locally made copies of the T-72 and T-62
some have been upgraded to heavily they barely resemble the original

airforce is whatever they could scrape together
mig-21s, mig-29s, biplanes, they arent picky
but generally, most if not all are cold war surplus

North Korea does not have any locally-made copies of the T-72, at all. They do not field the T-72 in any capacity.

They got a few T-72s from Iran and rejected everything but the gun as stupid, instead they made a VERY modified T-62 variant with a western style turret,125mm gun, a manual loader and possibly a 5th crewman.

All their weapons are soviet and Chinese rip offs. So they got their version of the AK, their version of the RPK, etc. They probably changes. Hard to know OP if I had to guess we don't have a lot of north Korean lurkers here.

They make their own missile and artillery weapons, while based on PRC/USSR designs they are so far modified that they are really their own thing. They also make unique and sometimes weird indigenous stuff.

      You are mostly wrong.

NK makes a lot of copies mostly of chinese stuff or soviet cold war era arms and what not
they do however have some unique designs based off czech guns/designs like their PKM/ZB-26 hybrid, their bizon-esque drum fed Ak-74's and their own cz-75 copy

wikipedia also says they use really old stuff like browning 1900's (lol) but I think thats just for their people's milita

Ancient Soviet hand-me-downs. The one advantage they have of any kind is that their army and population are completely brainwashed.

Americans aren't raised to believe that the president is able to fly, doesn't shit, and invented an invisible telephone.

No, but they are raised to believe that voting actually matters, and that they have an actual say in their government.

I wonder wildly corrupt NK is. They carefully curate a sanitized foreign image but that all but guarantees the place is insanely corrupt. The USSR and the Iron Curtain came down because the huge oil and gas hard currency reserves were too much of moral hazard and so the elites went after it while bringing down the Soviet structure. But NK doesn’t have such a major moral hazard the elites want to pocket. It’s basically a peasant shithole and as such the ruling elites’ main goal is for personal enrichment. But, we’re talking about things like having the best houses, access to minor luxury goods, fine imports, etc. So they’re certainly super corrupt and it would be interesting to see by just how much.

If korean history is any indication (pic related) then they won't be "corrupt" - since that implies an illegal and hidden means of enrichment - but they will just have an extremely stratified society where equality before the law is unthinkable. The party will be on top, with below that high army officers and other important goverment officials. The rest of the population would be little more than slaves (fun fact, slavery was extremely widespread in Korea until the Japanese invasion in the first sino-japanese war) feeding the koreans.
When you hear about the extreme demand that is placed by companies on their workers in south korea, or kpop slave-contracts, something like that will be happening as well in north korea. For all the differences between the two states, they are both korean first, and communist(juche)/capitalist second.
