Tasers have risk of being useless if you miss and not working against groups. But I have no idea if stun guns work at all. Obv I already use pepper spray

a 6-cell maglite like I said earlier. You cave the future astronaut's skull in and if you end up in court you just say the maglite is your regular jogging flashlight.
taser is better for range. Stun guns don't reliably incapacitate and if you have to get that close to an attacker, you're better off with a real weapon. Get a 6-cell maglite so you can cave their skull in.
