Except they're not. They're all more mechanically complicated on the inside. I'm still waiting for a simpler gun than a Glock. I shoot multiple times a week and really take my guns outdoor and put use and abuse. I love easy to clean and nothit beats the Glock in that department.

Since contracts are not as freely given out, people were forced to develop striker fired guns, and a good chunk of them have far surpassed Glock in either price-to-ability or just ability-and-quality. You get a Glock now either because you are a fanboy, you were told to get one buy your no gunz friends/family, or you actually care about the aftermarket (which in that case you can just get a PDP, VP9, or really any striker gun that costs more than the Glock)
A lot of agencies only adopt them because of their plain looks, it matches uniforms. Other manufacturers need to stop marketing to the Punisher shirt wearing crowd and just make a plain gun.
