Would Russia have taken Kiev if they through all the 200k troops of the special military operation at it?

Would Russia have taken Kiev if they through all the 200k troops of the special military operation at it? Meaning no southern and eastern offensive, only goal would be to take the capital at all cost.

no. limiting a mass of troops in vehicles to a small number of roads would've only made the problem worse. see your local cities highways at rush hour. they would've been clumped together even tighter and been obliterated even worse than they already were. the russian military is a fricking joke

No. The entire fricking reason they couldn't take Kyiv is the they were forced to convoy on the roads because they attacked during the muddy season like complete frickwits and were rushing it in vehicles without infantry support so every time they drove past local defenders they got shredded and often they weren't even watching their flanks, and when they finally got there, before they could even complete an encirclement from the west, their lead vehicles got taken out by artillery manned by local defenders which caused the biggest log jam in history while Kyiv sent their regular forces in to sortie against their flanks.

It was an absolute bloodbath. There's a reason they fricked off as quick as they did. More troops just would have meant more troops piled up in Belarus and Russia or digging trenches in Chernobyl while this shitshow was going on.

Frick's sake they couldn't even SEAD.

That video suddenly turning up in our recommendations at the start of the war was fricking incredible. The YT algorithm can be hilarious when it needs to.

they only entered the outskirts of kiev and were getting slaughtered by ATGMs, rocket launchers and drones at that point, just saturating it with more logistics problems in mud season would probably break russia's army in a third of the time we've seen so far

No, Kiev is a massive city. It would be a hell to take even with the entire invasion force

is rumors that tb2 stopped ruski convoys in kiev true?

No, because they couldn't bring all those 200k troops. At least not without raising the last few red flags that would make it (more) obvious what was going on. Because you need to realize a large portion of the 200k force was separatist forces.
