Where are the western ATGMs they had captured? Did they really send them all to Iran?

        Anonymous

What ATGMs, they've barely captured any? You need thousands of them spread out over the whole battlefield to ensure you have them where you need them defensively. The western ones aren't cheap either, they can't just source them from some third party. Russia has every motivation in the book to demonstrate capturing some and all we've seen is 4-5+ anti-tank weapons (2 X Panzerfaust 3's and 2 X NLAW + possible ammo containers for some 84MM). They also have some (4-5) empty launchers (84MM and Javelin) in propaganda. They even got caught claiming the same launchers + ammo multiple times and claiming to have captured them from multiple locations. They were clearly the same ones as evidenced by unique damage and markings.

They seem to straight up not have any. There is another video of the Ukies storming a Russian trench line with a M113 and T72. Russians were just shooting at both of them with their AKs. Pretty ridiculous to see.

Now imagine if they had two troop carries with the tank and killed off everyone in the trenches.

Or... the ukies are happy with their defensive line how it is, and just sent a tank to blast the russians to push them out of their foremost trench, without intention of occupying it themselves for multiple reasons (next russian trench too close, large field to cross to resupply it, not in line with other defensive position allowing a risk of flanking etc).
Best thing is the russians will probably send a few more meat there again, still without AT. And the tank can eat again tomorrow.

I did notice quite a few videos thiose past days of trenh clearing by ukies. Is it preparation work for a later offensive or are they at the tip of the prongs trying to encircle Bakhmut to reduce the danger on the supply lines?

They’re in communication with the drone operator, it helps them with situational awareness and fainting targets/avoiding threats. Maybe they even have a video feed in the tank

      Anonymous

The drone operator needs to keep eyes on the tank for two reasons: One so he can keep oriented and doesn't lose track of it- he's going to be giving info relative to the position of the tank so he needs to know its location and which way it's pointed. Two is that tanks have really poor visibility of their immediate surroundings, he needs to keep an eye on its flanks as the tank can easily drive right by infantry and not see them.

Oh and three they're obviously filming the tank for a video why do you think they're flying a big-ass Ukrainian flag? You think that's standard kit?

its like the intro to a European arthouse movie.

    Trapped meat
the movie tells the story of a family near the line of contact to Russia, Vlad the father is a forest management specialist and hunter. That tries to get nature reserve funding from the EU to protect the local biosphere. But is blocked by the local politics. After the war breaks out, he uses his skills to poach and keep his family alive, while they decide what to do since the grandparents with light dementia don't want to flee. While the kids are pro western and want to go.
On his poaching trips in the heavy winter fogs he sees animals killed, nature destroyed, old trenches, garbage. Only the wild dogs are fat. He still keeps going now, supplying many people in his village. After a lunchtime fight about if they should leave as the front is closing in again, he drinks before going to the reserve to hunt but just spend time sobering up and staring at the fog rolling through.
He wakes up from his alcoholic nap, it's very late afternoon, it starts to get dark. A dangerous time due to all the wild dogs, As he is about to leave he hears a voice, a familiar voice, it is the local politician Grigoriy. As he is about to call out to them, he can hear what they are talking about. Grigoriy is telling secrets to someone, for money and power. Even building over the destroyed biosphere. He levels his rifle at the foggy outlines and shoots the first drops, the second too, Gregory is still alive and screaming. He walks up to them, a now dead soldier and Grigoriy gravely injured.

      Anonymous

He cried out for help, that he's his friend. But Vlad just rips the document bag from his should and takes the stuff from the soldier and his radio and gun and start to walk away. As he does, Grigoriy insult him an threatens to kill him. One more shot rings out. Grigoriy was shot once more now has a deep wound in his upper thigh too. he is mouth open agape. Vlad disappears into the fog as dogs bark and howl in the distance.
on the way back be meets troops that almost shoot him, but they are Ukrainian. as hes almost past them he gives the last officer the documents and walks off into the fog again. The officer looks at the enemy documents with blood on them and nods.
the family is now leaving with a convoy, they watch as the Ukrainian troops head towards the foggy weather as explosions a heard in the distance.

its not a real question, it's meant to forward a narrative and the question mark and preamble are designed to make the hamfisted narrative slightly less hamfisted.

Zelenski speaking Russian doesn't erase the fact that the region didn't want to be a part of the Russian empire such that it had to be cajoled and taken piecemeal over years, needed a protracted Russification policy to passivate (still developing their own culture in the meantime), left as soon as they could and fought to stay out in the 1917 revolution, fricked on papa Stalin during the collective farming push, produced a large portion of nationalist fighters for the Nazis of all people during WWII, amd then immediately voted to leave the union as soon as it was feasible in the 90s. Besides all that, the "native" Russian speakers in the east being a casus beli for war is a terrible international precedent to set being as how they're there because Stalin ethnically cleansed problematic groups there and in Crimea 100 years ago.

There is a difference between discussion and allowing morons to shit up the board by mass samegayging entire threads with irrelelvant bullshit.
You are not free here, you will generally post on topic or tangentally to the topic or you will be removed. Other conversation is fine too within on topic threads, but it becomes a problem when you start making offtopic threads about it, or your sperg out spans several schizo posts about irelevant bullshit that noone is even replying to other than to tell you to frick off.

I know literal schizos that get mad when the get banned off of servers after talking non stop with themselves for days flooding a server, come back with an alt, get banned again in an hour after an admin realised who he was, repeat for literally three years till the server admin basically whitelisted the place till he went away.
He still came back after 6 months of whitelist when it came back down, so they effectively created a shadowban system just to deal with him and him alone lmao.

He is probably talking to himself to this day on that server.

The USA violated their sovereignty in 2014 with the color revolution. But Russia invading only makes the post-Maidan government more popular and with more legitimacy among the populace. So Russia shot themselves in the foot by doing this invasion in the first place, ignoring all the ways they've shot themselves in the foot tactically and operationally during the invasion

lol yeah if you they can resurrect all the military age men and bring all the women who fled Zelenski is going to sail to reelection next time, what do you think his opponent would be, how many opposing political parties exist and are legal in The Ukraine?

You fricked up. Playing denial games on a public forum doesn't undo your frickup. You had a perfect setup to challenge their legitimacy, and you threw it all away with this war. Dumbass. And I was on your side at first because of the maidan shenanigans, but you and your country have done everything possible to destroy yourselves and ruin your opportunities. Now I just watch and enjoy people I don't know killing each other. Great job Ivan.
