They put in an order for RPG-5s but due to a translation error, Russia sent them a bunch of copies of Skyrim. They couldn't even play them because the Union had ordered a blockade of all consoles
IIRC the RPG-2 was exclusively anti-tank, they didn't have any dual-purpose or anti personnel rockets. And I don't think Union tanks were much of a threat during the civil war.
Wow, a whole handful of ships which weren't very effective to begin with. I'm sure taking those out with RPGs would have turned the tide of the war in one fell swoop.
They tried rockets back then, BTW, but considered them largely worthless except for scaring horses.
I like how questions like OP can be answered by actual historical documentation >"Why didn't they-"
They probably did, and it sucked, which is why you aren't hearing about it
They did make the first military submarine, so why not an RPG?
So the union is full of consolefags? Way to make the CSA sound better than possible
Yes, but the CSA was full of Linux autists, so their gaming options severely lagged the Union.
Few people know this, but Lincoln decided to declare war after Davis kept sending him telegrams to "install Gentoo"
CSA had basically already lost the war from the start as the entire West collapsed. Lee just kept the fight going by smashing Yankee armies as all the best officers were with him.

Then why didnt the CSA just pirate Skyrim on PC?
The pirates were too busy working as privateers for either side
>Skyrim
they should of sent Sims cards

Russia must be getting epically recked south of Robotyne.
They couldn't even crank out 1850's era rifled muskets, how are they supposed to make rocket propelled grenades from post-WW2

>union tanks
>when no one clarified it has to be land tanks.
>CSA RPG teams sink Union Monitors at the battle of Mobile bay, 1864, colorised.

Shooting bazookas at ironclads is alt-history I didn't even know I want

because rockets sucked back then. There would be several times more risk to the guy firing the thing than the target.
>because rockets sucked back then
Team Rocket was always more of a comic relief character than anything else
here's the RPG-2 (1804) bro
the serious answer is that the program to develop the RPG-2 localized equivalent was slow due to a lack of funding and resources for production.

please, if you think your "absurdist" answer is actually absurd please as a historian first.
They spent all the money in manors and luxury boats, and really didn't care much about sending poor fags without proper training or weapons.
CSA had basically already lost the war from the start as the entire West collapsed. Lee just kept the fight going by smashing Yankee armies as all the best officers were with him.
All they really needed was AK-47s
OP, please, jump in front of a truck and isekai yourself to take this information to the Confederacy
If only...
