Depends on the gun. The superior P99 has one.

The P99 was a retard design. "Durr let's make our striker gun DA/SA for no reason that'll be cool".

    I don't get it, what's a decocker?

In some guns like the Beretta M9, you have a hammer which you can optionally "cock" back into position ready to fire with a small trigger pull. The "safety lever" on the M9 is also called the "Decocking Lever" because it puts the weapon on safe while dropping the hammer into a non-cocked position.

OP is a retard and trying to make a pun about Glock owners not having cocks or something. What OP doesn't understand is that no matter if the gun has a Striker system or a Hammer system, it's the same 9mm Parabellum bullets slamming into his own skull as he is consumed by his porn addiction.

Glock handguns do not have a manual decocking mechanism because they are designed to be carried in a condition of readiness to fire, with the striker cocked and the safety off. Glock handguns are equipped with a "Safe Action" system, which uses a combination of a partially-tensioned striker and a trigger safety to help prevent accidental discharges. The Safe Action system allows the user to carry the gun safely with the striker partially tensioned, but it requires the user to manually lower the striker when they want to decock the gun. To do this, the user must first remove the magazine and ensure that the chamber is empty, then pull the trigger to release the striker. This is a somewhat unusual feature for a semi-automatic handgun, but it is a key element of the Glock's design and contributes to its reputation for simplicity and reliability.

Sounds hard. Here me out: we make it single action, don't implement redundant safety mechanisms, and then have the customers beta test it

The Makarov is a DA/SA with safety and decocker. But fewer parts.
Seems like Gaston wasn't even trying.

    They do.
It's called releasing the trigger before the gun fires.
