Why are countries so against steroids/sarms in the military? They spend so much money on jets and tanks you'd expect they would embrace making their soldiers stronger/faster, not weaker

>guy can’t get his steroid dose in the field
>goes nuts and Chris Benoits his whole squad
Unlike Chris Benoit, most enlisted don't get constant concussions and CTE
actually the opposite would be the case
if you had to go too long without your roids, your test levels would crater to 0 and then (maybe, hopefully) slowly recover back to normal over several months
suicide would be more likely than extreme aggressiveness
Because we're not poking or swinging metal by hand anymore? There's already PT, that's enough. Notice how a lot of spec ops coolguys doing infantry shit are lanklets? It's not about muscle mass, but endurance.
Normal exercise makes men strong without any risk of hormonal side effects or roid rage.
The only practical military use of roids is boosting recovery time for old men in the infantry/SF and since roids boost muscles more than tendons, and tendons are the weakpoint, the effect is minor and easily fails without an educated, moderate user.
>tendons are the weakpoint
Good point. Has anyone experimented with giving soldiers more isometric training?
What's the tactical advantage of a smaller sack?
less like to get blasted by shrapnel when you step on a landmine
the only people who need to roid in the military are MPs, and they totally do
>Big muscle rage monsters are better soldiers!
Its a damn good thing you aren't in charge.
Ironically they might have fewer crippled disabled veterans if they gave them some roids in the service.
Yea they get some back pain and some lost testosterone but at least the fuckers could keep their joints.
Because the effects on mood, disposition, rational decision making, health complications and supply are not worth the theoretical improvement in one aspect of soldiering.
Because performance enhancement is seen as cheating and the society wide stigma. That's literally it.
People bring up risks like people coming out of them and getting depression but that's not the reason. Military is full of risky things and the risks are managed. Protocols are made to so that guns and explosives are handled safely. Same could be done with steroids, and other performance enhancers. But there is refusal to even engage with performance enhancement because of the stigma.
everything has its risks
Quality post.
>Because performance enhancement is seen as cheating and the society wide stigma. That's literally it.
Retard. Roided out morons with massive muscle mass have shit endurance because their muscles burn a lot of oxygen at once and their lungs can't keep up.
There is zero utility in the military for people like these, and the fact that their body's own hormonal production is irreversibly compromised (affecting their performance over any long deployment) only adds to the reasons why it's not allowed.
It's the same reason you won't allow your troops to stuff their noses full of meth in combat outside of very specific cases (go and no-go pills for combat/strategic bomber pilots etc). The adverse effects far outweigh the benefits.
t. had a professional bodybuilder in the unit, he struggled to pass PFT every year.
>Roided out morons with massive muscle mass have shit endurance because their muscles burn a lot of oxygen at once and their lungs can't keep up.
Tell this to professional boxers.
Its what guy said. It works great but its frowned against so its done under the carpet.
>Tell this to professional boxers.
How much running in full battle rattle do boxers generally have to do during a fight, retard?
are you retarded?
they fuck around taking breaks every few minutes while nearly naked.
thats a little fucking different from a soldier dipshit.
It doesn't have to like that. I would give a therapeutic dose for those with lower range of t. Doesn't have it be self administered. Have there be bunch of controls and screening.
It is because it has a stigma. Why are there programs to make better weapons but no programs to make less risky more effective performance enhancers, not talking just physical performance but also mental.
If rifle sucks there will be a program to will be a program to make a better rifle.
When the performance enhancer sucks, there should be a program to make better ones, no? But there isn't because stigma.
stigma balls in your mouth
They don't really provide enough of a benefit to be worth the cost/issues involved.
Where is the multi billion dollar darpa program to come up with molecule to create the super soldier?
It's not there because of the stigma.
I was under the impression that steroid usage was widespread and essentially tolerated among burger SOF. Is that not the case?
Did CZ make that?
Roids are for retarded gays. Addicts junkies with anger issues. Spastics dopes, morons. No one needs retard rage fits and withdrawal in the army. Police should be tested for them and dismissed. People who used these things are worthless wretched idiots that are actually retarded.
half of my ranger unit was on test e
there’s been a war on testosterone for some time. Those men wouldn’t need steroids if they were unshackled from xenoestrogens, seed oils, söy, and other hormone disrupters. Fun fact, they can’t filter out the extra estrogen from female pee in the water supply. women take birth control pills, piss an estrogen cocktail down the drain, then people slurp it on up after it’s been treated. Proper form during running and other exercises, real food, clean water, and getting women out of the military would greatly benefit the average grunt. I only care about whites, so tyrone and carlos aren’t considered here, but they would also benefit greatly.
Mormons are the high command
They don't want free thinking high test soldiers, they want people to man a drone or play mall cop in a sandbox
