Algeria sounds like quite the regional power, with a large and modern air force, and (lol) more T-90s than Russia.
Then, they don't have much of a navy.
Egypt would be another serious contender, especially since acquiring the Mistral landing ships. It looks like these billions of $$$ in US military aid aren't just used to buy villas for generals and shisha tobacco for sergeants.
>Algeria sounds like quite the regional power,
Lmao it's not. The algerian military is less of a military and more of an administrative unit.
They can't even protect their own vital facilities

And most of the generals are into smuggling networks in and out of algeria.

They're arab countries. They're all corrupt as fuck and would never hold their own against a white country, but by Arab standards, they're powerful, and could hold their own against another corrupt army, be it a Sheikh's vanity piece or a post-pseudo-Socialist state army.
That's because the foreign power can't win an insurgency war. You can kill rebels, but but every rebel you kill is someone's son, brother, father, husband, and you now have the rebel's entire family out for your ass. You manage to block their arms deliveries? They'll stab your soldiers and make IEDs.
France could never hope to win in Algeria, despite its successful military operations to cut off supplies from abroad, just like the US could never hope to win in Vietnam or Afghanistan, or the Soviets in Afghanistan.
Well, there's a way to "win", and that is to kill every single person out there, but with the international reaction you'd get, you'd think - rightfully - that a defeat would have been much better.

My bet would be Egypt as well. Despite the endemic corruption and instability they are at least large and well equipped and haven't gotten the shit kicked out of them by a smaller neighbour for what, 50 years? Shouldn't Morocco also rank pretty high? From my limited knowledge they seem like a decent contender. There's obviously Iran and Turkey too but that depends on how strictly we're defining "arab"

Dyes exist anon. But yeah you can have browner or dark brown or jet black hair as an arab.
headcanon
You need to get your brain off PrepHole or 4chan where you think people exist as caracitures in a one size fits all solution. There was never any gigantic horde of billions of nomads from the steppe coming in. Not to mention the far greater influx of non-anatolian blood during Turkish rule was Circassian/Greek/Slavic waifus. One generation and you can get rid of half the oriental look to someone. Another generation of a East European/Caucasus concubine and they are as yellow as a marshmellow.
I would submit the Moroccans for consideration. Not because I think they are the strongest, but I am curious how they would stack up against other Arab armies, as they are constantly fighting a low level insurgency against Western Sahara separatists. This must count for something.
This may only apply if you exclude the Mediterranean and Levantine Arabs, as in only calling the Arabs from the actual peninsula "Arabs". As shown

I've seen various shades of color with Arabs, especially in the coastal Levant and North Africa.

Same thing. Al-Uzzat might have originally been its own thing but it's been conflated with El since forever, and of course Yahweh is simultaneously conflated with El but distanced from Baal, even though El and Baal are the same thing in the original semitic pantheon. The first depiction of Yahweh even has his wife or concubine Asherah(Ishtar, Astarte, Ashtoreth, etc))
Turks are super mixed. If you go western parts of Turkey it's not possible to distinguish Turks from any other eastern European or Greek. If you go north, they look more like Slavs/Greek mix. If you go southeast, practically Arab. The way to distinguish Turks is talking about the Armenian Genocide. If they react aggressively, they're Turks.
I've been there. I've seen them. Your opinions on the other hand may have been influenced by PrepHole memes. They also have black guys selling fake watches.
They all suck absolute dick and all their advanced hardware means nothing because its a bunch of debatably literate unpaid conscripts using it and being led by inbred nepotist officers more interested in sabotaging one another than winning a war.
I have read one or two sources that said the omani army are actually competent so them, also they have challengers
The important question is which Arabic army or paramilitary group has the best music, preferably the kind played nonstop and cranked up to max volume on some shitty speakers in a hookah bar. And they said American troops used loud music as a psychological weapon. I doubt that was very effective to be perfectly honest. Also videos of guys balling out with whatever goofy equipment they've acquired and jumping through flaming hula hoops grants bonus points and enhances combat effectiveness.
Turkey or Iran is the strongest. If we don't count Israel as "Arab" I'm not sure if Israel could pull off a 1 vs all these days, in modern times, though.
Probably turkey, since they have cheap drones that force the enemies anti air to be somewhat competent.
Which just isn't the case in the magical realm of arabia.
Hezbollah is a tiny nothing of a militant group that got steamrolled by the Israelis in K:D and would get steamrolled by any Arab army that isn't Lebanon. Maybe with better ratios but they'd still lose.
>Hezbollah is a tiny nothing of a militant group that got steamrolled by the Israelis in K:D and would get steamrolled by any Arab army that isn't Lebanon. Maybe with better ratios but they'd still lose.
Hezbollah made Israel run out of Lebanon in 2006 and drop every inch of occupied territory there to Hezbollah. Israel doesn't even attempt to do airstrikes against Hezbollah.
Just a few weeks ago when rockets were flying from Lebanon into Israel from Palestinian militants there, you still had Israel careful not to fire back at Hezbollah and get them involved. Israel according to their own words are existentially AFRAID of Hezbollah and Iran alike.
Nah its a show. Hezbollah leadership doesnt actually want to win, just prolong the conflict to gain more power. And isreal is just massively schzio about how they handke the issue
>Hezbollah made Israel run out of Lebanon in 2006
Sure, but that the Israelis decided to leave in the end doesn't mean Hezbollah didn't get crushed in engagements. >You still had Israel careful not to fire back at Hezbollah and get them involved
Why would they? Hezbollah wasn't firing them. Hamas was.
I wouldn't put overly much stock in Israeli fear. They bomb the IRGC and Hezbollah every week in Syria. The Israelis just don't want to give Hezbollah an excuse to launch rockets from Lebanon.
>Hezbollah might unironically be the strongest Arab army just based off of competency and track record alone.

and they don't even have an airforce, mechanized units or navy to speak of. imagine what they would be capable of if they had more funding and advanced gear. they would probably steamroll the entire Levant in a week given their versatility and experience
jesus fucking christ how does a country or even a people like this function day to day? is this a recent phenomenon or has it been like this for centuries?
i've only heard horror stories of egyptian police at airports and on the street but how the fuck is their military expected to kill zionists if they prevent actual learning?
lol yeah right. you know the israeli's ended up defeating the egyptians there and crossing the suz canal? in fact they kept progressing until the were withing 100km of cairo, only stopping after a ceasefire. the egyptians only managed to have initial victories because they decided to attack on the holiest day in judaism, catching the israeli's complety of guard. it's more of a failure of the part of israeli intelligence
yes i know the war ended up very bad for egypt due to sadat forcing his troops out of the SAM cover and the subsequent encirclement of the third army but the execution of Badr itself and the few days after that was remarkably good for an arab army, good enough that it shifted israeli public and millitary opinion of egypt just enough to make peace desirable for israel >The 1973 war convinced the Israelis of the necessity of negotiations with the Arabs. This unprecedented willingness, coupled with Sadat's diplomatic initiatives and intercession by the United States to break barriers of mistrust between Egypt and Israel, made possible the long series of discussions between both nations. The negotiations ultimately resulted in the 1978 Camp David Agreements, and the peace treaty between Egypt and Israel in 1979. Thus, without resorting to another major war, Sadat had been able to regain the Sinai through diplomatic means.[149]
>only managed to have initial victories because they decided to attack on the holiest day in judaism
there were also victories after that, during the first israeli counterattacks
>At the start of the war, U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger believed that the better-equipped Israelis would secure victory within a few days,[138] and thus tried to delay a ceasefire in the United Nations Security Council. >The counterattack on 8 October however, came against American expectations. Kissinger was taken aback when told of the extent of Israel's losses on the morning of 9 October by Israeli Ambassador Simcha Dinitz, and asked "Explain to me, how could 400 tanks be lost to the Egyptians?"
>yes i know the war ended up very bad for egypt due to sadat forcing his troops out of the SAM cover and the subsequent encirclement of the third army but the execution of Badr itself and the few days after that was remarkably good for an arab army, good enough that it shifted israeli public and millitary opinion of egypt just enough to make peace desirable for israel
peace was always desirable for israel. israel has always been willing to trade territory for peace. so it's not that suprising that Israel agreed to trade the sinai for peace with egypt. anyone would be a fool to want to be in a state of constant war with their neighbours. the peace deal was never popular in the arab world though. an i am sure most people in egypt are still against it to this day
>israel has always been willing to trade territory for peace.
not after they settled sinai following the six day war,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamit
mind you all of this was perfectly reasonable at the time because the israeli belief that the arabs were not a threat, >... also reflects the contempt Israelis held for the military abilities of Arab neighbors Egypt and Syria. The 1967 preemptive victory was so complete and won so cheaply, Israelis viewed their military forces as invincible, their intelligence service as unmatched, and their Arab foes as inferior and incapable.[10] >The Israelis expected a forty-eight-hour warning beforehand from their intelligence services. At any rate, they were confident that any Arab attack would be swiftly decimated by the IAF.[10][46]
even after camp david right wingers from all across israels went Yamit to try and sabotage the treaty
(picrel), peace wasnt always desirable for israel because it wasnt seen as necessary
>not after they settled sinai following the six day war,
yeah they settled the first sinai first during the six day war. the reason why they did suprise strikes on arab armies was because they believed their armiers were a threat.
even to this day israel is willing to give the golan for peace: https://abcnews.go.com/International/story?id=4709060&page=1
the idea that peace wasn't desirable for israel is obviously bullshit. the reason israel took the territories in the first place is so they have buffers and be in favorable positions when negotioating. btw right wing israelis aren't representative of the entire israel.
it's the arabs that have always rejected peace: https://www.timesofisrael.com/golda-meir-offered-egypt-part-of-sinai-for-peace/

lol yeah right. you know the israeli's ended up defeating the egyptians there and crossing the suz canal? in fact they kept progressing until the were withing 100km of cairo, only stopping after a ceasefire. the egyptians only managed to have initial victories because they decided to attack on the holiest day in judaism, catching the israeli's complety of guard. it's more of a failure of the part of israeli intelligence
yes i know the war ended up very bad for egypt due to sadat forcing his troops out of the SAM cover and the subsequent encirclement of the third army but the execution of Badr itself and the few days after that was remarkably good for an arab army, good enough that it shifted israeli public and millitary opinion of egypt just enough to make peace desirable for israel
>The 1973 war convinced the Israelis of the necessity of negotiations with the Arabs.
Kissinger was taken aback when told of the extent of Israel's losses on the morning of 9 October by Israeli Ambassador Simcha Dinitz, and asked "Explain to me, how could 400 tanks be lost to the Egyptians?"

peace was always desirable for israel. israel has always been willing to trade territory for peace. so it's not that suprising that Israel agreed to trade the sinai for peace with egypt. anyone would be a fool to want to be in a state of constant war with their neighbours. the peace deal was never popular in the arab world though. an i am sure most people in egypt are still against it to this day
>israel has always been willing to trade territory for peace.
not after they settled sinai following the six day war,
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yamit
mind you all of this was perfectly reasonable at the time because the israeli belief that the arabs were not a threat,
>... also reflects the contempt Israelis held for the military abilities of Arab neighbors Egypt and Syria. The 1967 preemptive victory was so complete and won so cheaply, Israelis viewed their military forces as invincible, their intelligence service as unmatched, and their Arab foes as inferior and incapable.[10]
>The Israelis expected a forty-eight-hour warning beforehand from their intelligence services.
Saudi's by expenditure but they're getting butt kicked by Houthis on camels.
Egyptians are most likely the strongest.
>Can't beat Israel
>Can't beat Iran
>Can't beat Iran using VPN (starving houtis)
Maybe they're just low IQ? Equipment means nothing here.
You mean what is the least shit Arab army. Describing any of them as strong feels like a stretch.
