Lol. Lmao. Kek, even.
too modern cant lock onto old SU
Isn't F-22 80s tech or something
>modern tech cannot lock onto legacy platforms dude just trust me a ww1 biplane is stealth
Go back Sprey.
moron the APG77v1 can tell the difference between a T-72 and a BMP and target both from 72 km at 50’000 ft . I don’t think radarless mid-80’s airframes flying slower than a MiG-15 should be too difficult to destroy for the most capable fighter ever made.
didn't a civ in a cessna land in red square? or am i mistaken
Didn't some civs in Boeings land on the twin towers? lmao
This is probably the most epic death in all the history of that channel.
What's the context?
This is from GrowlingSidewinder, a Youtuber that plays DCS. He is in a *BVR* fight against a Raptor with a Flanker and never even manages to see him until vidrelated. Reaction is priceless. He has a lot of memeworthy reactions when he gets overconfident.
Its a shame you took a recent video and made it look like it was off of AOL.
would HE build another bridge? HE might be christened Vlad the Bridge Builder.
Are they needed? Current air (denial) situation is working in Ukraine's favour, since Ukraine can still hit targets with GMLRS.
They'd definitely be useful for blasting Russian supply points out of HIMARS range.
And russian air defence will do nothing??
theyll probably try their best.
Well, slow-moving drones have managed to penetrate Russian air space, lol.
Anon, we're talking about big ass plane now not some little drone.
Seems to me if the Russians fixated on the big scary plane, they won't notice the drone approaching, lol.
Moskva all over again.
Then you are sacrificing one plane to get a drone to pass trough. I don't think that is a good trade.
Only if the Russians can catch it first, lol. Just fly in their direction for a bit, then fly off. Stay outside of effective weapons range.
Let the drone approach from another angle entirely while everyone is looking at the plane.
Seriously, Vatniks shot down their OWN plane. They won't fire right away, they gotta confirm it is not one of their own planes first.
The approaching Ukrainian plane should hail the Russians and announce it's a friendly returning to base. Confuse them for at least a minute.
>They won't fire right away, they gotta confirm it is not one of their own planes first.
Well, they have AWAC's for that. So i guess it won't be a problem anymore.
The point is, all eyes will be on the approaching plane that is just outside of weapons range. Not on the drone flying so low to the ground, the Russians struggle to detect it.
>Let the drone approach from another angle entirely while everyone is looking at the plane.
I don't think that's how radar works anon.
Have the drone fly as low to the ground as possible. And paint Russian markings on it.
The drone isn't coming back either way.
>I don't think that's how radar works
it is exactly how radar works
Russians are primitive barbarians who think in pre-drone terms. They'll assume the plane is the threat, and point all their radars at it. They'll be scared of another Engels.
Nobody's going to be looking for an extremely low-flying drone approaching from a completely different angle.
Drone fires its own weapons, and shocks the Russians before they have time to react.
Is that also how S-300/400 radar works?
I am pretty sure i read somewhere that they have 360 degree coverage.
just like how Moskva did, amirite
Russian radar wasn't designed for drones flying extremely close to the ground.
Right now nobody owns the skies
They're needed so that Ukraine will own the sky 😉
>russian air defence
will be put in harm's way.
>when will Ukraine get western figher jets?
mark my words
They would have gotten them sooner if SWEDEN had gotten its head out of its ass. They haven't sold a Gripen in forever. Ukraine was the perfect opportunity for sales.
>will be put in harm's way.
Are you sure they have enough HARM to deal with all russian air defence system?? There is going to be a lot of them.
more platforms means more available ammunition. IlUC, west cannot provide much more javelins/155mm/HIMARS. Giving Ukraine planes means giving more PGM means more entries to the turret-tossing contest
also Ukraine may eventually run of soviet planes which means it's better to start thinking on replacements.
When Sweden grows a pair, lol.
You HAD the biggest, easiest weapons sale on Earth and you SQUANDERED it SWEDEN?!
>Bro just give up a substantial part of your air force.
They've got like 90 planes and they've been trying to SELL some of them for many years.
Sweden's just being a chickenshit.
Those we tried to sell earlier has now been integrated in our air force specifically because Putin decided to go apeshit. Any contract now would involve new production
Well hurry up! You're missing the war!
tbf you could at least try to offer to sell some, Ukraine's going to need a airforce no matter how the war ends up, so might as well swoop in for a guaranteed sale.
you seem to be a very misinformed gripen fag in that case. Saab/FMV hasn't been stockpiling J39s hoping to sell them, they've all been either sold or leased.
All Gripen A/Bs that were built has either been converted to C/D or disassembled. Maybe there's 20 or so that are mothballed - but those are sure as shit not integrated into any unit. The remaining C/Ds that've been built has served in their respective airforce for years.
Yep, and don't expect the current cuck government to do anything about it. Ulf is too busy submitting to TVRKISH BVLL to do anything.
It's fucking insane a woman as PM had more balls than this gay
What people don't understand is that BTFOing Russia right now is going to be the biggest security guarantee that any nation can take without going to war. If Russia loses it will be a 90% conscript army operating >80s technology, completely ostracised from international affairs and being reduced to a useful idiot for the Chinese. What's more, with Russia's horrible demographics, natural gas fuelled economy and chronic brain drain there will be no way to fix its problems for the foreseeable future.
This war wasn't existential in the beginning but unironically is existential now because if Russia loses Crimea and the Donbas, it will NEVER recover, guaranteeing Europe's security for decades. Thats why every European power that values its security should be sending Estonia levels of support to Ukraine to ensure they earn an unconditional victory, and as much Russian equipment and professional NCOs + Officers are lost irrevocably
>Far eastern republic not part of Siberia
>The 2030s to 2040s will see a mirrored environment of the 1930s to 1940s in Asia with the rise of a Greater Central Asian Coprosperity sphere, but led by the Chinese at the expense of Russia.
Don't get me wrong, i'm morally for sending a lot more stuff then what we already have, but due to politicians believing in eternal peace our air force is severly decapitated. One solution could be have the czech gripens together with some of our own gripens and let NATO to Czech Air Patroling until the czechs can get F-35s.
>Bro just give up a substantial part of your air force.
What do they need the air force for, you think Russia is going to suddenly decide "LMAO TIME TO ATTACK SWEDEN" while losing horribly in Ukraine?
>you think Russia is going to suddenly decide "LMAO TIME TO ATTACK SWEDEN" while losing horribly in Ukraine?
Russia is actually that stupid
>the jaw is wider than the cranium
This can never end well.
Except he took the plant in a matter of hours without causing any damage to the object and virtually no collateral in the process.
And it's still there perfectly intact after months of constant ukrainian shelling and other bullshit.
Didn't the Brazilians want to leverage their bulk Gripen acquisition and purchase of next gen Saab tech transfer to Embraer to try to jump start the FS2020 with manufacturing centered in Brazil? Why didn't Sweden just sell off some Gripens to Ukraine and then get daddy US to basically bankroll this new fighter endeavor at zero cost to them? Sweden and Brazil are both US allies but fill a weird niche that the US really doesn't in the arms market. It seems like the perfect all sides benefit international MIC transaction. So good that it's almost suHispanicious that it wasn't done. Does that mean it has been done?
That's not gonna happen.
>get daddy US to basically bankroll this new fighter endeavor at zero cost to them
because Sweden is supposed to buy F-35 from daddy US as a good little nato vassal state
the swedish arms industry will sell to literally anyone as long as it has the blessing of the US
What do you mean ? Soda and junk food and her dad died for Israel. She's living the american dream.
back you go
>Died for Israel
The same Israel in bed with Russia right now? Israel has been extremely reluctant to HELP Ukraine. They apparently "need" Russia's assistance in fucking Syria STILL.
Okay, what arms has Israel supplied Ukraine? The Merkava tank? The Iron Dome? Old captured Arab tanks?
funny your country (russia) is entirely ran by a gnomish mafia
My country is run by gnomish mafia but i'm polish.
Intel, Israeli soldiers fighting on Ukrainian side, Maxxar satellite imagery
i'd give her my fighter jet if you catch my drift
how much of a loser do you have to be to have a vid like this saved
reminder that more than 60,000 Russians have died in Ukraine
oy vey 600,000? 6,000,000 dead russians?!
At least she knew who her father was, unlike most Russians.
when ukrogays stop coping that ukraine btfo of russia when in reality it's holding on at a. very high price and needs ALL the help it can get, so never
Why not high-level bombers? Drop munitions on the fuckers.
While Strike Eagles over Ukraine vaporizing vatnik positions would be extremely kino, I feel that the money could be better spent on more artillery, rockets and guns.
Maybe in the next year, knowledgeable people said that the transfer of Patriot is a sign that the jet issue is being postponed
>Soviet Union sends state of the art fighters to North Korea and advisors to teach them how to pilot
>Advisors just end up piloting the planes themselves and flying combat missions directly against UN forces
>Hundreds of Americans are killed
>DoD knows but does nothing because they don't want to escalate further
It's long past time for us to do the same thing to them.
Agreed. But find retired pilots, and make them join the Ukrainian military formally so they can't be labeled as "Mercs". Plausible deniability.
the issue is that the russians are capable of shooting down those jets and the US does not want that technology to end up in the hands of the russians because that would put it in the hands to the chinese as well
russia is a regional threat, but china is a global adversary
sooner or later, yes
Rafale would be 10/10 kino
4 Rafale with aesa radar, 4 Talios pods, 200 MICA, a handful of Meteor and 600 AASM, would end the war by themselves.
If needed add some SCALP cruise missiles into the mix.
Pic related. The bane of the vatnik.
Doesn't really make sense until Ukraine has better ABM defense.
The current Ukrainian air force survives mostly because they aren't a highest priority target.
While it might make sense to start training pilots and maintainers on systems now (particularly because the Ukrainian AF doesn't have that much to do at 20 sorties per day), IMO supplying Ukraine with Patriot in good numbers to replace S-300 and finding more AD solutions for Ukraine makes more sense.
Also for deeper strikes into Russian controlled territory you could get ATACMs firing in about a week from now if the US was willing.
Why should they?
Russians are trying their best to make it happen
