I feel like Luka has to be a good enough strategist to turn around even a full on russian invasion so he wins. There's no way in hell he's just been lucky so far.

Invade through what? Prypiat marshes? There are like 2.5 roads in that area and 2 railroads. Already shit Russian logistics would collapse anywhere deeper then 50km from the border.

People say this as if Poland doesn't have anything to say in the matter of hostile powers blocking our access to a sovereign partner state.

We're in this war in all respects but official manpower and that's barely good enough. You think we're gonna stand idly by as some surprise detachment of Russian remnants or Luka's potato army ravages Lwów and blocks our border? Yeah, nah.

      Anonymous

      Yeah, yeah.
International law hardly gives one an excuse to join the war if they can't access their neighbour. If it did, it'd sstill be a bad idea to do so without tanks.

This whole affair has nothing to do with international law, mistakes and misunderstandings happen if you escalate an already tense situation. And Poland has more tanks relatively to the enemy power on the other side of the border than it did before this war thanks to Russia pulling everything to Ukraine.

They can't even supply the conscripts they're sending to Belarus. They just ship in truckloads of men and dump them in the fields, no tents, no sleeping bags, no nothing. He doesn't have an invasion force ready to attack from the Belarus, he has a refugee crisis, the one thing he's been good at creating his entire career, besides dead Russians.

Luka has witnessed once that invading Ukraine from his country did not work. He has also witnessed later events. Ukraine has about 45 million citizens (although maybe less than 40 million inhabitants at the moment). Belarus has 10 million. That may make him less than eager to support another invasion attempt.
