Depends how deep you load it. But I don’t think you’re gonna find any 90 grain .224’s with a short enough ogive for 5.56. The ogive will be seated below the case mouth.
Check out 22 arc. I just read about it on TFB. 6 arc necked down to 22. Has much longer ogive space than 5.56.
Do not seat 75 grain A-MAX, or any .224 bullet above 77 grains at magazine length for an AR-15. Any reloading manual will tell you this. Get a reloading manual.
Depends on how far you seat them
That's the issue, I'm afraid I'd have to seat them too far
well give it a try
Only guys I've ever seen shooting 90's were using bolt guns, I imagine for this exact reason
Yer a feckin retard Harry
>and a droolin good one too
No. Those are not meant for .223/5.56 chamberings in even a bolt action rifle. That is a .22-250 bullet.
there was some based anon in the reloader threads who shot 80 gr in a AR for science. it was probably 5 years ago now
is 75gr the typical max for off the shelf ammo?
yep, dude said he used a lot of extra caution on every round he made. cant recall if he posted fps though
Why would you put cereals in a bullet?
you need to be 18 or older to post here
It might blow your mind but 220 grain .30 cal bullets will fit in a 5.56 magazine, its called .300 blk
Those are rookie numbers.
.458 SOCOM bullets are up to 600gr.
>90
Go for broke.
