It's literally coherant plasma formed by radar waves. Exactly like HAARP except it's stupidly powerful modern millimeter wave radar.
Wherever the radar beams intersect, poof, UAP. It zips around from the software trying to "track" it and it's basically cats chasing after a laser pointer. They already know this, they want to keep it a secret to spoof radar signatures.
holy shit, this is it. that's why it shows on thermals
I have seen claims that the US is developing "thermal holograms" as a countermeasure against guided weapons.
>They already know this, they want to keep it a secret to spoof radar signatures.
Why make a case out of it and have the pilots come out in front of the public with some bullshit instead of just keeping the whole thing a secret then?

>It's an ir glare >That doesn't mean there isn't an object, it just means it's probably some kind of plane >No, the pilots did not see it with their eyes
If that one guy replies to this again ignore it
i still remember that this was part of a weird series of probably fake disinfo patents released by the US Navy, including one which claimed to be able to alter reality
I read a book that explored a CIA/ ONI plot to mess with the Soviets by making these blueprints, plans, parents for things like turbines and machine tools that were meant to be expensive and time consuming to make but didn't actually work. They'd get these plans and """leak""" them to moles and spies. One of the sets of fake documents was about a captured alien spacecraft in hopes the Soviets would think the US had superior technology.
The point was to detect spies, since they knew who had these particular documents. Another was to demoralize the Soviets and distrust the things leaked to them. Funny side bonus was them trying to make one of these things but iirc their engineers figured out they were bullshit. Anyways, I think it's interesting. This could be another espionage misdirection shadow-war thing happening.
This is ~~*allegedly*~~ how Edgar Fouche heard the disinfo about the rotating mercury. Someone on the project was purposely told some mostly bullshit for ONI/DIA to ferret out a project leak.

Ultra dense ramming
That part in the book was so fricking demoralizing!
context?
The Three-Body Problem Trilogy by Liu Cixin
In the second book aliens sent a droplet shaped metal probe (
) that destroyed all of Earth's space fleet in like 30 minutes

Another link for why public parents are the absolute worst place to glean real information.
