For the rest it's kind of puzzling what he's trying to achieve. Lure Ukraine into a false sense of security to commit to a counter offensive on Bakhmut? I doubt its 100% genuine. Maybe half truths, the documentation does indicate that wagner has been receiving more munition than AFU, but Ukraine committed overall more men to Bakhmut. Also Ukraine fortified the area heavily and it's hard to deny that Wagner and the Russian army on the flanks haven't also incurred high losses for this offensive.
I think the pull out is very fake, at this time it is very much in Russia's interest to force the AFU out of the remainder of Bakhmut since it'll be costly to the stranglers who need to go through the fields. It would mean all the suffering of the prior months that Wagner / Russian army experienced was for nothing.
