Why doesn't Ukraine just start pushing into Russia?

Why doesn't Ukraine just start pushing into Russia?

There's literally nothing stopping Ukraine from just capturing Belgorad, and at that point Russia would just have to give up and frick off

Russia will never use nukes, probably doesn't even have working ones

west will spazz out and gibs will dry up

Highly doubtful, and even if the West did cut support, Ukraine would BTFO Russia on its own as we've seen

      >this moron wants a even larger front-line with far more logistic problem
      >to capture a military useless city with a huge political fallout
      >le-stalin.jpg
      Ok moron

Capturing Belgorad would literally capitulate the Russian Army, it would cause a 1991 situation in Russia

Ukraine doesn't suffer from logistical problems, Russia does, Ukraine has done just fine working on multiple fronts

Ukraine's main desire is gonna be to kick out the invaders with their limited number of people.
Regardless of mere logistics they still are limited by people and have specific goals and needs to attend to and WANT to attend to first.
They got occupied land and kidnapped civilians.
That is what is driving this war.
No one is going to turn away from that to take some russian shithole.

They're waiting for Russia to fall apart after they lose the war, then it will be easy to allow some border towns to run referendums to legally join Ukraine.

Why? As an American from California Oblast, I John Smith would fully support them invading Russia, and have been calling my representatives to say as such. I am thoroughly moralized.
In fact I want all of NATO to get involved and just end this shit show to save Ukrainian and Russian lives. Russia blatantly cannot defend itself anymore, there is no army kept in reserve on defense as demonstrated by the parade. The Polish army alone could take Moscow right now (again)

Don't have to. Just ride into Belgorod, proclaim a Belgorod People's Republic and show Russia that they can't even defend their own national borders anymore.

The Russians do actually suspect that, and may just nook in desperation. Belarus on the other hand is very susceptible to an overthrow, less fortified, has no nooks, have given a lot of their ammo to russia, andvery low morale. As funny I think colonel potatoman is, it would be is the easiest target if a new front was to be opened up

          >What if they buy a few from North Korea?
          1. They would need money for that
          2. North Korea wouldn't risk selling them their own ace in the hole and making themselves an enemy of the world for a failing untrustworthy "ally"
          3. They would still need to logistic it all the way to effective launching range without getting intercepted or spotted by foreign intel

          It's just not possible.

Invading Russia is obviously less strategically beneficial than liberating own territories, but they should totally plant a flag in some Russian border town to make Russians shift troops from key locations to reinforce the whole length of the border or risk further humiliation.

    >Why doesn't Ukraine just start pushing into Russia?
Because despite all of Russia's whining about 'muh evil NATO acting aggressively!" NATO has only ever treated the Russians with kid gloves and done everything not to provoke them. From Bush Sr. telling Ukraine in the 90's not to break away from the Soviet Union, to NATO not outright declaring war on them during the invasion of Crimea, which was a direct violation of the Budapest Memorandum.

It's funny how everyone forgets that Ukraine had nuclear weapons that it voluntarily gave up in exchange for security guarantees against invasion by both the USA and Russia. Which shows that any other nations with nuclear weapons or the capability to produce them are now extra incentivized to not only build them but never give them up.

    >INB4 they didn't have access to the detonation codes
Irrelevant, everyone agreed to the conditions of the memorandum. Russia backslide on it.

I've been saying they should send one of them groups of dodgy anti Putin russians and let them go have a party across the border.
Put up some Free Russia flag and shit talk Putin on video. Make a point to say they are not anti Russia they are only anti Putin. Just the humiliation would get Monke to divert a bunch of troops to the wrong Frontline.

They don't have the manpower. Don't get me wrong, it's impressive that they're pushing the Russians back, but they can't "just do it faster". They have to move slowly to conserve their forces.

The foreign support, and I don't mean the gibs that are publicly announced. In case of Ukraine turning irredentist said support would immediately become a huge ball-and-chain for them, except the ball is also a bomb.
