You can just use "russ*" and it will filter all terms like Russia, Russian etc same with "ukr*"
the list you posted shows an embarrassing lack of understanding how to use a filter list, pls fix
Fucking around trying to push the bolt with your thumb is retarded when you can just slap a button with the palm of your hand. Has anyone on /k/ had to use a weapon for a purpose? Sometimes I don't think there are any.
Fine motor skills more or less go entirely out the window in a high stress, high adrenaline situation. The less dexterity a task requires, the better your chances of not fucking it up under pressure. it’s not an absolute necessity to have a forward assist, but it’s a good thing to have.
It was annoying hearing so called conservatives shitting on him too saying he shouldn't have been there with a gun
Dude was doing the right thing protecting his community while boomer conservatives watched everything burn and then they allowed him to get crucified for doing the right thing.
Hoinestly, it's more that he's an unsupervised teenage with a gun than him crossing state lines. Just about everyone is an idiot when they're about that age.

And yet America has been sending 17 year olds off to war in foreign shitholes for 200 years.
lol
you fucking nogunz retarded motherfucker
Even on 4chin you lack of knowing fuckall about guns and transport of said funs is comically lacking
have a nice day you useless fucking shill antiguns cocksucker
This is that cheap shit CH from that one davidson defense journeyman rifle being shilled hard as a $500 full featured gun but still sucks cock to a $400 psa free float upper and lower combo. It's shit because instead of being able to grab the edge of the handle like a raptor or other hype beast CHs it requires you to pull as close to the center as possible killing the purpose of buying such CH especially if you have a bulky optic.
So one of the main selling points of this thing is it's harder to break when mortaring. How is that small benefit worth the tradeoff of having a much less usable charging handle?
When youre on the attack, using a gun gets you shot by the govt. They don't only because things are still stable enough that they can't yet get away with it.
Yes I do, I’ve used it plenty of times when closing the bolt with the bolt release on a fresh mag in a dirty rifle when shooting suppressed in freezing weather with all of my ARs.
I've needed it before.
Fyi, i don't hunt with a round chambered.
Walking the ranch and came across a hog, I quietly chambered a round but didn't seat all the way. One little tap with the forward assist and I was golden.
Why is there so much seething and reeing over the forward assist? This meme has been around for a while and I've never gotten to the bottom of it. >adds functionality >doesn't increase weight any more than other aesthetic changes >doesn't add any meaningful amount of bulk >in conditions in which it isn't needed, weapon functions the same with or without it >in conditions in which it is needed, it functions better than any alternative

Yeah?? Same as any other gun ever???
the only 'bad' thing about the ar-15 is that it's boring. There's really nothing wrong with it at all.
it's just like a glock; it works exceptionally well, it's boring, it has no flavor.
Funny that you bring up the handgun that manages to malfunction in one way or another in almost all bodycam videos. The Glock and the AR ate both unreliable POS.

Show us all the failures of barrel extensions that ARs are totally notorious for.
The AR-15 throwing gas into your face if you dare use a suppressor is a pretty big flaw. Also the overly fragile, non-folding stock, but that's more of a tradeoff.
Saved Kyle Rittenhouse's life on live TV and retards with a lack of mechanical understanding still don't get it. If the bolt doesn't close due to a minor malfunction, yes absolutely push it into place. You'd only ever use the FA where you'd push an AK charging handle home. Very rarely but it could be necessary if there's small obstructions/debris/grit in the chamber that can be pushed past.
What does it do? I always assumed that it pushed forward a cartridge that wasn't properly inserted.
But it seems redundant with the, uh, the thing to the left that you pull.
As you can see, I'm an euro nogun. But I want to know.
AR's charging handle is non-reciprocating. It can pull the bolt back but can't push it forwards. This keeps the charging handle from smacking you in the face when the gun fires. If you want to force the bolt into battery you need to use the FA.
it's an added redunancy to force the bolt forward instead of having to rack the charging handle. It's not too uncommon to tap the foward assist after a reload or during initial bringing of your weapon online, to make absolute sure that the bolt is seated.
WHEN WILL YOU PEOPLE LEARN THAT YOUR ACTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES!
When you insert a new mag into your AR YOU DO NOT HIT THE BOLT RELEASE. Its is not a bolt release it's a BOLT HOLD OPEN! After inserting a mag you pull the charging handle back to RELEASE THE BOLT then you have successfully charged your rifle without undue wear. It's like you're all cavemen treating such things like a hammer or wrench!
i replaced it with a gas vent. when you shoot suppressed a lot of the gas that would hit your face will instead shoot out of the forward assist location away from you
I don't need an ar15? but I want one
YOU DONT NEED A FOWARD ASSIST FUCK YOU CUNT
I want one and there’s nothing you can do about it. Cope and seethe about it
I AGREE, IF JSOC SAY ITS NOT NEEDED THEN I AINT WANT THAT SHIT EITHER
Yes, and?
But how else are you supposed to send the bolt home?
I LIKE BUTTON THAT DOES NOTHING GIVES ME SOMETHING TO FIDGET WITH ON PATROL
this thread again. nobody cares
I support any thread that isn't a reddit tourist u/k/raine gpt shill bot thread
You can just use "russ*" and it will filter all terms like Russia, Russian etc same with "ukr*"
the list you posted shows an embarrassing lack of understanding how to use a filter list, pls fix
But the he wouldn't get too se me call you a russopussy
Will do. Thanks for the tip
>filtering Leman Russ
fucking heretic
>filtering China so he doesn't see the live leaks
holy cringe
>native extension
Fucking newfags I swear
>still strawmanning reddit into Ukraine threads
Not sure if bait or just an actual retard.
kyle rittenhouse did
there's no evidence to support the idea that simply pushing on the side of the bolt wouldn't have seated the round just fine
Fucking around trying to push the bolt with your thumb is retarded when you can just slap a button with the palm of your hand. Has anyone on /k/ had to use a weapon for a purpose? Sometimes I don't think there are any.

There's not enough grip on the bolt to push it forward easily. The AR trades a reciprocating charging handle for better sealing against dirt and mud.
Because he didn't have this
Isn’t pressing a button faster than pulling a charging handle all the way to the rear?
He was using an M&P lmao. Not the highest quality
>just M&P15 things
No he didn't. He had no business even being in the situation to begin with.
>Waaaah I should decide what other people want to do waaaah I don't want people to have freedoms waaah
Nobody cares what you think
Dilate tranny
What if I like riding the charging handle?
Kyle needed it
Sad we live in such a clown country that Rittenhouse even had to step into a courtroom to be cleared.
It was annoying hearing so called conservatives shitting on him too saying he shouldn't have been there with a gun
Dude was doing the right thing protecting his community while boomer conservatives watched everything burn and then they allowed him to get crucified for doing the right thing.
I said it forever and I'll keep saying; BOOMERS RUINED THIS COUNTRY, NOT MILLENNIALS
Can you define boomer?
Those born between 1945 and 1965.
I mean if you're all for crossing border lines to protect property why not go to Mexico and protect their businesses from Cartels?
lol you really went with the "HE CROSSED STATE LINES" line lol
Its always been legal to take your gun across state lines
Hoinestly, it's more that he's an unsupervised teenage with a gun than him crossing state lines. Just about everyone is an idiot when they're about that age.
And yet America has been sending 17 year olds off to war in foreign shitholes for 200 years.

The gun wasn't even brought over state lines. He got the rifle in Wisconsin.
And like I said he would t have needed the forward assist if he had this
Buy an ad
I don't care what that is
Cause I have a forward assist
Like Kyle
And most people with good ARs
So whatever that is
I don't need it

Imagine if they all had AR to level the playing field.
A dark world we live in.
When youre on the attack, using a gun gets you shot by the govt. They don't only because things are still stable enough that they can't yet get away with it.
Gaiges arm wouldn't look like this if it weren't for a forward assist
Which is why I need a forward assist
i'm always happy to see this idiot pop up on soc media crying about his chronic pain
so glad it's going to hurt forever. 😀
He got hit by a car recently too.
Shut up anti-FA homosexual
Forward assist bros...not like this...
I'm okay with exploring new calibers and pressures but there sure were some pants on head design decisions made with this weapon(s).
Yes I do, I’ve used it plenty of times when closing the bolt with the bolt release on a fresh mag in a dirty rifle when shooting suppressed in freezing weather with all of my ARs.
You didn't "need" to post
IT DOESN'T HARM THE FUNCTION OF THE WEAPON AND CAN ONLY HELP
The Sniper Mode button is a vital part of the AR weapon system.
>need
BILL OF RIGHTS, NOT BILL OF NEEDS
SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED BORTHER
how the fuck am i gonna reload then?
I've needed it before.
Fyi, i don't hunt with a round chambered.
Walking the ranch and came across a hog, I quietly chambered a round but didn't seat all the way. One little tap with the forward assist and I was golden.
This. It's really no different than smacking the charging handle forwards except it's a lot quieter.
Fuck off.
who cares, it's cool to have one more button on a gun even if you don't use it
Why is there so much seething and reeing over the forward assist? This meme has been around for a while and I've never gotten to the bottom of it.

They hate the AR-15 and just want to look for flaws.
the only 'bad' thing about the ar-15 is that it's boring. There's really nothing wrong with it at all.
it's just like a glock; it works exceptionally well, it's boring, it has no flavor.
If it has no flavor it's because we've been overexposed to it.
>There's really nothing wrong with it at all.
who would want a rifle with a locking bolt that doesn't lock into the barrel
> that doesn't lock into the barrel
What are you talking about?

That's news to me.
More reason slurs against AIDS-spreading gays should include "Op."
Last I heard. It wasn't called the Bill of Needs
Thats right, its the Bill of Sneeds
Maybe not, but I'm not going to buy a new rifle without one. My own rifle is GOOD ENOVGH.
This would be a more useful replacement for FA.
Light my smokes AND power my discman-to-cassette adapter audio experience.
Zoomers could never.

even before i really knew about guns i always wondered about how the fuck this would even work
You pull the handle back and the gun shoots, dude

releasing the bolt with the bolt catch on AR good
releasing the slide on a pistol with the slide STOP bad
simple as
kyle rittenhouse used his
i replaced it with a gas vent. when you shoot suppressed a lot of the gas that would hit your face will instead shoot out of the forward assist location away from you
It saved Kyle, simple as.
You will never touch a firearm or woman.
Your ASS doesn't need my DICK but it's getting it.
Sorry Karl and Ian, you do need one and polymer AR lowers are gayer than your Satanic church.
I've used it on old USMC M16A4's. Never used it on my M4 or M27.
Seems useful on old clapped out and dirty rifles.
How else do you tune the built in radio?
