Hi-Point to sacrifice it the the police (agents of the demiurge) instead of the Beretta
>he doesn't have three of the same gun
Do they not give it back at all? Isn't that property stealing?
Yes they give it back. The thread is full of people who have no clue what they’re talking about and no actual experience with evidence.
They can keep my plastic gun that looks like all the others.
0 fucks given
Losing your best gun would suck. Having a 0.1% higher chance of dying would suck a lot more.
Just going to pick up the next in line and carry on.
Obviously it's better to lose a cheap gun than an expensive one.
You WILL be getting it back unless you're convicted of any charges brought against you, but the police are under no obligation to return your firearms in good condition.
Also, you have to consider a few other things, such as
>will the prosecution question your choice of caliber and ammunition? (yes)
>will the prosecution pursue an angle of suggesting your rare/valuable firearm is strange and unnecessary? (yes)
>will the prosecution paint you as an extremist if your firearm has any aftermarket changes made to it? (yes)

>You'll never get your gun back
>Just lie to the cops about what gun you used lol
I can't tell if this thread is just full of bait or genuinely stupid people
PSA Rock
I just buy more so I have one in every armrest. When I get it back I sell it online as "blooded" for a price mark-up.

I draw glock 29 with Underwood "mega split a motherfucker in half" screwdriver bullets in the mag.
>police seize it for records or whatever
Yeah okay, great. I'm gonna go buy another right this very moment, I guess when you eventually give that one back I'll have two. Or if it gets disposed of or whatever that's fine too.
Thanks.
In the absurdly unlikely event I have to save myself by shooting, I just buy another weapon because I didn't fail at life.
Men are obliged by manhood not to permit themselves to become losers. If three or four grand really is a big deal compared to saving your own life, what makes that layer cake of fail and AIDS worth saving?
>use suppressed X95 SBR
>tell them I used the $400 PSA AR
Works every time
>thinking about money when your actual life is on the line
Fucking retarded. I want my most reliable firearm, the one I'm the most comfortable using.
What "defense"? I live near pig farms and own a chainsaw. That sound at 2AM? That was my truck's engine backfiring.
Just keep a dirty hipoint and/or maverick lying around to give to the cops. Or I guess a PSA if you insist on using 5.56/300blk.
Well seeing as I normally keep both my M&P 9 2.0 and Hellion loaded and in arms reach at all times when I'm home, guess it'll just be up to chance which one gets grabbed first. I have no issue losing either, if they slot someone I've helped them fulfill their purpose in this world. That said, I'm not gonna let them go without a fight and I will raise all kinds of hell (within the boundaries of the law) to get it back, if and when this post is brought up in court know this is not a threat but a promise
