Just watch Embrace of the Serpent. It’s basically the thematic sequel (the erosion of cultures and the ultimate synthesis of the next generation)

I don’t really want to watch a movie about Christisraelite conquistadors begetting a generation of mutt golems, I just want to see more injuns killing each other.

Nah he’s based for calling Christians christcucks. However he’s cringe for reading up an incorrect synopsis of the movie and dismissing it for not having something which it actually does have.

That man in that pic is Mexican American actor Raoul Trujillo.

He played Sarah Gadon's father in the film Octavio is Dead.

I believe Oscar Jaenada is Romanian, but he did a good job playing him and was fine in On Stranger Tides as well.

He’s from Catalonia, Spain. His name is not Romanian at all. That said, not much difference between Spanish and Romanian people in terms of looks.

Spanish-Mexican co-production. High production values. Interesting use of language, non-linear story telling. I liked it a lot and it's mostly non-woke. Worst thing they did was being a cringe about the Spanish Inquisition in the 7th episode.

the story of malinche (the women in this pic) is iteself fascinating
      >native american girl has her family killed and is enslaved by the aztecs when she is a kid
      >is enslaved and abused her entire life
      >cortez comes and captures a group of slaves with her in it
      >by some long shot chance she is recognized by one of cortez men, who had lived amoung some mayan people years prio and crossed paths with her
      >the spanish soldier can speak mayan with her that he picked up while living with some mayan people for almost a decade
      >she speaks all the local languages due to her time as a slave servant
      >is able to quickly pick up spanish as well
      >she hence becomes cortez personal translator
      >she hates the aztecs and all the other local peoples due to being enslaved and sold to various peoples throughout her life
      >now she is the mouthpiece for the americas version of the anti-christ
      >now she gets a chance at revenge
      >she delights in taking apart of the complete destruction of the aztec empire
      >marries a spanish soldier and lives out the rest of her life as a rich upperclass socialite in spain.

        Do it.

Aztec (1980) : A story of the Aztec empire just before and during the arrival of the Spaniards.

The Journeyer (1984) : An account of the travels of Marco Polo to the Far East.

        Raptor (1992) : Thorn, a hermaphrodite, and his/her adventures in a post-Roman world.

        And my favourite:
Spangle: After surrendering at Appomattox Court House in Virginia at the end of the American Civil War, two Confederate soldiers wander off and join Florian’s Flourishing Florilegium of Wonders, a traveling circus that has managed to continue performing throughout the war. Escaping from the coming Reconstruction of the South, the circus embarks for Europe where they meet many adventures as they travel throughout Europe between 1865 and 1871.

PS, avoid the Aztec sequel, and """"sequels""""

            >Thorn, a hermaphrodite, and his/her adventures in a post-Roman world.

            My second favourite after Spangle.
Its more about Teodoric the Great than "postRoman World" though.

All of them are good historical fiction/novels, and if you want a cheap hook to get interested in them, have lots of sex, depravation, and gore.
But above all, are just too much fun to read.
