fpbp except Arabs don' consider /misc/estinians Arab because they are even worse, they're only combat effective against unarmed women, children, and the elderly

So whatever happend with those fucking tunnels under Gaza? I was told tunnels were unbeatable and that Israel was gonna take heavy losses, and then Hamas got btfo anyway. Was that all a meme or something?

Turns out that when you have bunker busters, ground penetrating radar, and 24/7 overwatch you don't really need to fight in a tunnel.

Because the Hebrews have a modern military and Sand People cannot into war.

Because they are actually going up against a modern military. Drones are useless against an enemy that has EW and also other counter measures against drones and also air superiority.

    >manpads
jet fighters dont get close enough to be in danger, if fired on they pop flares automatically. drones are too high and not hot enough to be tracked. also anyone aiming a manpad out in the open gets blasted
    >rpg7 ,
rpg doesnt work on tanks, armor blocks em on the old ones and APS blocks em on the new ones, kornet gets blocked by aps and is very big and heavy, if you put it in the open it gets bombed and if you put it inside a building its very limited
    >tunnels
those do work to a degree as in most hamas are not dead now only because of tunnels. they cant be used to attack idf because idf blow up and block the tunnel entrences in the places they go
    >multirotr
    idf shoot them, jam them

also the vast majority of idf casualties are from mines hidden in buildings, tunnel entrences, under roads

Gaza is just a single city of 2 million people. They're hemmed in by a much more powerful national force equipped with tanks, helos, and fighter jets. The Israeli ROE seem pretty loose, and collateral damage or civilian deaths seem to be a feature rather than a bug. Honestly it's kind of impressive Hamas was even able to pull of their Oct 7th raid in the first place given the alleged quality of surveillance and intelligence aimed at such relatively small area. Nothing Israel has done so far has been particularly impressive, they're fighting double digit IQ retards. The Six Day War could be called impressive, and a war even. This is a glorified SWAT operation.

For perspective, Gaza City is only fucking 18 square miles. Truly a war for the history books.

No, Gaza City is one city of many within the Gaza Strip. These have grown together into three separate urban agglomerations around the principal cities of Gaza City, Rafah, and Khan Younis, so it's fair to say it's three bigger cities now. The total area of the strip is 141 square miles.

nice try moving the goal posts
yeah blockading gaza and limiting anything that can go out or in for decades has made it an easy fight.

It wasn't a coincidence. Bibi has funded Hamas for years. Mossad knew the attack was coming. It was too large scale and coordinated for them not to have. They allowed them in. 1500 hippies and settlers in return for being given international carte blanche to glass Palestine? Pretty easy trade, politically speaking.

mossad doesnt even deal with gaza but nice try

You would have to be a 68 Iq product of regressive cousinfucking to believe that Bibi wanted this scale of attack to happen. A huge part of his appeal to Israeli conservatives has been his government’s ability to project security

Power and security are different things. Bibi promoted a powerful Israel. Not a safe one. His parties numbers are going to skyrocket just like the GOPs did after 9/11, because revenge is a helluva drug.

why the fuck would they use a rpg drop from a big expensive drone instead of using a kamikaze drone for the same effect?

Hundreds of billions of cumulative US taxpayer dollars.

    My retard take:
The Gaza power shutoff also shutoff their cell network, and the only successful drone drop was done with a stolen Israeli sim card. Most cell phones dont use sim cards so drone drops became a dead end.
Israelis were able to tap into the Hamas network infrastructure which let them map out the basics of the tunnel network. It wouldn't help figure out where the tunnels are but would let them know when bombing cut off a tunnel.

The goal wasn't to lure the IDF in to kill them. It was to lure the IDF in to get yourselves killed and play the victim card in front of normies in the world. And it works. Everybody talks about muh humanitarian situashon. Oh no, not the the little dindus in the hospital.

cargo cult syndrome - we have made things that look similar to things that work but we don't know why they are effective so they don't work as well as the real thing - or we do not how to use them effectively... lots of inbreeding will do that in due time...
