Whew, that congress meeting sure was something.

They affirmed their goal of PEACEFUL reunification.
Unless we manufacture a crisis, there won’t be a war. And that’s a good thing.

policy and posture must be stated well beforehand. This is the norm. The Chinese have always abided by this.
You're too dumb to broach this topic. Shut your mouth.

Chinks lie. They're basically little yellow Russians when it comes to telling the truth
The fact that they say they want peaceful reunification has no bearing on their actual plans for Taiwan
Since peaceful reunification with mainland china is completely impossible so long as it remains an authoritarian state, a military attack on the island is inevitable and will likely occur in the next 5 years (once old m8 xingers starts feeling his age)

Didn't they literally say they'd NEVER swear off use of force for reunification? What sort of chink propaganda you listening to?

        Anonymous

you have to read in between the lines when the chinks say anything
"we will never swear that we will never use force" sounds a lot like "we're not going to grovel to the us in the face of their overwhelming military superiority but we're not suicidal either"

    >Bigger than Raptor with less internal weaponry, crappy engines, and they have less of them than we have F-35s for training.

I'm no expert, but wouldn't canards comprise stealth?

      Yes.

Not if it didn't have stealth to begin with. They can market it as stealth, but this choice of canards proves it's never really going to be, China most modern full blue prints they have stole is gripen or eurofighter, so it's going with proving it can manufacture those first, and just incorporate a few the simple features of American stealth

Their domestic version of the Su-27, the Chinese family of Flankers are probably better than the original line at this point.

It's a platform for long range AAM's to snipe US bombers, AWACs, tankers, and maybe an F15 if pilot is asleep at the controls. Basically a modern version of the Tomcat + Phoenix missile concept. It's probably as stealthy as it needs to be so it isn't detected and shot down at a distance.
