The answer to this question should be very low unless you just turned 18 and bought your first rifle with your first paycheck.
Always amazed at the number of private party sellers whose ads say things like, "don't really want to sell this one, but my car got a flat tire so I need to free up some cash."
If you're autistic and retarded enough to believe PrepHole posts, then everyone here is a 6ft 9 gigachad gorillionaire uber-genius software engineer that can get away with being an autistic gay because they're a 6ft 9 gigachad gorillionaire uber-genius software engineer. Too bad only the "autistic gay" part is true, which includes the autistic and retarded gay who believes these anons' PrepHole posts.
I don't have any of that though because I'm a wealthy Gen-x male. Like, I got a couple Sako's and a Beretta parallelo. I even have a couple KAC ar's. But I'm not gonna spend a bunch of cash on a transferable or something stupid like that.
>wealthy Gen-x male
Statistically more likely to have a 12 inch peepee and be 6'9 like the other anon is fixated on

Checked 5x. And I know it's just hot air, but every other board besides PrepHole is not as full of delusional tards thinking they are gaining some street cred by huffing that bull. It's hard to have genuine conversation on gun prices when everyone is a pretend rich fag while the most common seethe thread on here are the gunbroker ones where they seethe to no end over a shitkay marked up a hundred bucks
When do you think Gen X is? My peers are all 50+ we are quickly becoming the largest unit of wealth as all the boomers die. Another twenty years it'll be the millennials catching up. But, if I'm honest, I don't know a single guy in my peer group who isn't worth a million dollars or more between housing equity, savings, investments and retirement plans. Not to mention all the physical collections. Between my wife and I our family net worth is probably about 3+million dollars. 1.2 of that is just my house and the 35 acres it sits on I finished paying off in 2019.

It’s impossible to have less than 1M by age 50 unless you’re a complete retard or just very unlucky
Let me guess, you are a hooknose, no guns. Here's a fact, I have a higher net worth than you do and I have a higher income. Look down on yourself. You can't have the guns garden gnome.

You should put all of your net worth in guns anon 🙂
About 35% I've got ~$120k in guns, ~$100k in home equity, a couple cheap cars that are paid for but not worth much, and ~$130k in various stock accounts. Probably too much in guns tbh
>$120k in guns
If not larping, let me guess...
- A dozen "high-end" ARs, each with $1k glass, lights, bi-pods, waffle-makers, etc.
- A half dozen Ship of Theseus plastic pistols that you've replaced every single part on with "high performance upgrades"
- At least one SCAR, if not two or three.
- Top of the line NODs, plates, kit, etc.
- The rest is top of the line bolt guns, tricked out 1911s, and AKs.
>few DD/KAC AR15’s >few budget AR’s as backups or for friends >half dozen pistols >SCAR >16k rounds of centerfire/16k 22lr >level iii RMA plates/jpc 2 carrier >few hundred mags >ACOG, vortex razor, eotech, aimpoint, horosun plus a few budget optics
Nah, a handful of ARs and other modern rifles, a couple transferable machine guns, assortment of Milsurp and other collectibles I've bought over the years, and some other miscellaneous guns. No nods, no plates. I shoot about 20k rounds a year, I'd shoot more if I had time.
Fuck you for calling me out. I've got about 100k in guns, maybe shoot once or twice a year.
Most of it is antique, rare or unique, very little custom stuff.

It's my only real hobby, so I feel that it's justified. I save all my money, and don't buy guns unless they fill a niche in my collection. There are only 2 calibers I have more than one gun chambered in: two 9mms and two 12ga shotguns
<1%. I've got a decent collection but it's value is nothing compared to my house or 401k.
That said, my grandfather has promised me his old Holland & Holland which was last valued at $40k iirc and would account for like 14% of my net worth in a single gun.

Of course I pretend to be a specialist on them anyways, how could you tell?
WHAT DOES THE REDDIT MAN HAVE TO DO WITH THIS

nearly 100%. I rent and still owe on my car so my guns and nods are the only real assets I own

The average retard in this country would be bankrupt from a surprise $400 mandatory bill so...
PrepHole is the most dishonest board. Everyone is suddenly a millionaire but dont post their transferables and thermals to flex.

bro you're either poor af or autistic af
800k and 40k in firearms, not sure which
You better have a MG otherwise there’s literally no reason to sink that much money into larping (which is 90%+ of modern gun ownership)
>otherwise there’s literally no reason to sink that much money into larping
why? they're not losing value.
Let me guess, you think guns are an investment?

They're a hedge
Zero divided by zero
=1, no gunz are true gun owner

And you shoot 40 - 50 rounds, once a month?
I’m the 40k guy

I shoot about 1k rounds a month
Proof that money can't buy taste
nta but post your hoard so we can see how it compares

I've bought guns over the last 8 years since turning 18 so I've definitely spent less than the $120k accumulating them.

Fuck you for calling me out. I've got about 100k in guns, maybe shoot once or twice a year.

about 10%, really depends on how you value one of them.
0.03%
>Call it $30k in guns/optics/gear/ammo
>Probably about 10% of total net worth
>I should buy more houses
80%, frankly I'm ashamed of that number. I need it to be at least 95%
My net worth is 20k and I have about 8k worth of firearms related stuff. I only make 1,200 per month.
Between the equity on my home, the paid off car, the sliver of crypto, the electronics, the tools... probably just under 5%.
>net worth not in ammo instead
Why?
Like 40%, i dont work and i use my neetbux on mostly guns and guitars
I'm not a lying dickhead NEET who says they make millions. I'm a poor fag with a lot of guns. Around 15%
Lmao at anyone in here thinking modern guns appreciate value.

Nice try.
I don't care who the IRS sends, I'm not paying taxes.
you made me do the math; %0.95
maybe I should buy another gun
keep buying until it hits at least 15%
that's way too many guns my dude
Lol. Like one percent. But I'm worth a middling 7 figures so it's still a reasonably good set of stuff.
