Be serious. What is your emergency contingency place? How will you survive various emergency situations?
What training do you have, what gear do you have, what resources do you have access to, what plan do you have?
Be serious. What is your emergency contingency place? How will you survive various emergency situations?

None. Lots of guns and knives but don’t shoot often or think about what I’d do beyond stupid zombie scenarios. I live in a safe white are.
Like looking into a mirror.
die probably.
>What is your emergency contingency place?
Depends on the context, but pretty much all of them involve consuming a LOT of amphetamines first.
I have type 1 diabetes because God hates me so my plan for any serious society disrupting event is to just fall over dead
None to all, I will die. Just as my government wants.
I am prepping by building a bunker, stockpiling freeze dried food, making a full suit of bullet resistant armor, stockpiling ammo, and a few useful guns. Guns are 2 pistols of different caliber, a shotgun, and a hunting rifle. Wish I had the certifications for an automatic weapon, but that would cut into my budget too much.
The armor suit is too heavy without a vehicle or an animal, and an animal is a b***h to take care of in an enclosed space. Unironically consider a bicycle and stockpiling some repair components for it.
It will be fairly light and not worn often. It is fiber glass fabric layer and glued with fiber glass epoxy and compressed. The whole suit will weigh less than a suit of medieval plate, but be less flexible due to the thickness of the fiber glass plates. I am already training to be able to travel decent distances under the weight. I can go about 10 miles in a day with 50 lbs of weight. I have thought of adding some braces to my legs and back to help support the weight and keep me mobile for longer. I have also thought about adding some kangaroo shoes to the rig to improve running speed. People have been able to run 30 mph with those things on.
Hello, based skitzo armorer Anon!
That’s fricking terrifying
I am planning to paint mine when I am done and give it a matte finish. I am going for a bucket helmet design. I need to make a bunch of molds to get started. I just recently found out about fiberglass bullet proof armor.
That's cool it's like the poor man's version of Hunters from The Division. Once painted that'll be cool. The clear visor is kinda lol though
New purge movie looks horrific.
All that shit will come in handy when someone like me takes it from you. Thanks!
Extreme weather, big bad supply chain collapses, power outages, mild civic instability: Have food, power, firearm, training, and friends who know to come to where I'm at if things ever look grim.
Nuclear war, the habbening, aliums etc: Hopefully die instantly. There's just some stuff you don't wanna live through, like being in an air bubble in a sunken ship.
Die
I have 5 gals of water and a benelli m4 and some cigarettes ill do alright
I'd say solar flare/nuclear attack is probably the likeliest SHTF situation to happen in my lifetime assuming i'm not incinerated in the blast I live in the country so i'll be insulated from anything big for probably a few days to weeks by then i'm hunting anything I can find in the everglades
python kebabs crispy seasoned with old bay bet you're hungry fellow wastelander
Mmmm. Python is good eating.
I'm gonna load up my colt single action, waltz out my front door and just start blasting whomever in the head, I don't give a frick who it is, my neighbor, the mailman, a fricking wendigo. I will prevail. Maybe it's the apocalype, maybe it's buy one get one 50% at buffalo wild wings I just don't fricking give a FRICK.
Is that BUD/S? How long do you think that guy was doing lunges for?
>What is your contingency plan?
That's a vague question without more context but a lot of them involve suicide, possibly preceded by a lot of raping and whatever recreational drugs I have lying around.
>What training do you have?
Computer based
>What training do you have, what gear do you have, what resources do you have access to, what plan do you have?
- conscription service, hiking/hunting/fishing experience, construction/farming experience
- guns, hiking/hunting/fishing/construction/farming equipment, radio gear, solar and crank power sources
- a house and a cabin with storages of gear/food/water, a car
- in case of bad event, go to cabin. In case of huge bad event, drive south or north if that increases odds of making it.
Go to my parents place. They live in the middle of the country side, have a big house, raise farm animals, grow vegetables, and even have a well if current water stops working.
Your challenge is reaching the location then anon. That’s the hardest part.
You're absolutely right, considering I need more than a fuel tank to reach them, about 800-1000km depending on the path I choose. After a nuclear happening, it wouldn't be much better than having to reach another planet. My house is still technically in the countryside, but in a much more populated area since I live between two large cities, so less than ideal for most shtf scenarios. At least I have food and water reserves and obviously guns, but my best bet is having good relationship with my neighbors who are mostly families with kids and old people.
My house
Because I'm prepared
Im not a larping moron
Well on site
I am friends with my neighbors.
>stay in my apartment
>eat my canned food and rice for three months
>collect water from the local river at night and purify it with my life straw and/or UV purifier
>block my door with my couch
>hope things get better or die
I store additional calories (thousands of them) on my body so that when SHTF I don't have to eat so much
I live in a 99% white community (the 1% are the few Boomers who got Flip mail-orders).
We have a strong community, volunteer fire brigade, sporting and social clubs, a community garden and markets etc.
I've got solar power and batteries, fruit trees and a garden, with more garden space if I dig up the lawn.
There's only one road into town.
Enough of us have enough guns to keep it that way.
>nobody survives long alone
You need to see the big picture.
Why worry about thing that are not going to happen?
On a serious note, I have conscription training, some farming knowledge from my grandparents, I'm used to not eating much (borderline skelly my entire life) and I'm asocial so loneliness is not an issue. Granted, human race ends with me but whatever. Without most of the stuff modern civilization gives us life is kinda boring anyway.
>contingency place
cemetery
>What training do you have
criminal law, basic police forensics course
>rice, beans, ketchup, corn starch lube and .58 cal percussion minie rifle
>sit around, read Yockey`s Imperium, maybe finally try to achieve prostate orgasm with improvised massager made of old aluminium brake handle (anodized ofc, so I wont get poisoning)
Reminder that if you don't have a plan for bugging out, then you're an absolute fricking moron. 1.3% of adults in the US were forced to leave their home due to natural disasters in 2022, with about .87% being away from home for more than a week and .22% having their home destroyed:
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/jan/06/us-adults-displaced-natural-disasters-survey-census-bureau
This shit is vastly more likely than the action hero scenarios posters here jerk off to where simply having any gun whatsoever wouldn't be enough to get you out of the situations safely.
I keep a pack with some clothes and other necessities should I need to evacuate for whatever reason (I don't live in a disaster prone area so it's pretty unlikely)
Everyone talking about the fricking end of days with any certainty are LARPers with overactive imaginations. If shit really does collapse on that scale I'll probably find a nice bridge to jump off.
my plan is to get wiped out in the blastwave. I was in the infantry in the marines, grew up camping, backpack regularly, and frick living in the wilderness. I've been homeless before, I can switch on the scav mentality if I wanted. I have a fully stocked go bag, half a dozen guns, medkit, and years of training. I wouldn't last a month if shit went down. even shorter if it's a kinetic scenario or if it's winter. I'm in Denver, this is like target numero uno if aliens or russians get crazy.
I live in the northeastern corridor, there is no contingency plan.
drink until coma white
Also what's the deal with all the demoralization posts ? Any true /k/ommando has the sacred duty to try to survive against all odds, or at the very least to leave that existence with the biggest firework as possible. Is this place really overrun by glowies and trannies ?
A real life apocalypse scenario won't be le based battle royale, like the video games and movies depict. Cormac McCarthy had the right idea.
It will be a miserable, soul-crushing slog. You won't be some sort of based post-apocalypse warlord. If you're to survive for any length of time, you will be a wretched half-feral creature, doing things that will haunt you to continue an existence that hates you.
Your greatest enemy will not be raiders or ZOG blue helmets or anything nearly quite so exciting and morally justifiable to kill.
You will be fighting other, equally desperate individuals, maybe people with families they need to provide for; that sort of thing.
You the kind of guy to take a unarmed families last bit of food at gunpoint to sustain your existence?
But then, people won't be your main problem.
Natural will.
One overhunted by a few dozen million people who had the same idea you did.
Infections, weather, yada yada. Turns out theres a lot of things that can kill you innawoods.
I suppose in a manner of speaking, dying of severe dysentery could be interpreted as "Leaving this existence with the biggest firework possible"
Sperg out and shoot everything in sight until I get bored or run out of ammo. Then suicide by cop/soldier.
A car that often has a full tank of gas.
That's pretty much it.
>What training do you have
N/A
>what gear do you have
Not even a sleeping bag
>what resources do you have access to
My online banking account which will surely stay available once the power/internet goes out. Oh, and about half a week worth of groceries I guess.
>what plan do you have?
Stay inside and wait for things to get better
>What is your emergency contingency place? How will you survive various emergency situations?
That depends on if the state/feds/someone else is going to working to restore order within a few days. If not, you're looking at a serious natural or man made disaster that you should be evacuating from. And yes, that's including the vast majority of people who aren't prepared for such a situation who will start to panic if no one is working to restore order as a serious disaster.
If someone is showing up to work to restore order, then either continue with my normal life if possible, volunteer to help, or get comfy at home while they do their thing.
For long term hardships like real hyperinflation, Great Depression 2, or similar, stock up on the luxuries you enjoy that would cease to be available to help keep up morale. Any event where stocking up on basic needs would be an issue would end up back in the serious natural or man made disaster category that you should be evacuating from. Anything else isn't worth prepping for.
Frick it we ball
The best contingency is making a network of people tight enough that you can fall back on them, and that they can fall back on you. Also have a solid grasp of what exactly your position will be in this network you have made for yourself.
There is strength in numbers
individuals will coalesce into small gangs to survive
small gangs will coalesce into clans and tribes to survive
clans and tribes may, after The End comes, eventually coalesce into proto-states of the post apocalyptic future
Guns? Ammo? Food?
No.
SOCIALIZE.
Picrel
Despite the apparent fake nature of the corona shit, I've spent first few months of 2020 cocooned in my house.
I've learned a few things, but mostly the issues I need to address are electricity generation, and water collection and storage. Few moves like collecting a water tank to gutters and installing a few stealthy solar panels facing the yard with a little bluetti station creating a microgrid, I can stay holed up forever.
Oh and I've got 30 gallons worth of potable water and a water filter... and if need be I'll go down to the river and get some to boil.
I'm not telling the google AI overlord anything else though.
I have a couple 5 gallon buckets sealed and full of rice, beans and spam. I don't like spam which is why I chose it. I also put salt and peanutbutter in there.
I have a solar charger and a propane heater but solar charger is only good for a cell phone and the propane take is only good for a few hours of heat. I also have trees and a fireplace if I need to.
I have 16 gallons of gas in the garage with sta-bil and I keep my tank full.
If shit goes down, I'm either staying home or loading up and driving backroads until I get somewhere else.
As for weapons, I have more ammo than I could ever survive needing and enough guns to give 1 to every neighbor.
That said, I'm on blood pressure meds, wear contacts... I figure I'm solid for a couple of months but if order isn't restored by then it wouldn't be good.
>shoot everything that moves
>then I move
>pains over.
funny how no one in these threads ever seems to plan for financial emergencies, outside of having like 2k in silver.
You mean like what:
talked about?
>funny how no one in these threads ever seems to plan for financial emergencies,
I don't know what you mean. I don't consider financial preparedness to be in the same world but yeah, you should have an emergency fund and retirement savings.
Take over a local resort island. use the initial panic to secure roads, and strategic points. Most people would be fleeing. the largest obstacle is convincing enough people its the right move.
What most survivalists miss is how humans are inherantly a cooperative species. Almost regardless of scenario I'd try to form a tight nit group with a broad skill set as soon as possible. Anyone with knowledge of farming or gardening, hunting and fishing, and very importantly medicine, would be invaluable. Going Inna woods shooting durrs and hiding from drones is only going to last as long as your rations do or until you get a scrape in the wrong place.
My plan would to be establish a landed compact between a group of likeminded, peace loving, but well armed people. Build up population and assets, then send convoys to take all the shit from the dumbasses who kept themselves in a locked down compound alone who would have invariably died of starvation or offed themselves. Share and trade with others as much as possible, establish peaceful relations as soon as possible so we can make use of whatever limited resources we have to produce what we can and establish a viable zone of control.
After Armageddon if Im lucky I might just survive, but so help me God my family and community will thrive because of what I do. Anything mortal that'd like to challenge that can argue with 30-06.
This in like worst case scenario collapse, but more generally having an emergency plan should 100% contain a network of folks. Whether it be man made or natural an emergency situation is almost always best delt with more than one person. Folks can usually keep shit together long enough for emergency services to kick in enough.
I guess it's not so much a plan as it is my experience living through one. Hurricanes are something else
Call the police, like a white person in a first-world country.
Survive until winter. Unless Finland fricking invaded us, no modern military can withstand operating for more than a few days in the temperatures I get.
Training: EMT-B cert, a few flatrange courses, 7-8 backpacking trips a year, weekly hikes in the mountains, climbing, BJJ and boxing 3 times a week
Equipment: about 2 weeks worth of freeze dried food at any given time, fishing gear, lots of ammo, my own house with a garden, enough guns for a small group of friends, $1000 cash
>How will you survive various emergency situations?
Go with the flow and probably die.
>What training do you have
Handyman skills: I do my own plumbing, electrical, telco, IT, and mechanical maintenance, and do some woodworking. I'm relearning welding too after forgetting how to do it after high school.
Bugging in at my mom's house with all my extra food, water and gear/guns. I have enough food and water for 3 months. If there is a SHTF scenario that will last longer than that, I will just KMS.
My family used to own half of all the market gardens in my city until the 90's when they sold them and moved out to the country to go large scale. When COVID lockdowns were looking pretty fricking grim, I just went 4x4ing to avoid main roads that were being blocked and called my grandpa to let him know I was taking up living in the walled property at the rear of a block his earthmover rental business sat on, not far from his property. Back then I'd just installed the basics like a solar and generator system, groundwater pump and purifier, rain catchment and food stores, but he left the property to me in his will and I've expanded it since. Sadly I can't spend enough time there to keep a constant rotation of crops, but I have the space, equipment and massive stockpiles for rapid germination and high-yield growth for any time of the year.
COVID was a pretty excellent dry-run for determining timing and preparedness, as well as a reality check for just how authoritarian the government could become in such a short time, as well as the amount of materiel needed to get myself up and running. It also demonstrated that even concerted law enforcement searches couldn't locate me, as a neighbour snitched that someone had driven onto the property, in violation of lockdown rules, and yet after 4 attempts to navigate the property, they still came no where near finding me. Unfortunately, I have a girlfriend and kid now, so all my planning and practice will be insufficient if the time does actually come.
I can run for 30 minutes at an 8 minute mile pace, have 50 home depot buckets, and a mosin with 2000rds I can take apart and put back together with my eyes closed.
I think I'll be fine.
I will become a homeless person taking meth and molesting women in the streets of Santa Monica.
Go on the offense.
Hoarding lots of food. Learning to can and preserve. Just pressure canned a bunch of meat this week. Know how to shoot. Working on getting a secondary source of heat that doesn't rely on the grid. Probably will last stand on my property if cityBlack folk try to rush me.
>What is your emergency contingency place?
My house is the Alamo for my family. I'm not going anywhere.
>What training do you have
Army, competitive shooting, 15+ years of combat sports and martial arts, outdoors shit
>what gear do you have
Guns, ammo, body armor, tons of shelf stable food from the Mormon Cannery and MREs, medical shit etc.
>what resources do you have access to
Anything me and my best friend can take from the port including tools, fuel, food etc. We live near a source of fresh water as well. Also networks.
>what plan do you have?
Sit tight and wait for our county sheriff to sweep out the nigs and see if the feds ever show up to reassert federal control.
