It never fired a shot in Russian service. May it fire many successful shots under the Ukranian banner.

Dissect the thermal imaging unit to judge how far along indigenous Russian thermal manufacturing is. I'd imagine that's the main thing they're interested in. Pretty much everything else they already know.

That doesn't sound like it would require sending the entire tank. Get Ukraine to send them the Indigenous Russian sight and replace it with the French unit it's a copy of. Probably an upgrade anyways.

                >indigenous Russian thermal manufacturing
                >Russian
That's an odd way to say "French"

This specific example is apparently one of the Russian clones of the French scope. We should send Ukraine a proper French one in exchange for the Russian clone for Langley.

SOSNA-U is the gunner sight with a French Thales thermal imager.
This tank has PNM-T, which replaced the Thales imager with a Russian-made one by Orion

That thermal covering is pretty legit. I didn't even know Russia even issued that let alone made it.

Will be cool to have so every thermal AI can have a direct copy of it's thermal signature under cover to use in the future.

I like the little tank snuggie they've got it wrapped in. I saw someone call it a seethe shroud earlier.
