what's the point of even buying a revolver?
>can't spin the cylinder and flick it closed on a double action like in movies and games cause it fricks up the timing
>can't fan the hammer on a single action like a cowboy too much cause it fricks up the firing pin and cylinder
>can't be reliably counted on as daily concealed carry
>inb4 the one moron who actually unironically daily carries a shitty snub 308 or something pipes up
so what's the point? i ask because I want to buy one, but I'm on the fence. revolvers definitely are range toys i just wish you could manhandle them without them breaking like a fricking pocket watch
Ever heard of fun you moron?
>ever heard of fun?
>can't do fun things with it or else your 1000$ display piece breaks
idiot
when was anime ever even mentioned or implied? your brain is fried
>your 1000$ display piece
i just got a rough rider .22, and when the manufacturer rebate comes back it's gonna cost me $80
>I can't do this one moronic abusive thing I saw in a movie once, so this gun is useless
You can't dry fire the shit out of a rimfire either without peening the firing pin and chamber dumbass, doesn't mean they don't have a purpose.
Stop learning everything about life from japanese cartoons you moronic fricking Black person
Olden times? Beat single shots.
Modern times? Cheapest way to put magnum calibers in your hand.
Beats semi auto handgun hunting, except for yotes
>cause it fricks up the timing
it fricks up the lockup
>can't fan the hammer
>can't be reliably counted
nay
>inb4 the one moron
that's you my good chum
All the shit you said about single actions are wrong moron, I fan my Uberti a ton and it hasn't broken. Plus if it does the parts for it are cheap because there is a billion damn single actions out there. If your going to get a revolver, especially a single action, get it because it goes fricking hard. This thing was already pretty flawed in 1873 but it's cool.
>what's the point of even buying a revolver?
It makes butthurt homosexual OPs dissolve into a gibbering pile of screeching autism. Pretty fricking funny, tbh.
You can do all that on a modern Ruger BlackHawk and it wont break for a while
And when it does break, repairing it is easy. Also breakage is avoidable with maintenance.
Why don't they make a tank gun a revolver
see amx-13, stryker mgs, k2 black panther, etc etc
Nah those are just revovling magazine autoloaders. The cylinder is still conventional.
A revolver has inherent inefficiencies related to internal ballistics (before projectile leaves barrel). Fine for a handgun, but a significant downside when youre trying to squeeze every possible bit of performance out of a vehicle mounted gun. Because to even out the losses youd need to make the thing much bigger and heavier.
>revolving tank cannon
>not separated from crew compartment
>no gas seal
imagine
>crew achieves NBC protection via environmental suits, topped off from a central purification and storage system
>computer-controlled 4+ round bursts on target in seconds
Kino.
>>want to shoot the BIG bullet
Shooting powerful fricking rounds with near assured reliability you fricking zoomer troony, maybe firearms need to do something other than shoot 9mm Parabelldumb and weigh less than 20oz you twink frick.
>Revolvers are for powerful, accurate shots, or for discrete conceal carry
>The mechanism of the revolver makes it less likely to fail compared to semiautos.
>Even considering shitty cheap ammo, the revolver doesnt need to eject when the ammo fails to fire.
>revolvers don't spit shells everywhere on the scene, so they make the ideal car weapons
>many revolvers can take multiple ammo types including quieter suppressible ammo
>very easy to make a revolver quiet like in Shawshank Redemption
And they are better to work on.
revolvers are mostly for being based
What's going on there?
You could get a cheap Taurus and not worry about abusing it?
>wielding a taurus
Revolvers have hidden +200% crit perk
