I know a lot about guns. But, I don't really know the cultural significance an airfryer has. I know a couple of years ago, people were buying them, but I didn't really need another cooking implement.
    >what does airfryer imply in this context.

Airfryers are just small convection ovens
It's a pretty handy appliance and is great for frying, reheating and baking.

You fell for the toaster oven with a fan meme.

It's better for leftover pizza and taquitos imo. Needed a new toaster anyway.

Some gay AsSeenOnTV bullshit that you get gifted, then find out it's actually pretty much better in all aspects to a countertop toaster oven or broiler. It's just a countertop convection oven, but better than the former.

      So... hi-point carbine?

It’s a counter top convection oven, equivalent to the rice cooker and bread maker in terms of usefulness and necessity. It’s handy and convenient but not entirely needed.

What is the gun equivalent of an air fryer

First we need to establish what a regular oven is. Would the AR-15 count? It’s lighter and handier than the AR-10 and other guns and has a lot of uses. Plus it’s rather cheap, numerous, has a bunch of plastic, and often times disposable. But at the same time, comparing the venerable AR-15 to an air fried seems rather contrarian. Maybe the AR-18 then? But the AR-18, while itself had an underwhelming impact, did end up being the father and grandfather of all sorts weapons platforms to this day. Much like the ovens and convection ovens lead to the air fryer.
So in my opinion, the air fryer equivalent would be a modern trendy design that stems from other commonplace designs, it’s usually affordable, cheap, light, handy, and can do plenty of things but not the master of any, like an intermediate cartridge.
Conclusion: piston driven rifles like the SCAR, 416, T91 or gas operated roaring bolt guns in poly furniture like the CZ Bren and the Beretta ARX.

Rice cookers are just fancy steamers, as a result they are extremely useful because steaming on a stovetop sucks.

airfryers are nice if you don't want soggy microwave food or don't own an actual oven

Airfryers make stuff crispier. It is a fan in a toaster. It is better than a regular toaster (not the pop-up kind), but not as good as an oven. In my moronic take:

M2 .50 cal is an oven.
Glock 40 mos is an air fryer.
    Toaster is a Glock 17 or 19.
    Stove burner is an AR-15.
    Hi Point is a microwave.

I've never seen any of the single stack guns go for $600 new, maybe $450 tops. Most of the time I see them hovering around $399 new at gun stores because nobody fricking buys them over cheaper options (Ruger, Taurus, Lel-Kek, Mossberg) or more marketable options (Springfield, Sig).

Considering I'm a college student living in a guest house with no oven and cook most everything out of an air fryer, probably a Ruger LCP or similar cheap pocket 9mm or .380.
