Mesomorph is the smallest target and has the body type of other operators like Audie murphy, lauri Törni, or roy benavidez when he was in the field. Assuming you're talking about field operative roles.
His thoracic cavity (where he's far more likely to get incapacitated immediately if shot) is smaller than the others, really.
But it should go without saying that this depiction of an ectomorph is also exaggerated, the average ectomorph is really only slightly taller and skinner than the average mesomorph bone-structure wise. Look at people when they're starving and you'll see how much of our impression of people's skeleton dimensions actually comes more from soft mass, we look surprisingly similar when we're all bones.
As a Vietnamese, I can safely tell you that he's underfed, my grandfather complained about the lack of food in the war against the french, leading to him being only 38kb when he reached college. Nowaday, it's not hard to hit 70kg, 1m8 as long as you are not a poor gay
6" mesomorph here with wide shoulders.
It looks good but actually it's worse for real performance. I have a highter center of gravity (more effort when swimming or trying to keep my balance), more back/knee pains (more weight in my upper body), and walking in the woods here becomes tiresome having to keep a low head all the time to not hit branches (mediterranean-style forests mind you).
Endomorphs may look chubby, but they are the better body type for a soldier/athlete (unless they need more reach). I've always noticed that classical greek/roman statues were more in line with that.
A troony, obviously. A 6 foot tall woman with 10lb silicone breasts, 24” bideltoid, size 12 feet, enormous wrists, a severed dick, a wig, and a rope around his neck.
I though those body types were deboonked? They are good for shorthand but it seems the differences can be explained away with skeleton size and proportions (genetic) and fat distribution and protein synthesis (endocrine/test levels) and diet
>don't le actual ninja operators tend towards a mesomorph-ectomorph kind of body? or maybe this is just outside of the US.

Speaking of Endomorphs >Be me Endo >Trying to improve my cardio endurance by running 3 times a week >Dropping weight and body fat but can only run 1.7km before exhausted >Used to be 150kg, now 92kg
>be me >borderline Endo-Meso >lol chin-welds are fine for rifles, euros do it, upright head etc >must form neck into an S or put stock near sternum to do a chin weld >cardio dissapears fast unless I do it every day
>shon splints
Wtf, r u me? I bought some New Balance Fresh Foam 1080's in hopes of alleviating but it didn't. Odly my Reebok Rapid Responses are softer to run in >not made for cosmo kramer
>cardio dissapears fast unless I do it every day
My body does this too, it's either shin splints or losing all my cardio quickly it's aids
does for everyone cardio gains leave extremally fast regardless of build. 2 weeks to a month and it's like you never ran at all. You will pick up a little faster if you fall off but you're doing the whole climb every time.
Cardio was THE BEST thing I have ever done to start cutting my weight down - at first it was a little difficult (mainly because I was biking) BUT NOW that I really know how to work the "Weight Loss" feature on a Stride Machine, anon, I've lost 23 pounds. I used to be a fat ass at 240 lbs.
Any exercise helps to lose weight. The most time efficient method however is to just eat less. You can burn 200 calories by running for 30 minutes, but you can also just take 200 calories out of your lunch and get an instant deficit that way. Also, strength training helps more than cardio, since muscles burn energy maintaining themselves all the time, not just when using them.
But don't let anything I've said change your approach if it works for you. Some people are better motivated by exercise than diet because exercise feels better, or they prefer running over lifting because that more aligns with their performance goals.
WELL I do Cardio primarily to improve my endurance and to keep my legs strong - I also do Leg Strength Training on a Leg Press and I also do upper body as well (i.e. Weights of varying intensity over the course of 10 - 15 minutes). I also diet alongside working out - I only eat when hungry, I have MAJORLY cut back on Soda, I have MAJORLY cut back on Waffles (I have managed to get off of them Cold Turkey), and I have MAJORLY cut back on Fast Food.
Good advice though anon and I look forward to exploring other ways to get my weight down (ideally I want to cut 36 pounds of fat from me to get to 180 - 181 lbs but I know it's gonna take some time but I'm getting there once I hit 200 lbs).
I should also try getting my dimensions again since I'm using dimensions from when I once weighed 240 lbs - and then take the "Geometric Average" of those dimensions to get my actual dimensions.
Muscle-nugget types are optimal. Lower profile, good strength, decent speed, good enduranc,e slightly lower caloric requirements than the same percent muscle on tall lads.
The only time more height is more good is for units that need to travel long distances on foot carrying all their shit, and with increasing mechanisation of infantry it's a niche role.
Because muscle is calorically expensive, and for 99% of the existence of our species and its immediate predecessors the absence of food was our primary concern. Exercise, as opposed to simple exertion, is a luxury. It's also why we have these different body types, as each is better suited to a difference combination of food availability and environmental pressures.
Maybe 17% BF would be better. I remember reading that dropping below 11% makes testosterone nose dive because the body feels like it can't waste energy on maintaining muscles.
Right now I have 16% Body Fat Percentage - which is pretty frickin' based anon (since that's Navy Approved). But I'm still losing weight - 217 pounds and soon at least to be hitting 200 w/in the next couple weeks or so.
All of the DEVGRU guys I've ever met were short, had beer bellies and had good arm definition, but all the CAG guys were either pretty jacked or twinks. Make of that what you will.
Damn straight. Good to know that US Army Green Berets (mainly CAG/1st Special Forces) are able to stay in tip top shape long after they've served. Truly inspires me.
By acft standards, the ectomorph with strong legs and great cardio. By realistic standards, the strong as frick mesomorph who is all around strong with good cardio.
Cardio is a meme. If you ever have to run 2 miles in war, your ass is grass. Audie Murphy sure as frick didn't run away...
From my time in the infantry ( as an officer) I'd say mesomorph. Tall skinny guys totally need not apply you'll get injured one way or another in training before you get anywhere, shorter guys I wonder if they wouldnt be totally fine if reqs were national but they require x km ruck with x kg weight over so many days that punishes them for being just 0.x percent smaller but in the real world they're less likely to break at the edges which is entirely what will get you.
Completely depends on the role.

Mesomorph.
Ectomorphs die when having to carry anything over 10 pounds and Endomorphs die if they have to move over 100 yards.
This. There is a reason humans evolved to me Mesomorphs.
Lanklets actually work pretty well as human mules. Strap that shit to your body or put it in a backpack and it's ezpz.
t. lanklet
Are you actually lanklet, or a tall mesomorph?
Lanklet. Skellington until I hit 21-22 then I became skinnyfat. Can't bulk for shit.

don't le actual ninja operators tend towards a mesomorph-ectomorph kind of body? or maybe this is just outside of the US.
I imagine endurance and speed is prioritized over strength, but some healthy baseline amount of both is desirable.

Stop slamming your feet into the pavement. Foam shoes just encourage that. You want to land with flat feet or on the soles.
you may want to use a bike. you get good cardio without powderizing your joints.
Bike or swim friend. Don't shoot your joints running.

Mesomorph, as is the case for most other things.

But he was lean enough to get up on that Tank and start spitting .50 cal hell. That's what counts at the end of it.
There used to be a maximum height for pilots and tankers for a reason, also the smaller the target the smaller the chance of hitting it.
the ideal soldier would be low to the ground and capable of carrying many times their own body weight in weaponry
a man-ant hybrid, basically

I’m a short guy and I can confirm that I didn’t get good at rucking until I put on weight. “Hit the gym” is amazing advice
Any tips on increasing running speed? I want to hit 3 miles in 18 minutes.
Cut off your legs and replace them with cybernetic enhancements.
We aren’t there yet, sadly
Far right, plenty of muscle to move shit, small target
Somatypes aren't real.

endomorph because they will become a mesomorph and then an ectomorph before starving to death
