you told me my chinese bag was shit

2 years ago you told me my "chinese" backpack (im not even gonna say brand so you cant say im shilling) was gonna fall apart "in 6 months".

it costed 40$, its a cool camo and i have been using it for the last 2 years to carry groceries, often 5-8kg, milk, yogurt, drinks. I regularly swing it over my shoulder and even the handle hasnt teared yet.

meanwhile you buy 200$ BLUE COLOR LIKE A homosexual "rei" backpacks with ONE FRICKING POCKET.

i would also like to remind you that PrepHole is the only board that when i shared i fricked with some animal abuser you all sides with HIM and said "killing cats is based". and it wasnt just one guy. it was multiple of you.

im not even gonna read the replies. i just came to say you are wrong, you are moronic and i hope no one ever listens to you.

I agree, this place is full of snobbery and to make things worse most of them never go out they just collect shit in their basement or setup tents in their backyard

Thrift stores have a lot of big backpacking packs in immaculate condition. But their midsized day packs are always ripped and dirty.

because i have a lot of groceries, for example i shopped for 1 month ahead.
and i already have a big hand bag, but i still need to carry half the shit in a back packs so i can actually bring everything inside

You can "shop for one month ahead" by putting them in the trunk of your car and taking them home, Anon. No bag is required.

That just means you live in a village/town and take a car to the nearest grocery store instead of walking, because you're a lazy fatso, or the town is full of beaners/ Black folk, or maybe both.

Good for you king. Don´t forget to check the temperature rates in the sleeping bags. Time and extensive use can reduce sleeping bags' properties, no matter if these are milsurp or civvie.

If it's down and you fluff it periodically, the R value will stay about the same for literally a century, maybe more. After maybe twenty years, you might have to open it up and stuff another handful of down in, then sew it shut.

I have a Walmart backpack I’ve used for 4-5 years now. I bought it for $20 on clearance and it’s held up insanely well. Will likely still be using it 5 years from now.

as long as it's good material, the only real factor is the stitching quality. 9/10 times bags end up being shit because the stitching is shit.

Absolutely everyone on this board, including the dankest memelords and most masterful baiters, will tell people who're just strolling down urban sidewalks or going on easy day hikes to use whichever bag they have lying around.
    > even the handle hasnt teared yet.
The handle is a hoist/hauling handle and is specifically reinforced and stitched to take abuse, so of course it hasn't.
    >when i shared i fricked with some animal abuser you all sides with HIM and said "killing cats is based".
You got trolled hard. That being said, this board is full of idiots and that's why I like it, I'm here to be entertained. I don't need advice from these Redditors, that's for sure.

Lol same here OP, I have a bag that's almost identical I think lots of Chinese companies use that design. Been using it for 2 years camping and trips to the shooting range filled with heavy stuff. I also have a student style backpack my mom bought from Costco for me probably 8 years ago I still use. Imagine sending $200 on a fricking backpack kek

I agree w u op. If you don't pay 5 times as much as these guys they cope by running down what u buy. Granted some cheap stuff is garbage but then again so is some expensive gear. If you try to tell these things u got a better deal they go crazy.

Pretty based, africans are literally PrepHole their entire lives and make due with clay pottery and whatever some of us chose to make the effort of donating instead of throwing in the trash.
Meanwhile outists can't survive a day hike without hauling around 2000$ worth of high-end gear.

africa is also literally the easiest place on earth to survive which is why their brains are small and un-developed.
this isn't even remotely controversial, the entire scientific community agrees Black person brains are smaller because africa was easy to survive in. the only thing up for debate is if having smaller brains makes them dumber or not. (lol)

      >Could it be that cognitive demands increased as ancestral humans entered higher latitudes? Not because mean temperatures were lower but because the yearly cycle presented a greater diversity of environments and required much more foresight. Between ‘summer’ and ‘winter,’ the differences are much greater in the temperate and arctic zones than in the tropics.
      >This point is elaborated upon by Hoffecker (2002, p. 135). Among early modern humans, tools and weapons were more complex at arctic latitudes than at tropical latitudes. “Technological complexity in colder environments seems to reflect the need for greater foraging efficiency in settings where many resources are available only for limited periods of time.” Arctic humans coped with resource fluctuations and high mobility requirements by planning ahead and by developing untended devices (e.g., traps and snares) and means of food storage.
      >In addition, these increased cognitive demands fell on both men and women. Paternal and maternal investment were much more equal than in the tropics, where women provided for their families year-round with less male assistance (Kelly, 1995, pp. 268-269; Martin, 1974, pp. 16-18). Indeed, because men were the main food providers beyond the tropical zone, women could care for their families by developing a new range of tasks: food processing (e.g., butchery and carcass transport); shelter building; garment making; leather working; transport of material goods; etc. (Waguespack, 2005). This technological revolution would ultimately lead to what we now call ‘civilization’ (Frost, 2008).
