What if the president of Belarus is just playing 4D chess?

What if the president of Belarus is just playing 4D chess? Think about it once Russia starts losing he could simply just invade and take some parts of Russia on the border with Belarus. It wouldn't be condemned by the international community and china would be neutral.

      >It would be condemned
By who? The majority of the international community would not come to the defense of Russia unless you count other thirdie dictatorships as countries which I don't

There're laws against invasions, even if the invaded side is your enemy.

Did you forget that everybody in the international community including the UN supported the original invasion of Iraq?

The 1991? yes, they supported stop the Kuwait invasion. Not so much the 2003 that had a lot of backlash and sanctions. The "WMD" didn't make the cut.

Funny thing is, we found WMD's in Iraq and covered up the discovery because 1. We knew there was more but had no idea where it was and didn't want to risk a terrorist rush trying to find it to use and 2. Loads of people died clearing it up.

We've known this for 10 years. Why do people not know there were WMD's in the country which they promised they did not have and said they didn't have.

Russia is basically the only thing that kept him in power recently. A weak Russia is bad for him and if he invaded he'd be fighting two enemies at once (his own people and the Russian military)

Belarus has like 10 million people, random Russian peasants with small arms could fight them off. Unless Russia underwent serious balkanization Belarus wouldn't be able to do shit.

    he is.
He is a hostage of this situation, but he has been a real weasel during these times.
imho the worst was that he lost the election in Belarus and had to suppress the protests. Otherwise he has been dodging most shit, siding with Russia but not fully, being a mediator during Crimea crisis etc.

This moustached gay is smarter than people want to give him credit.
After the war Russia will go boom and Lukashenko will just pay some reparations, reestablish trade and Belarus will have economic growth like crazy, taking in all the EU goodies and Russia leftowers.

At this point I think every country that shares a border with Russia has drawn up serious plans for doing a landgrab as soon as the country implodes.
