You guys heard of this murder?

>be pilot PrepHole camping
>old guy and his gf turn up
>you're in their spot
>old guy confronts you
>you tell him you were here first
>he sets up camp very close to you
>flies his drone over your camp
>go over and confront him
>-something happens-
>some how the old guy grabs your 12 gauge shotgun
>you snatch it back off him
>-something happens-
>you execute the old guy and his gf
>take their bodies
>drop them down a mine shaft
>have your car resprayed
>return some weeks later
>mutilate their bodies
>months pass
>you're PrepHole camping
>talking to yourself about what happened
>cops are listening to everything through your phone
>they think you're going to have a nice day
>out of no where a tactical police team storm out from the trees
>snatch you up
We still aren't sure exactly what happened but some how the old dude got hold of the pilots shotgun and that struggle resulted in them old couple dying. Reports say the old guy was a stubborn bastard and wouldn't let things go. Happened in Australia.

    Self defense isn't murder

Unfortunately when you hide the bodies and destroy them to the point that it can't be established how they died it's very easy to accuse you of murder and virtually impossible to prove self defence Especially when the bodies are later found.

Legally he might have been in the wrong but from an ethical standpoint he is perfectly clean. The old guy was like a rabid dog in dire need of euthanasia.

He if had not panicked and tried to hide the crime I think that legally he would have had a strong case because it's established the old dude actually took the pilots gun out of his car which then establishes a legit self defence case.

You guys are kinda glazing over the fact that after the old guy he then wasted the old lady.

I think OP's info is out of date. I think the current story is that this is what happened:

              >have physical altercation with old man while holding a gun
              >gun goes off, kills old woman
              >old guy goes berserk, murder him with your knife

      Dronies get the rope

Really hard to prove self defence in Australia especially with a gun. You are not even allowed to have one outside of a safe or locked vehicle unless you are specifically participating in hunting, on a farm or at an approved range.

Even then there was a case last year of a farmer who owned a couple hundred acres. A man turned up to his house with a knife at night. The farmer grabbed a .22 and held the guy at gunpoint. He called the police and walked the man to the front gate of his property with the .22 where the cops took the guy. Next day the cops came back and confiscated all of the farmers guns and charged him. A couple different gun rights groups stepped in to defend the farmer and he was looking at prison time. They beat the case and all of his guns were returned but if it wasn't for those gun rights groups and their hot shot lawyers the farmer could have gone to prison. They're pretty fricking serious about it but in this case, the old guy snatching the other guys gun, that's pretty serious to do and is always going to cause a struggle. The theory right now is that the shotgun went off during the struggle and hit the old lady, but we don't know.

i have actually seen this happen half a dozen times
    it happened to me twice
its always an old guy with a gigantic motorhome
theres only a few campsites that are big enough to fit all their shit
they know nobody going to kick an old mans ass
so they just move in and pretend they were there first
i remember i came back from registering my campsite and there was this guy just parked beside my tent
'if this is your site, why isnt your registration slip on the post'?
becuase i just got back from registering
    then he just wouldnt leave
what am i going to do? phone the cops? go to jail for a campsite?

I reserve sites a couple of times a year so I can get people together and teach them /out shit. I almost always have to kick squatters out of the site when I get there. Nowadays I only reserve sites that you can't park an RV near; really cuts down on the boomers.

This couple were fricking idiots, since when has angering a stranger in the middle of no where ever ended well? Also for such a petty reason? They could shown some consideration and found another spot but boomer entitlement is never ending.

I'm more interested in this than anything else. They were actively listening in on his phone?

    The lesson here is
    Never take your phone anywhere
Murder is bad too I guess
