No they sent them in another box. The guy opened the first box, oops no bfa ur dqed, may as well throw this other box from Robinson out too. Basically they simply weren't interested in a submission by some literal who. Pity, because it's a much nicer rifle than the fn.
To be fair, the original mid-2000s XCR is kind of lacking compared to the current-gen ones; I'd be tempted to pick the FN SCAR over it as well. But now that they have a nice adjustable stock, ambi safety and mag release and dickmod or MLOK handguards I think it compares pretty favorably.

First party vs third party I'm not really sure what the issue is. FN ignored customer feedback, so now there's a cottage industry making SCAR bits for edge cases where FN refuses to change. Other than wait time for spares, I don't really feel squeezed by RA. I'd like to see them become successful enough to acquire a barrel forge, or contract with someone for CHF barrels.
>not as tested
Yes. It's never been adopted or professionally used. Which makes the xcr nothing more than a range toy.
Maybe a sig product is more your speed? I know the XCR has seen use with police/SWAT, but I really don't care about that. Many shitty guns have been adopted, doesn't mean you should rush out to buy it.
Your point actually makes me more impressed with RA/XCR, people have been saying they will go out of business since I first saw the rifle around 2007. Yet it's still here, being produced and for some reason people are buying them. For a range toy, mine have been nearing barrel shot out round counts with only an extractor swap.
I personally would have ordered the XCR in 308. At $2600, that's kind of surprising considering I can easily see it being $3000.
But the lead time on rifles AND SPARE PARTS is very off putting. The canadian ban probably doesn't help the company either.
I waited 11 months for a big barrel and spare parts kits order for some buddies. They are pretty on top of it if you have an actual parts breakage/warranty, but spares orders get put in the JIT line. I wasn't super hyped about the 308, but managed to score one about 1k under current pricing. Couldn't pass it up. I think their big limitation is sourcing barrels.

XCR still gives you better adjustment for winter vs summer conditions without swapping components. You can chase the minimum amount of recoil for whatever setup your running, or to suit the weather. The difference is the "jet" is on a dial that moves. Yes it's a part that moves, so I guess it could fail by getting filled with carbon/lead etc. I just don't see it as a failure mode with my usage. I've cleaned the gas block on my 7.62x39 barrel once, and its the dirtiest shooter >parts
Are you implying RA is shutting it's doors and never producing spares? People said this even before I bought my first one over 10yrs ago. Regardless I purchased enough spares to last a lifetime of shooting, which anyone should do for their platform of choice.

Unless you are shooting winter mousefarts vs summer proof loads you dont need to play with conditional settings with any load. Ive shot tula at -30 and tula at 115f with the same jetting without issue. And hey if you do end up shooting mousefarts with SCAR just throw the lever and call it a day.
SCAR has superior "oh shit give me more gas" lever imo vs rolling numbers up and down. >Are you implying xyz
No im saying that spare parts are not an aftermarket dude. I dont care how many spares you have, I take those as a given. If the XCR was hudson levels of no spare parts we wouldnt be even having this conversation.

Ok so what answers would the aftermarket provide for the XCR? Only thing that immediately comes to mind would be chf barrels, or alternate sources for spares.

Are you seriously arguing that a binary gas lever is superior to the granularity of a seven position dial? Dude, come on. I reload, and 100% every time no question I’d rather have 5-10 discrete gas settings than the “more gas, less gas” of the SCAR (which is also what my Brens have + a “no gas” which I’ve drilled out)
>Are you seriously arguing that a binary gas lever is superior to the granularity of a seven position dial?
Absolutely, once the gun is set for the load youre using you shouldnt be monkey with it unless you have a suppressor malfunction or fouling/environment restriction that requires more gas. >Granularity of a seven position dial
Thats what jets are for, Like 1-2mm in 0.01mm steps is infinity tuning. >I reload

>90 degree safety options
Other than manual of arms I don't see the benefit over 60 degree throw >Modularity in receiver length
Maybe a large diameter rail to fit a buried can, on the shorter side >Weight loss parts (poly lower, swap some steel for ti, etc)
Some of this is compatible with ar parts, I was thinking about milling some ti but the weight savings would have only been a couple ounces. Magazine release, selector, gas tube, fasteners? Lightening cuts in the receivers could be a thing, though >AR bolt release lower
I could see it for the triggers, but the bolt catch is one of the best features of the rifle. No need to change this beyond manual of arms >Extended controls >Retained barrel screw
It's a helicoil, it doesn't move. I guess you could design a trap for it, but I don't see the need beyond witness marking >More ports on regulator >Flash hiding regulator
The gas block "vents" into the gas tube with some drain holes, which contains the oprod. There's no port flash to speak of >Some sort of device that vaporizes people who paint them awful like the color schemes in their gallery

>Manual of arms
Is important if you are trying to sell it as an upgrade over the M4. Im not a fan of trigger guard controls for all sorts of reasons. But not making the lower as AR centric as possible was a mistake. The MCX has the right idea in terms of being AR15+short stroke piston with captured recoil, its just executed by penny pinchers. >ordered that shit.

This isn't about it being a replacement to the M4 (which the SCAR is clearly not, either.) The XCR bolt release has objectively superior manual of arms, no amount of "WELL ITS NOT WHAT I GREW UP WITH, YOUNG'N" is going to change that.

XCR upper isn't the regulated part, pedo. You're making an argument for a feature the SCAR needs that the XCR doesn't. You can easily change the XCR's barrel in 30 seconds, and that's if we're talking about a barrel change. If you want to swap uppers, which - again - aren't the serialized part, it's obviously even faster. >Flexibility >Isn't even taking advantage of that flexibility >Because many of those systems require you to melt the red locktite holding the lower rail onto the barrel and to remove the side rails, a PITA process that basically makes whatever you settle with a permanent choice.

Dawg I have a gajillion loads I like to use and monkey around with. Has nothing to do with ladder loads. I don’t wanna pop the fricking regulator out and frick with the jets whenever I wanna shoot 220gr subs or 110gr VMAX or 147gr shitters or 125gr TNT etc etc. It’s awesome to be able to just roll the regulator over to the perfect setting for soft shooting and minimal gas/noise. You’re really reaching on this one >Brens >No jets
This is true, and jets would be preferable to nothing, but there are aftermarket regulators now with more positions available.
Listen, obviously the SCAR is a fantastic gun, one of the best around. I’m probably going to pick up a 17 next year. But the differences between XCR, SCAR, Bren are all at the margins and they are all great guns with unique benefits/features. I do think it’s nuts to hate on a multi position gas reg tho

Meant to expand on that and say preferable to like half the community. Some want monolithic, some modular, can’t have both. Maybe a LAM? >glaring holes

And thats the thing, once you are out of the "look it works!" tier it becomes micro optimizations. Like any diminishing returns it gets very close and that small priority you put on chf vs no chf becomes a big thing when they all hover around the same set of pros/cons.

Do you reload for the SCAR? Because in my experience the "more gas, less gas" works fine. I've left mine on "less gas" since I bought it and never had a malfunction aside from issues with a HANDL Defense lower.
Anonymous
No, but I reload for other 5.56 guns where I would like to be able to tune the gas for certain loads. It’s not that extra gas induces a malfunction, just that it’s gassier when suppressed and I know it’s harder on the rifle, reducing the lifespan of the parts. Flexibility is rarely a detriment

Bad luck mostly.
Its a relatively expensive gun that missed out on the SCAR trials advertisement or being featured in any video games or TV shows like the Masada/ACR were.
So it ended up in a limbo of being popular enough to stick around and be liked, but never breaking through to mass popularity or being known.
Small shop, long wait times due to JIT manufacturing, not much marketing because they are already slammed with orders. It seems like their barrel supplier is a limiting factor.
They had some early QC issues and the owner liked to argue with people online which might have turned some people off. Not much of an issue now.
It's my favorite carbine. A step above the AR in ergos and reliability in shitty conditions.

I have one of the first XCRs. It’s my favorite carbine. About 3k through it. Not one hiccup. It’s a little heavy (I have the heavy barrel), but it shoots very smooth. I will never sell it. If they could build enough of them and get them out there they’d be more popular.
my oldest XCR was from the first run after they changed the trigger. you should have gotten the pencil barrel. they don't make them anymore, and it does wonders for the balance. it's actually a little thinner than the barrel on my Colt SP1.
I personally would have ordered the XCR in 308. At $2600, that's kind of surprising considering I can easily see it being $3000.
But the lead time on rifles AND SPARE PARTS is very off putting. The canadian ban probably doesn't help the company either.

Why would you do that if the xcr is so good? I think in actuality you are lying through your teeth.

lol, the only places I've physically seen them, they've been in their own league price wise. First result on google has it for more than 2x the price of a SCAR. SR25 is no better. Maybe you were just mindbroken by squid like the rest of /k/. Feel free to post your $7k rifle though.
I find 12" to be pretty comfy, outside of 300blk. You get the full length gas system, a couple inches to eliminate port pop, and decent velocity for 5.56. You can always go shorter or get custom length for a specific application. The hand guard is a bit small for burying a can.
The XCR has 2 common gas system lengths, blackout, which is about 4" long and made for 9.5" barrels/subsonic stuff, and standard, which is about 9" long. You can swap pistons/barrels between them.
The 308 has slightly longer lengths, I think around 8" and 13"
Where does the gas tube fit in the rifle? Those lengths don’t add up?
On the subject of port pop, it's minimal with these due to the gas block/tube being enclosed (except for the drain holes). The system keeps excess gas in the barrel, other than what's needed to cycle the action. No vents. I don't have any gas tube pics handy, but it's a pretty simple tube that rides in the upper and contains the oprod.

If you look at the round thingy at the base of the bolt, that contains the firing pin spring and roll pin which captures the firing pin. The small pin below it captures the whole assembly in the bolt

There's legitimately more 55x guns and barrels from chopped parts kits in country than the total production run of XCRs. Doesn't matter since like two people in country have actually done the swap/are competent enough to do so.
It's a shame Robinson didn't follow through with their Swiss police contracts and add improvements to the gun based on their feedback. We'd have probably gotten a bad ass B&T knockoff if they got traction with the only people who have them a chance rather than giving them the bird.

Thats not really an aftermarket, its just spare parts. I dont get giddy about sig offering to sell someone spare firing pins as an aftermarket lol.
Every single XCR part that will ever exist, exists right now. Thats the entirety of the platform. The MCX is eating its lunch in terms of stupid widgets and zoomer street cred.
>CHF
Never happening
He dialed me on the tripphone
The PSA Crackl?
Tune into gen 3 to see if its real
XCR still gives you better adjustment for winter vs summer conditions without swapping components. You can chase the minimum amount of recoil for whatever setup your running, or to suit the weather. The difference is the "jet" is on a dial that moves. Yes it's a part that moves, so I guess it could fail by getting filled with carbon/lead etc. I just don't see it as a failure mode with my usage. I've cleaned the gas block on my 7.62x39 barrel once, and its the dirtiest shooter
>parts
To play devil’s advocate: triggers. But t b h, beyond that idk. Maybe more/different stock adapters? The XCR match trigger is basically the Larue MBT2S anyway so I love it
90 degree safety options
Modularity in receiver length
Weight loss parts (poly lower, swap some steel for ti, etc)
AR bolt release lower
Extended controls
Retained barrel screw
More ports on regulator
Flash hiding regulator
Some sort of device that vaporizes people who paint them awful like the color schemes in their gallery
With more time on them im sure I can generate a couple more complaints but its one of those things
>I reload
Why are you walking up loads in boutique gas guns?
>Brens
No jets
>90 degree safety options
Other than manual of arms I don't see the benefit over 60 degree throw
>Modularity in receiver length
Maybe a large diameter rail to fit a buried can, on the shorter side
>Weight loss parts (poly lower, swap some steel for ti, etc)
Some of this is compatible with ar parts, I was thinking about milling some ti but the weight savings would have only been a couple ounces. Magazine release, selector, gas tube, fasteners? Lightening cuts in the receivers could be a thing, though
>AR bolt release lower
I could see it for the triggers, but the bolt catch is one of the best features of the rifle. No need to change this beyond manual of arms
>Extended controls
>Retained barrel screw
It's a helicoil, it doesn't move. I guess you could design a trap for it, but I don't see the need beyond witness marking
>More ports on regulator
>Flash hiding regulator
The gas block "vents" into the gas tube with some drain holes, which contains the oprod. There's no port flash to speak of
>Some sort of device that vaporizes people who paint them awful like the color schemes in their gallery
Kek, the best part about that is somebody actually ordered that shit. They did have a 2 tone green that was kind of neat a couple years ago
So its an accessory that burns the factory down? Deal
>trying to sell it as an upgrade over the M4
>Flexibility
>Isn't even taking advantage of that flexibility
>Because many of those systems require you to melt the red locktite holding the lower rail onto the barrel and to remove the side rails, a PITA process that basically makes whatever you settle with a permanent choice.
You're shilling the SCAR so hard it's making me ashamed to own one. Cool SVT, though.
>Confusing me with the anime pedos
Nah dude
You're a tripgay, that's just the default and justified assumption. You should go to a different site if you want to have a name.
Not an argument
>I know! I'll go someplace, then in my insecurity, demand attention in an otherwise anonymous setting! I could go to reddit, arfcom, youtube, or anywhere else that attaches posts to names, but what if I made myself a constant disruption while hanging out in discord with pedos instead?
A2 isn't in any k discords that I am aware of. Hasn't been in the either as well.
You're aware that the site has a built in function of a namefield and you're just choosing not to fill it in, right?
>poly lower
Just lol
>modularity in receiver length
As if monolithic receivers aren’t preferable
>AR bolt release
Dude the XCR bolt release is the best around. Easily one of the best features
>Absolutely, once the gun is set for the load youre using
Dawg I have a gajillion loads I like to use and monkey around with. You’re really reaching on this one
>Brens
>No jets
This is true, and jets would be preferable to nothing, but there are aftermarket regulators now with more positions available.
Listen, obviously the SCAR is a fantastic gun, one of the best around. I’m probably going to pick up a 17 next year. But the differences between XCR, SCAR, Bren are all at the margins and they are all great guns with unique benefits/features. I do think it’s nuts to hate on a multi position gas reg tho
>As if monolithic receivers aren’t preferable
Flexibility is nice if your upper is the regulated part. Being stuck with barrel lengths to receivers is sort of lame
>You’re really reaching on this one
Idk if thats the case on rifles designed for military use where most people arent playing with sub v super constantly.
>Close margins
SCAR is the only one that gets all the things right. Everything else has one or two glaring holes in it that just kneecap it to a point that makes you wonder why you would buy it.
>Multi position
Fal multigas just sucks and nothing will let it live it down.
>preferable
Meant to expand on that and say preferable to like half the community. Some want monolithic, some modular, can’t have both. The bolt on handguard extension dingus for the SCAR is cool but it’s kind of a gimmick — the receiver is still monolithic and I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone mount something on it. Maybe a LAM?
>glaring holes
I don’t think you’ve made a good case for that. Again, it seems like you’re noting basically marginal differences (several of which are related to user preference) and declaring one option unequivocally superior.
>FAL sucks
Don’t you dare
>Extension thingy
Being able to throw an extension on there is nice
For lams and clips
>marginal differences
And thats the thing, once you are out of the "look it works!" tier it becomes micro optimizations. Like any diminishing returns it gets very close and that small priority you put on chf vs no chf becomes a big thing when they all hover around the same set of pros/cons.
>if your upper is the regulated part
xcr lower is regulated part btw
Is it? I've been looking at them for years and always thought it was the upper.
Yeah, 100%. This is my SBR
>SCAR is the only one that gets all the things right.
SCAR gets almost nothing right. it's a fricking train wreck, and it's not getting any better.
It causes immeasurable asshurt from people who dont own them without fail. So id say that part o the program is on track.
it also causes immeasurable aggravation from those of us who do own them. if that was FN's goal then job well done.
>namegay pretending his purchase puts him into a different class of people that others simply hate due to their superiority, rather than the truth that others just hate him and his moronic opinions.
> Unless you are shooting winter mousefarts vs summer proof loads you dont need to play with conditional settings with any load
Are you seriously arguing that a binary gas lever is superior to the granularity of a seven position dial? Dude, come on. I reload, and 100% every time no question I’d rather have 5-10 discrete gas settings than the “more gas, less gas” of the SCAR (which is also what my Brens have + a “no gas” which I’ve drilled out)
>I reload, and 100% every time no question I’d rather have 5-10 discrete gas settings than the “more gas, less gas” of the SCAR
Do you reload for the SCAR? Because in my experience the "more gas, less gas" works fine. I've left mine on "less gas" since I bought it and never had a malfunction aside from issues with a HANDL Defense lower.
Wat
>not as tested
Yes. It's never been adopted or professionally used. Which makes the xcr nothing more than a range toy.
Yo bought your first gun in 2020, your opinion on anything firearms related literally does not matter.
Right, so when a two-year-old tells you that the sky is blue that's not true according to you. So fricking stupid
Not fat
Post your gun outside
I didn’t screenshot it but I was in that thread. He was completely btfo
>/arg/ namehomosexual, quoting another /arg/ namehomosexual
hard pass reading that
I like that tripgay #1 immediately got on the horn to tripgay #2
once the screenshot of him getting bootyblasted from two months ago got posted. Tripgay #2 charged in ready to explain how he isn’t wrong on half of the points listed here , just moronic (“the SCAR is superior because boutique manufacturers popped up to supply, at exorbitant cost, the demand FN refused to fulfill”)
Tripgays go and stay go
This is peak seething. Seems as if you are trying to cope with your purchase.
>coping is when you point out the triptards moronation
Trips back on fatties, come on now
He literally did that though. You’re both homosexuals
can someone add this to the screencap of IL4DD talking about the xcr, i didn’t think it could get better than the screenshot of him talking about how he regretted buying the scar and wanted an xcr
I'll do it tomorrow, lol
Alex has a temper. I'm glad he's focusing on the business instead. There was a lot of shitposting going on at the time about it, and some valid criticism about customer service. There were a couple guys with a hate boner for it that just wouldn't give up on arfcom.
Tripgays hate it? Gonna buy one now.
fat
Bad luck mostly.
Its a relatively expensive gun that missed out on the SCAR trials advertisement or being featured in any video games or TV shows like the Masada/ACR were.
So it ended up in a limbo of being popular enough to stick around and be liked, but never breaking through to mass popularity or being known.
>or being featured in any video games or TV shows like the Masada/ACR were.
It was in Uncharted 4
Small shop, long wait times due to JIT manufacturing, not much marketing because they are already slammed with orders. It seems like their barrel supplier is a limiting factor.
They had some early QC issues and the owner liked to argue with people online which might have turned some people off. Not much of an issue now.
It's my favorite carbine. A step above the AR in ergos and reliability in shitty conditions.
These things look good in short form. Kind of excited for the PCC version
>magpul and bushnell
You can see where the budget ran out
Bushnell aside there is literally nothing wrong with Magpul products
You missed the mag
I just saved it because you don't find pics of the short version with a can often
Lancers cost more than PMAGs even though they aren’t as reliable
Yeah but the pros are better
Lancers aren’t bad. I bought a couple for my 450 Bushmaster. The plastic doesn’t feel as durable as Magpul but I haven’t had any reliability/durability problems so far (in 5.56 or 450)
Most common complaint seems to be double feeds
>tfw have some lancers but basically never use them
I have a mess of (likely stolen) USGIs I got cheap as frick and replaced the followers with magpuls, I always reach for those when I shoot my ARs
It's everything I want from a firearm, but sadly near unobtainium in Europe. There's apparently one importer on the whole continent and they're in France, and France is notoriously shitty about selling guns to foreign customers
>the EU is about free trade and movement of goods
>but not guns you fricking terrorist
Because Trudeau banned them by name
Wait times, uncertainty over whether the company would stick around, the loss in the SCAR competition. Sucks, because it’s a fantastic rifle.
Because they only make half of a single rifle per year.
Becauase they're finally going to close up shop after King Trudeau banned their rifles.
If he was mein Fuhrer I'd have purpose for sure
got any pictures of it in тhe future when the stocks broken the rails are dented and chipped the grip is deteriorated magwel scratched to shit paint missing and sights replaced and broken for the 5th times in its life, flash suppressor thick and grey from caked on lead and carbon also dented sights lost and or broken years ago
>That thing is a pices of shit dude where you find it in your dead uncles closet?
Well mine is like 12yrs old but it's not that bad yet
Because AR-18s kinda suck besides for a few niche uses.
The XCR is one of the few modern rifles that's not an AR-18 you dip shit.
Both wrong and moronic
As if calling all short strokes AR-18s wasn't bad enough, now long strokes are AR-18s too. Blow your brains out you fricking moron.
Its got no boots!
I personally would have ordered the XCR in 308. At $2600, that's kind of surprising considering I can easily see it being $3000.
But the lead time on rifles AND SPARE PARTS is very off putting. The canadian ban probably doesn't help the company either.
The leaf ban should free up some factory space to make guns for amerifats.
Why tf wouldn't you just spend $500 more and get a SCAR, a superior rifle. Fricking morons I swear to god
>replace stock immediately
>replace optic every 500 rounds
>barrel replacement/swap costs 6 gorillion dollars
>adding nrch cost a grand
>can’t warranty it because you put a suppressor on it
yeah I wonder why
>replace stock immediately
No
>replace optic every 500 rounds
No again
>barrel replacement/swap costs 6 gorillion dollars
After 50k rounds the cost of a new barrel is nothing
>adding nrch cost a grand
Then don't. Just buy the nrch model.
You should be banned for posting fuddlore
>need to buy gas jet to pair with suppressor like a good boy so you don't make FN mad
You don't need to do that. Should you? Yes, but it's not a need.
>needs certain SCAR rated mount and optics or else the recoil impulse will destroy them
Yes. This issue doesn't exist on the nrch models. Why would you even buy crap optics in the first place though.
>I'd rather add another $500 and get an HK MR762
Why would you do that if the xcr is so good? I think in actuality you are lying through your teeth.
>this issue doesn’t exist on the nrch models
Why wouldn’t it lmao? It’s the size of the bolt carrier/piston assembly that causes the problem, did they redesign those parts 20 years after the fact?
>Why would you do that if the xcr is so good? I think in actuality you are lying through your teeth.
I'm not the one slurping up Robinson semen left and right here. You're the one hyping up the SCAR here. Did you forget that or are you getting brain damage from choking on too much of FN's wiener AND paying to suck it?
>You don't need to do that. Should you? Yes, but it's not a need.
yes you do or else you will crack the PLASTIC end plate that holds everything in the receiver and the stock and if you swap it to an aluminum endplate it fricks up the gun
>$2600+$500=$3500??
>pay $3500
>void warranty if you use suppressor
>need to buy gas jet to pair with suppressor like a good boy so you don't make FN mad
>needs certain SCAR rated mount and optics or else the recoil impulse will destroy them
You're paying fricking $3500 in order to pay more, I'd rather add another $500 and get an HK MR762 or say frick it and save for an SR-25. There's a line between flexing and just paying top $ to get fricked in the ass.
>add another $500 and get an HK MR762
lol, the only places I've physically seen them, they've been in their own league price wise. First result on google has it for more than 2x the price of a SCAR. SR25 is no better. Maybe you were just mindbroken by squid like the rest of /k/. Feel free to post your $7k rifle though.
Should I sbr? Yes or no? If so, what should I go for? 11.5ish?
I find 12" to be pretty comfy, outside of 300blk. You get the full length gas system, a couple inches to eliminate port pop, and decent velocity for 5.56. You can always go shorter or get custom length for a specific application. The hand guard is a bit small for burying a can.
When you said “full length gas system” I assumed you meant mid and had a stroke. Is 11.5 known for port pop?
>Robinson arms thread
I get to post it again, it's time

Looks like I missed some drama since I had barely bought my first AR15 back then, and eventually stopped screwing around with crap and got a SCAR, but this is gold.
Was going to order a 308 version but the 6+ month lead time put me off, built an ar-10 instead. Neat looking rifle though.
Ah time to bump this
Hey XCRbro, does the XCR have a free floating firing pin?
No it's captured by a spring, which is overcome by the hammer
Thank you!
This is the best pic I have handy
If you look at the round thingy at the base of the bolt, that contains the firing pin spring and roll pin which captures the firing pin. The small pin below it captures the whole assembly in the bolt
>3 thousand doll hairs on an AK
>Not a 553
Oof.
Lets see Paul Allen's sig import with barrel swaps, monolithic receiver and adjustable gas
>Ecosystem doesn't matter
>LMAO where is SIGs ecosystem?
There's legitimately more 55x guns and barrels from chopped parts kits in country than the total production run of XCRs. Doesn't matter since like two people in country have actually done the swap/are competent enough to do so.
It's a shame Robinson didn't follow through with their Swiss police contracts and add improvements to the gun based on their feedback. We'd have probably gotten a bad ass B&T knockoff if they got traction with the only people who have them a chance rather than giving them the bird.
B&T APC is a SCAR knockoff
I know. They also have a 416 clone coming soon. An XCR clone would be nice.
Yeah, but where's yours?
What Swiss improvements?
Tube is in the oprod my man
I'd rather have a PSA Jakl than this dumpster fire.
Kek
Heavy, not particularly accurate, lots of iterative updates, and a less-than-robust barrel attachment system
Get a cvlife for your psa bro
I dislike the right-folding buttstock.
Russian Black folk got it correct by folding to the left.
Everyone else, not so much.
I suppose the XCR gets a pass because the charging handle is on the left.
I just coped so much about not being able to fold my stock that I started to like it.
I enjoy the tube. DI? Tube. Piston? Still got the tube. Blowback? Still need dat tube, man, that mass has to go somewhere. Delayed blowback? Well of course the design has to make use of the tube. Don't fold your rifle, let it have the tube.
It's ok, but there are better options. If I could go back in time to when I bought it, I probably would've got a pof p308 for $1200 when they were getting discontinued. Alex Robinson is a fricking Black person, and that combined with the lack of 3rd party support is the primary reason to avoid. REPR much cooler. IL4DD is a pedophile.
