She is getting sunk even before she can see the enemy. And for the smaller boats, she probably can't even hit them due to how hard it is to aim with those cannons and etc.
For any big-ish warship, those cannons would do jackshit even if it hit too.
a ship of the line in the late 18th century would be able to hit 10 knots on the best day of it's life, the only modern ships it could realistically sink would have to already be dead in the water otherwise it'd never be able to realistically engage them
It could easily incapacitate an aircraft carrier. Those things have power but they aren’t made to last, a songbird on the deck is enough reason to raise the alarms
Aircraft Carriers have enough armor to survive their own planes crashing into them. The Royal Sovereign's cannons wouldn't be able to do more then scratch the paint.
Lol
Lmao
This has to be a joke
US carriers are built to withstand multiple torpedo hits and multiple missile strikes. Even if a carrier sat still and let the RS unload volley after volley onto it without any retalliation, it would only scratch the paint, perhaps break a few antenaes, and probably shatter some glass on the tower. MAYBE it would damage the flight deck, but not significantly - it'd be repaired in 24 hours without even having to go to port. Even WW2 era carriers routinely withstood full-on strikes from kamikazes, hosed off the debris, and got right back to fighting.
But again, the RS is only gettig a shot off if the carrier literally jus sits still and lets it happen. Strike fighters would locatw the RS 100 miles away and obliterate it with harpoons before the scurvy-ridden sailorrs even realized they were in danger. Get shit on, kiddo
Honestly no need to even waste a missile on it, strafe it with the 20mm and assuming you didn't hit a magazine directly there are now hundreds of fires all over the place, and a wooden ship with natural fiber ropes and sails, soaked in tar, with gunpowder everywhere is a real shitty place to have fires.
OP's ship was so heavy due to statues and stuccos that made navigation a nightmare. it was more of a tacky display of wealth than a real warship. it sailed very little and eventually caught fire and burned.
Could catch a cutter by surprise from the sheer WTF factor and yeet it in the opening bombardment, but that trick would only work once.
Contrary to popular belief, even though destroyers aren't considered armored, the steel in their construction is at least as thick as a protected cruiser of the era, and would be unlikely to fall to RS's cannons.
>Equip it with nuclear torpedo's >Have it sail up to anyone >"Haha that's kinda neat guys" >Once within range it launches modern torps >Sings whatever it aimed at
It'll be blown out of the water after that but as a Trojan horse attack it could probably sink anything
Patrol dinghies and not much else.
With 90 bronze cannons? I think she can deal with bigger fishes

Is the enemy shooting back?
Armatard thread
you literally eat shit you falseflagging nagger

that's 17th century
Could do enough damage to a surfaced submarine to prevent it from diving, but couldn't sink it.

>be 18th century sailor
>see 100,000 ton metal ship moving 4 times faster than you with no sails
>scream witchcraft and jump overboard
>aircraft carrier breaks down anyway

>survive their own planes crashing into them
I’d need to see it to believe it
A disabled stationary one without any ability to engage them on range and for some reason without helicopter and no small arms on board.

Probably ships up to patrol or missile boats provided it's close range and the other ship isn't shooting back.
How would it ever catch up with one to even engage?
Why don't we make beautiful boats anymore?
Everything in the modern world is so fucking dull and sterile. There is no grandeur or passion anymore.
Can’t be both pretty and stealthy

A Venezuelan naval patrol vessel?
The USS Gerald R Ford in a stunning upset
Has the Japanese done an Isakai for this yet? They've transported Modern soldiers to medieval times
probably a Slava-class cruiser
Anything if they will be lucky.
Probably the Kuznetzov, assuming it doesn’t sink itself first

Wooden ships of war are the sexiest weapon made by man
