The 2023 parade was one of the shortest ever to be held in Russian history. Alongside just 11,000 personnel in the march past segment, just less than 80 vehicles took part in the mobile column, with just a T-34/85 medium tank paraded that day, the only armored presence that year.
In addition, there was no air flypast column for the second year in a row.
