I don't own a .308, but I figured I'd check just to get an estimate of what I'd pay if I had bought an AR10 instead of 15, and I'm finding .308 brass, non reman for like 60-100 cents per round.

I remember buying that South African 300 round 5.56 battle packs for $30 from local gun shows. Also 7n6, nugget ammo, and 7.62x25 was a nickel per round. Shit, I remember endless threads on weaponeer and m4carbine dot net about converting ARs to 7.62 tokarev. Things were so much better and I really regret not buying up like 100k rounds but I was a poorgay and didn’t realize things could ever get so bad.
