Only non Western missiles do this. The West invests in insensitive munitions for this reason. Don't want something puncturing the canister and lighting off like a T-72. Drop tests from 30ft+, shot with low/high velocity sharpnel, and set on fire are some of the tests the propellant must pass before being used by the West.

It's even more hilarious when you realize that Beit Hanoun was a fortified town, one of the first strongpoints Hamas put up due to it's geographic position on a hill and salient outside of Gaza city. They intended to inflict heavy casualties on the IDF there, and instead got shelled to oblivion. Honestly, I believe Hamas got used to the back and forth limited exchanges of fire over the past ten years and didn't understand the kind of firepower massed artillery, rockets and hundreds of jets can deliver. Well, they found out. I really want beirut to get the same treatment.

Some ukie decoys have moving parts, decoy doesn't necessarily mean a paper or inflatable target, even if you spend a couple thousand dollars on a decoy it's still worth it when the original costs a lot more.

Me thinks they're using spent cannisters for the decoy models, I highly doubt they're reusing cannisters. I also call BS on insensitive fuel, these missiles have to perform some particularly violent maneuvers.

Seems like the launcher was inactive due to being broken at the time of impact. As somebody remarked, they’d removed all the comm equipment and the missiles (no cook off) from the launcher. Either they didn’t bother to remove the broken launcher or they were using it as a purposeful decoy.

that's not how it works. decoys still have people around them, no reason for them not to. the idf wouldn't conduct training in hezbollah's ATGM range and field of view. the fact that it was purposefully out in the open in range of hezbollah's ATGM tells you its a decoy

You don't get it right? Developed nations aren't attempting to destroy Israel, instead they are trying to stop them from stamping out whatever raghead herds there are left at Gaza under the desperate belief they can still keep the illusion of "The Long Peace" and "diversity" afloat, Israel has had for decades now the strategic capabilities to massacre every single one of their enemies with impunity, US and Europe support or not, trash such as Iran, the houthis or Hezbollah live because for Tel Aviv there is still some relative advantages and profit at playing by the western "international rules" book, mudslime numbers mean nothing but human ashes. In less than 6 months one third of Hamas is already dead despite playing every single dirty trick in the book and that is only because IDF attempts to protect their own self-image, but the axe is already cutting the neck and Rafah is next.

It’s clearly a high-quality decoy made out of spent canisters and steel bars. There’s no reason at all for the entire carriage, comms tower and hydraulics to be missing. I’ve seen similar quality decoys made in Ukraine. When I first saw it I thought maybe it could have been an early version of the launcher and the canisters were empty; it wasn’t until the closeups came out of the missing carriage and hydraulics did I accept it was a decoy.

the idf has ravaged through much of gaza without much of an issue. they've reached hamas infastructure in most of gaza and killed 10s of thousands of fighters. their strategy was always to focus on killing terrorists and destroying their infastructure. you shouldn't ask how much percentage of gaza do they control but what parts have they attacked and operated in (it's most of gaza).

there was never any mention of the idf controlling gaza. the idf will only aim to control strategic points that will allow them to operate freely inside gaza whenever they want like in the west bank. they'll want someone else and not hamas to be in charge though

Because they’re taking a gentle slow-burn approach. I don’t claim to know what’s going on in internal Israeli power politics but there must be a very strong 5th column / enemy political current operating in the government, and maybe the military itself which is stopping an outright genocide or violent exodus. Maybe the U.S. is being a major drag-force on that (but not a counter-force).

What is pretty much every other war/large scale operation since WW2? according to outside reports Israel has dropped over 70,000 tons of drops on Gaza since this round of the war began. By the Palis own statements there are 35,000 thousands dead, with some complex math above your level that is 2 tons of explosives to kill a single Pali in the most densly populated area in the entire world.
That also takes into account that the only way Palis died was through dropped bombs and no other way (fyi, bullets kill)

Here is a little exercise for a tourist such as yourself, check the average weight of an anti-tank mine (the thing used to blow a hole through steel plates and shredd people inside) and check what is the equivalent number of anti-tank mines dropped on innocent civilians to civilian deaths ratio and then try to show me a similar situation that proves his point

            >Israeli Merkava Mark lV Main Battle Tanks with the 162nd “Ha-Plada” Division arrived on the Southern Coast of the Gaza Strip today, with the Israel Defense Force now having Total Physical Control of the “Philadelphi Corridor” between the Border of Egypt and the Gaza Strip.

At the same time the IDF can now operate freely in most parts of the Strip outside Rafah with close to zero casualties in the operations of the last weeks besides friendly fire accidents.

Many of the IDF brigades are also getting redeployed to the northern border for a potential ground campaign against Hezbollah

I dont know, that looks like a pretty good way of winning your war.

Civilized western countries have the actual mean for civilians and news outlets to confirm and fact check those losses thanks to technology and communications.

Yesterday, they were coping furiously about it being a fake Hezbollah site and the typical repertoire of "no aftermath". Today's narrative is training prop/decoy. israelites cope as hard as ziggers.

are there still morons who don't understand what the blue stripes are for? they hit a decoy.

but people who hadn't seen the stripes were already pointing out the obvious missing things. the blue stripes are simply the most obvious indicator

People were already skeptical once it was clear in the crappy video feed the hydraulics were missing. The moment the damage was examined up close it was evident it was a decoy. The stripes are just one big tell among others.
                Also
                >If you didn't notice it immediately it means it isn't true
                Nuclear grade /chip/troon copium.
Back to our regularly scheduled programming of Hezbollah and the rest of the ragheads getting blown the frick out.

Checked the footage, too grainy to tell, but possibly missing stripes.
That wasn't what I was pointing out though, it was the new point that the stripes themselves were code for it being a decoy.

          Anonymous

no. the system is not for identifying decoys. rather its for identifying inert launchers/canisters. seems like something the idf uses as an indicator, similar to how america (and israel) put color stripes on their bombs to indicate whether they're inert (blue), high-explosive(yellow), etc. these inert launchers are usually used for shows and training, turns out they obviously make good decoys as well

Every Israeli death becomes common knowledge once the family finds out. The government can't threaten people to be quiet, and the identities of all soldiers are known.
Whereas Hezbollah had to ship their fighters into Syrian hospitals to prevent the public from realizing they got slaughtered in Lebanon 2.
Today, Hamas lumps its own losses with civilian casualties in Gaza.

Did they start it? Taking you a long ass time to conquer a city less than 1/6th the population of Bagdad. And with massive civilian casualties, fracturing the normally subservient American public's view of IDF operations. Does the IDF just suck at warfare? Weird how burgers could take a much larger city, with an organized and well equipped military so much faster and with so much less collateral damage than the IDF who literally lives there.

i have no clue what you're talking about. i was simply referring to the inefficiency of hezbollah. don't know what this has to do with palestinians.

with that being said, i am simply pointing out that there is what hezbollah believes to be two high-value targets but they only went for one of them. this isn't the first time something like this happened. in one of their videos i saw there, was something like 2-3 merkavas but they only went for one of them. i have my own theories as to why that is
