Zombies that wouldn’t be any actual threat.
All zombie movie directors should be required to read World War Z to find out how zombies would frick up the military, instead of just having moron zombies win cause everyone is suddenly incompetent.
Well pic related was probably the most realistic one, I'll tell you that. In reality, the only plausible way for a zombie apocalypse to happen is if they all got supernatural strength and speed and could easily rip the covers off tanks and outrun helicopters and dodge bullets, matrix style. If your specific brand of zombie takeover features slow walking, moronic zombies that just group up and stimble towards you, well I hate to break it to you but a single redneck sitting in a lawn chair on a bus or building rooftop is enough to wipe out every single zombie in a 100 mile radius around him. All that he'd need is a 10/22 with a red dot and enough ammo. It would be boring more than diffuclt or scarry.
Zombie movies/scenarios are created by a bunch of soiboy nogunz Hollywood israelite types. Of course they have no idea how guns/the human body (or in this case, the zombie body) works. There are more privately owned guns in America than there are people. And you're telling me that slow moving zombies who can't open doors and climb things somehow killed all the people and destroyed our highly trained, highly mobile, and highly funded military? Get the frick outta here. You think requiring a head shot/brain shot makes this any more realistic? The thought of a slow moving zombie apocalypse is beyond moronic. But they do make for interesting movies and games, I'll give you that.
Zombies couldn't take over a small town of 50, let alone the entire world.
Read World War and you’ll understand why you’re wrong.
Making successive headshots isn’t easy, especially when you’re under the pressure of being outnumbered 100 to 1.
Also the military are trained to shoot center of mass, it’s hard to suddenly adjust to only make headshots.
Also most military anti crowd weapons would be useless against zombies since explosions aren’t going to kill them via tearing their lungs up from the pressure or by peppering them with shrapnel unless a piece hits them in the Brain.

You're really dumb and it's clear that you've never shot a gun in your life and know nothing about guns at all. In fact it's very evident that you have a tenuous grasp on common sense in general. Please never ever (You) me again.
It’s clear that you’ve never never done more than shoot at stationary targets.
You probably get your info from Hollywood war movies.
I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve never fired a gun at all.
.50 cals can’t be continuously fired in to crowds of 1000s for long periods of time, you need cooling and ammo.
And explosions kill visit ripping your lungs out 90% of the time.
Life isn’t a video game.
In WWZ, the military in yonkers was facing about 4 million zombies and they lost because they were using tactics that would work against normal Humans.
They win later only because they learned and adjusted.
A standard .50 caliber round will not rip someone in half, it will cause a very large wound but it doesn't split the body. What you're thinking of is the military anti-materiel rounds that carry an explosive payload, which they use to disable vehicles or split insurgents into pieces. But only the explosive round has that kind of power.
The troops were the last line of defense. The massive horde was getting blasted from the air, tanks and artillery but it wasn't nearly as effective as the hoped. So the horde reached the troops
>The troops showing up and killing everything immediately is the most realistic scenario, yes
I like how less serious zombie stories are the ones that depict the military as competent.
My favorite shit in zombie movies is seeing all the abandoned military equipment and the unmanned .50-cals laying around. A round from a .50 can damn near flip a commuter car and can burst a human body like a frickin water balloon, but apparently 200 braindead democrats walking at 1mph is too much for any gunner to handle
A zombie infection wouldn't spread very far in the first place. A rage type infection would be ridiculously easy to contain because you become a mindless psychopath near instantly, meaning you aren't going to drive anywhere, or sit quietly in a plane. Even if the incubation period was a few days, a bite is pretty easy to check for. A zombie apocalypse would be unlikely. You'd just get local break outs that would be dealt with as soon as authorities figure out what's going on.
Not even they are immune to it, they can still turn from fluid exposure they just didn't turn from the airborne particles. Unless you are me and you turn off infections because the combat is dogshit :^)
Probably the vampire apocalypse in I am Legend the book. There is a movie called Stakeland but I can't recall if the vampires were coherent and cognitive. >in all of media?
There is also the crazy schizo zombies in that comic who are just people that are compelled to act out their sickest fantasies
cgi/fast zombies or "infected"
28 snoozes later
world war gay
zombie land
i am legend
>Fast zombies
But Return of the Living Dead is based
Zombies that wouldn’t be any actual threat.

Zombie that take advantage of carelessness are more interesting tactically and narratively than le running zombies.
>Zombies that wouldn’t be any actual threat.
Brain turned to mush by Marvel. The threat in zombie movies is not the fricking zombies
>The threat in zombie movies is not the fricking zombies
This, 13% do 50%
>suddenly incompetent

*I meant OP's pic related. The walking dead zombies are as far away from realistic as it gets.

Why would the military send ground troops to a situation where they'd be outnumbered 100 to 1?
The troops were the last line of defense. The massive horde was getting blasted from the air, tanks and artillery but it wasn't nearly as effective as the hoped. So the horde reached the troops
is that shane on the left?
So basically Shaun of the Dead is the only one that got it right.
The troops showing up and killing everything immediately is the most realistic scenario, yes

that's why it needs to affect the animals as well
I wish there was a Canadian zombie film where winter comes and everyone parties while taking in Southern refugees
knox event from project zomboid. airborne inescapable virus that only maybe 1/500-1/1000 people are immune to

This fricking shit
This is the best zombie movie ever made wtf are you on about?
Anything with stick figure Milla "I wouldn't be cast in anything unless my hubby was the director" Jovovich.
>after all of that... It was us who were AMC's The Walking Dead™
I think if Crossed ever happened I would kill my all of my family and then myself to do us all a favor. Frick having to survive that shit.
Crossed was fricking dumb but yeah that world would be utter shit to survive in.

Anything fungal or mushrooms
