kek i've always wondered if public schools had an under-the-table deal with texas instruments. my calc classes were very anal about only allowing ti-83/ti-84 graphing calculators. fricking things should only be 20 bucks, tops.
No idea, but I picked this up at an estate sale in the boonies for fifty bucks. It says Winchester and I'm an idiot when it comes to shotguns, did I do well /k/?
looks like a very pretty 1897 with an incredibly finish on it, hunt around for the serial when you get the chance and find out how old it is. I've got one from 1900

that refinish job looks like shit.
Oh shit. So it's a trench shotgun. Nice, going to look it up now. The guy whose estate sale i went to was 104 when he passed. Saw it and fell in love.
no it isnt 'the trench shotgun' you have a different version.
What else do you pay $1000 for? No hobby has items that are over $1k, and bear in mind most basic guns are pushing over $1,500 now. What other hobbyists are paying out the ass for a small, simple to manufacture item as we are? Again, these are the newest cutting edge tech photography cameras or anything, these are 70 year old gun designs. Gunpowder era tech lmao.
>What else do you pay $1000 for? >No hobby has items that are over $1k
Lots of things? Cars? Computers? This is such a stupid question.
>and bear in mind most basic guns are pushing over $1,500 now
That isn't true at all. Glock 17, Springfield 1911, Ruger 10/22, M&P-15, WASR, Mossberg 590, Ruger American, Ruger Redhawk/Blackhawk, Smith & Wesson 640, etc. None of these guns are going at $1000 unless you're being scammed like frick, let alone $1500, and most are $600 or even way less.
yeah
Frick ya mudda
I spent $350 for mine.
A Colt Sporter1 manufactured in 1968.
Everything since 1984 production is Fake and Gay.
Suck it...seethe, cope, and dilate.
>Colt Sporter1
sorry we all cant be boomers
it's ok, sonny boah
Unfathomably based
This, but unironically
>tfw bought a Saiga when they were $300 and the cheapest POS AR was $700
>tfw bought an AR when they were $300 and the cheapest POS AK was $700
Ya gotta know when to hold em, know when to fold em!
People think paying more means a better product when in fact it's just the same product.
>My PSA is justasgood as that Daniel Defense
I didn’t pay $1000. I paid $2000.
Why do people pay $90 for a calculator that has been mass produced for almost three decades?
kek i've always wondered if public schools had an under-the-table deal with texas instruments. my calc classes were very anal about only allowing ti-83/ti-84 graphing calculators. fricking things should only be 20 bucks, tops.
100% a scam.
>why do people have more money than me
cry more
No idea, but I picked this up at an estate sale in the boonies for fifty bucks. It says Winchester and I'm an idiot when it comes to shotguns, did I do well /k/?

You seem upset.
>cant refute the point
>resort to name calling
ok
If you think that’s bad wait until you see what they charge for high-mid end optics
because they're morons who have fallen prey to the sunk cost fallacy.
Because $1000 isn't a lot of money.
Greed has taken over the hearts and stupidity has taken over the minds of modern men.
I don't think $1000 for a nice rifle is bad.

>No hobby has items that are over $1k
Uh nice heads for a motor are like 5k each and most engines take 2
Whoa, next you're going to tell me boating and airplanes are expensive hobbies!
Inflated process because tou morons keep paying it. Yeah automotive tech isn't new or cutting edge either, that shit should cost $100.
*inflated prices
Ok anon. Go create a manufacturing plant that can make engines capable of outputting 300hp and will last at least 200k miles all for $100. Go on.
>What else do you pay $1000 for?

>w-wait. not THAT hobby
frick ya mudda
Do poorgays really?
>haha I just paid $1000 for a gun so they could up the price to $1100 knowing morons like me will still buy it
And now we're up to $1,500 because of you morons. How much more moronic are you gonna go? $2k per gun? $3k?
If you think that's bad, look at the AK market
True, but AKs were never mass produced in the states like ARs.
This is a stupid argument. F150 are mass produced too.
