For me the most tactical animal is Uroplatus sikorae or the southern leaf tail gecko
Here is why I think the Southern leaf tail gecko is the most tactical animal and if it evolved to have human like intelligence and the ability to use weapons we would stand ZERO chance
1. They wear a ghillie suit 24/7
2. They can see full color at night
4. They can climb verticle walls and even upside down on completely flat surfaces like glass
The only thing the southern leaf tail gecko is missing as a reptile is that they are nonvenomous so they wouldn't be able to spit on their bullets to make them more lethal like some other reptiles
I highly doubt anyone on here can come up with an animal that is more tactical than the mother fricking southern leaf tail gecko
I mean imagine you are in the woods at night in combat and you get sniped by a gecko hanging upside down perfectly camouflaged against the bark of a large tree and it can see you perfectly at night in full color
Literally evolved GPNVG before it was real
Only sustain itself on kills
Sex is a death struggle at times
Most /k/ creature
Jumping spiders are a good choice. IDK about how good their eye sight is at night but their situational awareness would be unmatched and their agility is insane
Very cool critters
It's kind of amazing to think that humans despite being massively visual creatures didn't develop night vision like other animals.
Bald Eagle
Head's already shaved
Pistol shrimp.
Hear me out
>Sees in stupid numbers of colors
>Ambush predator
>Punches with more power than a fricking .22
>Dressed like a murderhobo clown
>Swivel mounted eyes
>Heavily armored on all sides.
>Still fricks your mother on sundays
>nobody is even mentioning the worlds apex land predator
>theyre all listing geckos and shit
Lmao this board is moronic
>doesn’t mention the animal
what did he mean by this?
Totally forgot my picture. Guess im moronic too
Case in point
The tiger is by far the worst choice. They literally offern nothing other than extreme agility and sharp claws and teeth.
A tiger bit by a venemous snake for instance can die within hours
There are species of animals that essentially have superpowers. Those are the species of animals that would, if evolved to be highly intelligent rule the world.
>disregarding the nice camo
At least give some credit.
The worlds apex land predator is man which makes the thread lame moron
Apex land predator is a grizzly. Could easily defeat anything else.
man
ants rule the jungle
Man ofc
Too easy, we need to find the less obvious choice. For example,
has it right. Do you have any idea the 40k tier scale ant colony wars happen at?
Ants and bees/wasps are a good choice because of their willingness to fight for the cause and their teamwork
>For example,

well thank you. I stayed in the jungle in Belize once in a literal hut for a few days-a five mile mud hike from the nearest small town. the locals said "if the ants march through, just take your things and leave. they'll eat everything you don't hang from the rafters and there's nothing you can do about it." I'm not sure if it was the same species, but the leafcutter ants had ripped these perfect tunnels through the underbrush big enough for a bear to run through.
>Blue ringed octopus
Dogs, probably. They're the most practical for sure
A mountain lion
>excellent night vision
>can kill most things walking around
>top tier stalker
