Looks like they'd blow up all their flags and pictures then. You'd think if they went through the effort to decorate the tunnel walls, they'd go through the effort to save their mementos and keepsakes.
IDF isn't even going to enter tunnels, they're going to collapse them or seal them up. So it would do jackshit
Today in Jabalia IDF planted explosives underground to trigger a tunnel collapse, causing a chain reaction that caused a few Pali buildings to fall into a sinkhole. Killed 40-400 people depending on the source
I would be impressed if they could find every access point to the tunnels. Hamas has had decades to build them all, right? Though if the IDF has complete control of the surface, they can bring in whatever equipment they need and operate unimpeded. Unless someone else interferes.
Right, I figured they would. But how extensive are the networks? Do they run out to fields in the country? How small is the Gaza Strip, I am not familiar
>I would be impressed
I would be surprised if they couldn't. They have seismic sensors (such as are used by oil exploration companies to find shit miles underground), ground penetrating radar, etc.
What if everyone clapped?
That’s exactly what the idf wants them to do… they’re trying to clear the area. That’s their first objective
nah
half of em are buried in those tunnels
It would be a big help to Israel.

it would be better for hamas to rig the tunnels and just leave them undetonated and all the entrances open
force the IDF to waste a bunch of time exploring, EOD-ing them, and sealing them.
Why bother when a jdam makes the tunnel go away?
>spend 10 years building tunnels
>blow them up as soon as they become usefull
nice
The moment Hamas leaves the strip is the moment they'll never have it back.

Are you retarded?
They're not going to clear them tunnel to tunnel. As far as I understand the routine is to bury the entrances with debris via bulldozers

IDF has ground penetrating radar to find tunnels so presumably they follow the routes to find entrances

There are special detectors for finding tunnel entrances as well. It’s even easier than detecting regular tunnels

israel has an army of robot dogs to explore the tunnels
what's with the lipsticks?
