Even worse assuming they're ever captured. At least snipers endured the cold, the thirst, the hunger, the fatigue, the danger of every other soldier. Drone operators are sitting in a comfy chair, in a shirt and tie, in an air-conditioned office, vaping and drinking Red Bull (and vodka) and it's literally impossible for them to show any mercy since their every action is recorded forever. Snipers at least have honour

Sounds like a based job tbh. You don't need to show honor when you're dealing with subhuman troglodytes (Russians)

Many Russian soldiers are conscipts. If a conscript wants to surrender it should be accepted. If he later turns out to be heartless sociopath and dies in captivity nobody will care; but the average working man who gets pressed into service should be allowed to surrender and be treated with dignity

My point exactly. A professional soldier has a chance to discern that his enemy is inexperienced, ill-trained and terrified i.e. a conscript, and may show some humanity if the enemy throws his weapon away and screams that he is a conscript and just wants to go home, a drone operator will 100% drop a grenade on that homie who is no threat to him whatsoever, where another infantrymen might take him as a POW at great risk to his own life.

If he kills his commanding officer or anyone above him first, sure. Otherwise he's just a coward who will die a coward's death. You don't get to go through 99% of the process and then shit your pants and cry when facing the death you signed up for. Ziggers want to be in Ukraine, no matter how much they cry about it when they realize they're losing.

                See

Turning on your own people, even if they are a CO pressing you into war, is basically a 100% chance of death, and your family will be disgraced for at least 2 generations, many more if your culture is traditional. Conscripts correctly calculate that they have a better chance of survival on the battlefield than they do becoming a traitor and an enemy of their own state. They (generally) just want to live and make it home to their regular life. I could be giving Russians too much credit but my countrymen have a long history of violently resisting any draft so long as the enemy wasn't directly invading their waters/land. We have literally lost more men resisting a draft than we did in an actual war. I just want to go to work and go home in peace.

This would be different if the conscript wasn't an invader. No matter your path, if you're conscripted you have an opportunity multiple times to kill at least one of the people forcing you into service. It's unfortunate that this is your time and place in history but that's just how things go on this planet.

That's the thing, just don't get pressed into service. Accepting it literally says "I am willing to kill foreigners in their homeland instead of the bastards who are forcing me there." Every Russian who doesn't frag their CO before making it to Ukraine is a valid target. They'd rather die face down in a cold field thousands of miles from home than on their feet on their own land. That's subhuman homosexual behavior and should be treated as such. If you took a plane, train, or military vehicle to get to the warzone, you wanted to be there.

Black person THIS IS RUSSIA. The STATE might murder or torture your family if you defect, but ordinary civilians don't give a single shit about the war other than wanting it to end. The STATE is a bully. It will pick on the line conscript without hesitation long before they commit to taking on city after city, town after town, village of village in their native lands who resist them in a unified, organised fashion. Russians, for whatever reason, cannot organise and resist on a community basis like people in the West do. That's precisely why they're so oppressed and abused in comparison.

You cannot surrender to a drone because it cannot accept your surrender and take you into custody. You can certainly try, but when there's been instances of false surrender already, the ukies have absolutely zero responsibility to try and accept it. If you want to surrender, abandon your weapons, tie a white flag and walk towards the ukie lines and pray.
Anyone who doesn't is a valid target.
"But muh conscripts just wanna go home" they clearly value their will to go home over the lives of you and yours, while in your country. That makes them an enemy.
Not even infantrymen are required to take prisoners if they cannot do so safely.

There is already a bounty on the heads of drone operators AND their families.
Any operator captured will certainly be coerced into divulging personal info and then watch as their family members, Mother, Father, Child, etc, are droned to death. Then they will beg for the mercy of death.

As this punishment continues to spread, military's will have to rely more on A.I. to perform drone strikes.
