What is the most credible, easiest gun to make DIY?

As in requires the least components, components are commonly accessible, etc. The only one I found is microwave guns (you only need a microwave and a few other household items). That shit will fry somebody. Also, HARDMODE: no powder propellant allowed. Just something that you can MacGuyver into a gun.

>inb4 Gauss rifle
The only "DIY" ones I've seen are like bb gun toys. You do have the Arc Flash GR-1 Anvil, but good luck making that at home (the damn thing has computers working in it).

>inb4 railgun
Again, good luck at making this at home. I've seen some people do it, but they're nowhere near as powerful as the ones the military uses, and they require too much electronics and shit to get it to work.

>muzzleloader vs. breechloader
A breech-loading weapon would be easier to build (in principle) but all you'll need next are the bullets. Muzzleloader would require you to make gunpowder. And since we're using this demonstration, matches and cartridges are off-limits (hell, what would you even use for the primer?).

Just knowing in case resources become limited in a war situation. Interested in finding out wartime improv.

anyone with metal on them will absorb more energy than the gun could possibly overcome with out some massive battery

Lasers found in projectors are insanely powerful. Given enough power output they can instantly and permanently blind anyone in the room and burn a hole through sheet metal. Given how compact lipo batteries are it’s certainly possible… if a bit expensive.
Alternatively pipe shotguns are always a cheap option. With the right technique you can insert a shell into the opposite end, flip it, and fire the spent cartridge, giving you a slightly faster reload speed than a single action. They are surprisingly compact and even disposable, perfect for the renegade civilian.
Also slingshots are quite capable of lethality. Some people have claimed having the same muzzle energy as a .44 magnum. That’s probably BS but the results are hard to argue. If firing steel balls sounds too weak you should look up pana darts. Again, these are easy and disposable weapons, as well as silent.

      >That’s probably BS
It is BS. First off, they are talking about *slings* (the corded device with a pocket to contain a projectile which you spin around your head and then release), not *slingshots* (a forked stick with a rubber band).
Second, the claim is that a sling has has the same MOMENTUM as a .44 magnum. Not the same thing as energy, and easily confused by morons.

Joerg Sprave did invent a slingshot (a rubber slingshot fired by hand pulling) that had the momentum of a .44 magnum. Less energy, not the same effect on target obviously.

muzzleloading gun, could be a rifle or a handgun, they're equally easy to build.
    >what would you even use as a primer
matchheads, caps from toy guns, blanks from starter pistols or nail guns. There's also a number of early primer recipes which happen to be corrosive but are quite easy to make, picrel is just one old gun book which contains that information. It has info on making powder as well. Black powder is easy to make and the components aren't hard to find. There's also electronic ignition which could be as simple as a piece of resistive wire that gets hot when current is applied to it, you could easily scavenge that from a hair dryer or an electric heater.

    >A breech-loading weapon would be easier to build (in principle)
Lolno, you have that backwards. Put a cap on the end of a piece of pipe. Congrats, you just made a muzzleloader barrel.

    >but all you'll need next are the bullets. Muzzleloader would require you to make gunpowder
Any kind of firearm will require both bullets and powder. The tolerance for muzzleloader bullets are sloppier than they are for breech-loading so that's the easier choice. Or use shot.

I think the point is that microwave guns are the easiest to make in terms of simplicity and highest in terms of damage, unlike some shitty crossbow or ballistic knife in terms of ranged weapons. Muzzleloaders can most certainly be made, but they would be pointless in some scenarios (like home defense). If you live in a cuck country you can salvage a microwave to build a simple magnetron gun and after you're finished simmering and cooking your intruders to a crisp, bury them in your backyard, assuming self-defense is illegal also.

It would be helpful to actually understand microwave physics. It's easy to get the magnetron from a microwave oven. Optimizing the wavegate is more challenging.

I have thought about a 4 magnetron device. The wavegate would be a stainless steel bowl with magnetron in the center and the other 3 slightly above it in 120 degree pattern. Not sure if it's optimal, but it makes sense.

Some of his stuff was legit. But this one and a few others are faked

Any kind of weapon you could make out of a microwave would suck ass, you would be better off just throwing the thing. At best you'll give them some burns if you get them to stick their head in the antenna horn for long enough

Are you moronic? Muzzleloaders can use practically anything as ammunition, what, you cant get gravel or ball bearings?
You know there were hundreds of years between the invention of the gun and the invention of the primer. Any moron can rig up a system to put fire on powder.
