No, I can afford to fly with my guns. Those allow you to fly with loaded magazines.

You can fly with loaded mags anyway
      t. Have flown with loaded mags without the cuck clip

FAA and TSA rules allow loaded magazines, but airline specific ones generally ban them. That being said if they don't see a loaded mag they generally don't care.

To be fair TECHNICALLY aluminum rusts, just instantly so worrying about rust damage is non existent

            BigC

aluminum forms a passivation layer, it doesn't rust
rust is something damaging to the surface, a generation of a compound that is greater than the initial volume of the metal converted to "rust"
look up rust jacking for examples

aluminum rusts, but it is beneficial instead of harmful

rust is the oxidation of ferrous metals. only ifon based metals can rust. You can not argue this.

Thats wrong. Aluminum is often used as an anode because of its nobility meaning it corrodes first to prevent another more important part from corroding first. It doesnt rust.

Your time is up grandpa. There’s a reason every serious military in the world has/is converting to polymer handguns and magazines.

The same reason militaries do anything, they're faster and cheaper to mass produce

If you want me to be impressed that you payed 2.5-3x more for the same magazines than average just so you could have a my little pony on the floorplate, then I'm afraid you're gonna be disappointed.

Well shit, if you can get them for free, then do it. I guess Colt in particular just pisses me off with their brandhomosexualry.
For instance, this is a Metalform 9mm AR15 magazine. They're very well made, and cost $20-$25 if you look around. The Colt brand Colt™ version is the exact same magazine, made on the same machines, from the same materials, in the same factory, by the same people, and costs $60 or more. Literally the only difference is the rollmark on the floorplate.

Speaking of mags, any downsides to these? I've got a few of them and enjoy the convenience, but now I have a bunch of extra base plates laying around.
