What if we sent AC 130s to Ukraine?

In spite of Russias crippled and fragmented AA network, it remains the absolute least permissive place to send one. It only takes one pantsir to still be operational to take one down.

They'd stay in the hangers until all the SAM batteries were destroyed. And by that point Ukraine would have all but won.

you keep parroting this but it's reached Moskva-sunk-itself tier own goal levels
      >the 1st Guards Tank Army was routed by Ukraine WITHOUT western equipment because it was all embezzled
that's MORE humiliating than just admitting you were routed

American's, do not send equipment to Ukraine, it is being given to your enemies. The Zelensky regime has already express delivered thousands of M31 guided rockets to Russia. They have been moved at night from Ukraine to Russian ammunition storage facilities in the DPR, LPR and Crimea.
Now the banderite Zelensky wants to transfer US made weapons system ATACMS to facilities in Russia proper, contact your member of congress and tell them we will not accept this.

Honestly you gays should take a tip from the chinks (not the shill westerners but actual chinks) and make your enemy look ridicuously badass. That way any victories won't look hollow to anyone but your serfs.

kind of a side note here, I thought AC-130's had wing pylons that could mount regular missiles, including HARMs? Or is it just for stuff like Hellfires and glide bombs?

      >1× 30 mm ATK GAU-23/A autocannon[102]
      >1× 105 mm M102 howitzer[103][104][105]
      >'Gunslinger' weapons system with launch tube for AGM-176 Griffin missiles and/or GBU-44/B Viper Strike munitions (10 round magazines)[8]
      >Wing mounted, AGM-114 Hellfire missiles, GBU-39 Small Diameter Bombs (SDBs), and/or GBU-53/B SDB IIs[8] (4 per hardpoint on BRU-61/A rack)[106][107]

Have they solved all the issues with the autocannon? I remember reading it would constantly shake its mount loose when firing bursts and require rezeroing, and other issues too.

nah same problem as the a10 in that it's only viable to deploy if you have full air superiority otherwise it's just a big slow target for AA and fighters.

It would be fucking beautiful to see Ivan get shredded by spookies. But like other anons have said. Even though russias air defenses are shit. They're still more than good enough to keep these grounded.

They would be shot down immediately.
    >large
    >slow
    >unmaneuverable
The ideal target for a SAM.

    >why haven't they sent a slow ass plane that's pretty much only useful against sand people armed with ak47s into a warzone where the enemy has fighter aircraft and AA
    I don't know anon, it's a mystery
