They'll probably run out of repairable tanks from the boneyard and mostly have new production vehicles in limited quantities.

But they dont produce more than dozen T-90s in a batch and BMP-3 production is like 130 vehicles a year, that wont cut it with these kind of losses

if real that's decent if they stop suiciding themselves, 100 t-90 and 300 bmp-3 a year should be enough for the scale of the war (if russians weren't moronic zergs)

Yeah, but think of how much money Putin & the gang embezzle off the dead and wounded RU soldiers' pensions and funds and off the contracts for refurbishing and repairing old tanks or making new ones? How is he supposed to actually stay the president without all the graft and bribery?

T-90 is "produced" from old T-72 hulls, If they run out of soviet rust-buckets it's over. Same for artillery.

they'll just become more and more rare
their forces will just continue to fight with degrading support
all until either russBlack folk give up and leave, or ukraine manages to break through their lines in force
nobody knows when, but russoids will just continue to field their armour in fewer and fewer numbers as they lose the ability to field larger numbers of them

With any luck, maybe Puccia only has enough hulls left in their boneyards for another year of sustained conflict.

They'll buy North Korean, Chinese, Latin American vehicles before they get to that point.

Whatever happened to the stockpiles of older T-64A tanks? They weren't sold off to Africa like the T-54/55 series.
I'm guessing those will be next in line to be sent to the front after the T-72Bs run out.

After that, maybe we'll see the JS-2 Obr.2024

The T-55s are being pulled out for use as-is afaik. No upgrades. Upgrades are going on the T-72s, and they have enough of those for years of fighting.

I guess it does not matter much what kind of tank you drive into another failed attack on Avdiivka or Vuledar or wherever.

Also, Russia had a lot of rusty hulls, but with daily losses of 10 tanks per day they are running out fast. Just do the math, They would need to pull 3000 from storage every year. Even if they where able to do this. Even if if they had 10.000 stored. This war is going on for two years now. At best they could keep fighting until summer next year. then it's just meat attacks.
Like World War I. We all know how this went for Russia.

        >10 tanks per day
That is not the average. It's about 100 a month per UK intel and they replace them as fast. It's not 2022 anymore.
Every single guesstimate from open source analysis looking at satellite images of storage bases I've seen has said Russia has enough tanks (mostly T-72s) for at least for another 3-4 years at current loss rates. I've seen Ukrainian officers in interviews roughly repeat those estimates. If Ukraine wants to be fighting in 2029, sure, Russia will run out if they can't beg some T-59s from China, but I don't think they want to be fighting that long.

this would be lower then independent visually confirmed losses, so it's obviously nonsense

          >It's about 100 a month
If that number is to be believed, it would still mean Russia can't offset it's losses. 2600 tank destroyed in 700 days is 4 tanks a day average. So yes Russia is running out cause they do not have the capacity to effectively reinforce units.

they will be extending hostilities into belarus when they finish occupying it and then try to attack ukraine again from the north east or try to bum rush the baltic states to take them hostage and keep aid away from ukraine. So yes, them fighting all the way to the 2029-2030 is not that outlandish

            Anonymous

With what? Sticks and stones? There is just no way Russia would have even a single working tank or artillery gun left. Even if they if there is not a single loss more then is visually confirmed, even if every "stored" vehicle in the books actually exists. even if they could use up all North Korean and Belorussian inventory.

T-72 model is fastest shrinking segment in Russian visually confirmed tank losses(and not because they magically stop losing them)

They can get about 400 more tanks if they strip Belarus of everything it allegedly has. Also leaving Belarus with too much equipment means it might become a strategic threat to Russia, since they've given the Great Potato nuclear weapons.
