Wear this for hours with gels in a noisy machine shop and it makes all the differences. Foam in general sucks so swap out all your shit with gel pads for less eeeeeeeeee in your life.
I use peltor sports specifically for the higher NRR rating over basically all other active ears (26 nrr) sound is measured weird so thats actually a huge boost over the 23 of howard leight.
Now im interested in these OTTO, anyone here ever use em? Expensive at 400 bucks but i like the form factor and it claims to be 28 nrr with foam tips.
howard leights over foam plugs or sometimes just the foam plugs. I'm sure I could get better sound and more features from better muffs but you really can't beat the price of howard leight
Peltor Tactical 100 with optional gel earcups. They weren't ridiculously expensive, are compact, and have good audio. I double these up with 33 NRR earplugs for maximum protection because I already have the eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee and I don't want it to get any worse.
Thoughts on the Peltor Sport Tactical 500? I already have walker razor slims with gel cups but feel like upgrading so my walkers can just be for family use when I take them to the range. Bonus is that I can get them at cost for about $110.
I have the tactical 100s and I've been looking at the 500s myself. Bluetooth, plus an extra 4 NRR over the 100s. The ability to use optional Li-Ion rechargeable battery pack (With USB charging built into the muffs) or AAs seems pretty good. Put the gel earcups on them (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B087D6P26P) and it's a winner.
Only downside I can see is that the earcups aren't as slim as the 100s.
I’d let her molest me again and none of you could stop it.
Basic b***h foamies with basic b***h earmuffs over them.
WHAT?
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
WHAT?
EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Most of /k/ doesn't shoot OP.
Some peltors qtdtott shilled me because I had no idea about these newfangled electronic ear pro.
9mm casings
What are you? A pussy? A pussy redditor?
Pic related. Cheap, good battery life, don't get in the way. The gel ear pads are worth it for longer range sessions.

I got some Howard Leight electronic ears I use alone outside. Or doubled up with some disposable foam earplugs indoors.
Walker electronic muffs over Peltor tri-flange plugs.
cheek also pass sound wave
Cigarette butts
Foamies and Howard Leigh's with aftermarket gel cups.
Suppressors
Running at the speed of sound to avoid the sound of my gunfire
always double up. muffs alone aren't good enough to prevent hearing damage in the long term.
3M plugs
Foamies that have a string.

>$400
At that point just save for Ops-Core Amps with the NFMI plugs.
Extremely based setup, but still big earmuffs, the otto are only really interesting because of the form factor. No need for high cut helmets.
That's fair, but I'd never personally go without both plugs AND muffs unless there's a suppressor involved.
ear or hearing?
