By their nature Chechens are a very insular people who do not form the kind of international connections needed to get supplied from outside or have their plight made a world issue. They are Muslim but being oppressed by other Muslims and not particularly tied to any mainstream branches of the religion that might send them aid. The vast majority of people living there would not even have the means to visit another country except possibly Russia, there is no diaspora to rally support, they have nothing that a successful insurgency would require while Kadyrov has basically everything he would need to suppress such a movement.
