Since there's already a thread where a dude is about to get memed into an AUG due to muh vidya, what did you get memed into? I got memed into buying the a G19 as my first gun and I fucking hated it. Spongebob trigger with useless safety, shitty sights, still too big/heavy for summer EDC.
Did you not ask to hold and play with it at the store? damn, just do your own research.
If there is anything positive I can attribute to PrepHole it’s that they made me buy a Glock 19 and an AR15. I have never needed another gun in my life ever. Every time I thought that I need to have a new gun I fingerfucked and shot it and it was always only a meh improvement over the standard NPC loadout of a Glock/AR15.
I probably saved thousands of dollars by making the right purchase decision right away instead of buying an AK, an Aug, a BT556, a scar and all other guns I wanted to have, just to end up with a Glock and an Ar anyway.
Bullshit. Nobody can make do with just one AR. You need an 11.5 inch and 16 inch, respectively. You need a myriad of attachments, too. Optics, lights, lasers, suppressors.
Moneymoneymoney.
Not that guy but I only have 1 VN M16 for aesthetics, I shoot my other non AR 5.56s and .308s more because they’re more fun and enjoyable, ARs are boring and lame in comparison.
Just buy a new upper lmao
Lowers are so inexpensive there's basically no reason to have Multiple uppers unless have Multiple rifles
This is a man who buys shitty trigger kits.
I use milspec triggers but a La Rue trigger is only $115
>he can't shoot well with milspec triggers
Skill issue
I literally just bought a Larue MBT2 for $100/shipped.
If you want to buy the upper first and dress it up before buying the lower I completely get it but don't act like it's so impractical to have 2 actual functioning rifles.
I have a carry handle Colt from the 90s and no other ARs
>carry handle upper
Signs a gun owner is a pedophile
that would be owning an AK
shit i need a new upper
what’s the best carry handle upper?
Agree here just cause I like building uppers but the Glock thing is correct. I’ve had many handguns people people would say are better than the Glock but they’re never worth the juice.
>16 inch
11.5 and 20
Everything else is wrong
>11.5 inch and a 16 inch
Just get a pinned and welded 14.5 and call it a day. Fairly similar ballistics to a 16 and with a surefire mark 2 it's about the same overall length as an 11.5 with a suppressor anyway.
>need attachments
sounds like a skill issue, getting good with irons is all you really need. You're not going to be clearing rooms with fireteams or working in combined arms operations. All that tacticool shit is pure consoomer shilling
Only on nu-PrepHole will you get some gunless clown telling you that having optics is "consooming". It's gotten to the point where as soon as I see that term I know there's a 99% a blithering retard is posting. I get that the retarded gearqueers who swore you'd be dead if you didn't have the right of foregrip or $2k plate carrier setup needed to be countered but I really wish the counter wasn't just as fucking stupid.
tbh I've owned or shot most of the common production handguns and other weird ones because I really didn't want a glock. Now I only own a Glock 45 with a spare 19 frame and a 1911A1. The low bore axis and grip angle of the Glock results in a very flat shooting gun, add a red dot/good comp/light and you've got a gun that does CCW drills on easymode and you can still find holsters for it. The trigger isn't great but I prefer it to some of the other ones out there, and if we're being honest, if someone is pulling shots significantly with a handgun it's because they're shooting wrong or they have a 10 pound ny trigger.
I'm happy for you anon but I've sold every Glock I've owned because they're trash imo
but you also need a shotgun and a .22 rifle
maybe a hunting rifle too
SCAR > AR though
There's a reason ARs and Glocks are the go to for the best fighting forces in the world. I bought an AK as my first gun because I wanted to trick it out into a modern AK.
I did, then I bought an AR
same, agree. No reason to own anything else in the doublestack 9 and semi auto marketplace. All non-glock polyner handguns are absolutely meh compared to the glock 19.
As much as I agree with this for SHTF guns, I'd highly recommend you get ANY 12 gauge. Shit's just versitile and the rounds are common.
Also .45 cal carbines are good to train with and you should also own some kind of .22 cal retard gun to fuck with at the range. If you have the urge to buy anything else get some kind of 7.62 bolt action. You really don't need anything else.
>Retard can’t think for herself
>Seethes at everything regardless
>Lets herself get mad at things others enjoy
>Seethes even more and makes a slide thread about it
Like chud pottery

>hates trannies so much he uses their preferred pronouns
????? This chud shit is really getting to you huh
don't forget to dilate
/hg/ psyops people into buying M9s and PX4s daily
>Good and cheap = bad
?????
the PX4 is not cheap lol, especially considering you can get most flagship striker pistols for 350, usually including mags or a threaded barrel.
>/arg/ you NEED an LMT or you're a fucking poorfag thirdie
>/pccg/ MP5 is the ONLY option
>/akg/ just get one thats not stamped
>LMT
KAC or you're broke and /akg/'s spergery is unironically just as expensive as the other two.
the funniest part of that specific brand of slavaboo autism is that a milled AK is worse in every practical way, aside from resale value
>/akg/ just get one thats not stamped
For fucks sake please tell me the retarded milled meme isn't back
Milled norinco type 56 or bust
12 inch and 18 inch
Whichever is cheaper which is the CZ
And thats a good thing.
It's just one person pretending to be multiple people in that thread. And based on all the soda and goyslop photos he's well over 300 lbs
That’s me
Why the fuck would you listen to anyone's advice on PrepHole? We are retards who don't know jack shit about anything, we are hopelessly obsessed of some ridiculous idea that most other people find cringe, and our heads are full of inaccurate lore from whatever source we are stupid enough to believe.
If you take advice from here, you clearly don't know what the fuck you are doing.
One time i memed some tripfag into buying something. I think it was some optic for a scar.
Then when he posted his new build, i bullied him and claimed that i was a noguns European (even though I'm a red blooded American with many tasteful guns) he was ashamed lol
I didn't get psyopped but I impulse purchased the P10C for 400 bux during a summer sale + because my state was going to pass a licensing for new handguns. They didn't pass it.
Unless it's not possible to do so you should always rent-shoot a gun. All the advice in the world ain't fucking shit to actual experience with it.
>which is why I will never buy a glock because they were absolute trash to shoot
All the praise for the CZ-75 convinced me to get one and I love it.
Still wonder what might have been if I had become a Beretta man instead, though.
Same and I also love it.
I later got a 92x and it's also great, so there is still time for you anon.
I was memed into not buying an AUG for years, finally did eight years or so ago and love it
Same with the USP.
Is it the best handgun? Probably not, but it's my favorite.
Buying things you actually want is usually better than buying something that's /justasgood/ even if there's no justification for doing so on paper.
Some people are of the mindset that everything they own has to be the absolute pinnacle that they can buy like they’re a main character in a video game, while other people just buy what they think is cool and enjoy it while not caring that it isn’t as good as an AR or Gucci Glock.
if you aren't poor you just buy everything and then form opinions
>USP
First gun I ever bought, maybe 10 years ago. The dude at the gun store did some little speech about how it was developed for SOCOM or preferred by counterterrorist units or some shit like that while he racked the slide. Felt like a scene from a shitty action film, I was sold instantly. Never got memed into a firearm purchase harder than that but I still have that gun and it's pretty sweet.
who buys a gun essentially sight unseen without feeling it or testing it out at a range?
>spongebob trigger
okay
>useless safety
was this really that big of a deal? did you even notice/feel it while shooting or did it just aggravate your small hands while practice Muh DryFire TM in your apartment?
>shitty sights
have you used any other pistols made in the last 30 years? which have better sights?
>too big/heavy
go to the gym bitch boy
>Glocksucker tells you to buy a cope kit to replace every single factory part post #9,147,568,984
Skill issue
I didn't suggest replacing any parts fucking brainlet. What part did I suggest OP replace?
>sigger
please don't accidently bend over the wrong way with your safariland holster
You are trading features for a proven track record when it comes to a Glock and that's literally brought up in every single thread about glocks so don't so fucking shocked.
As far as being able to CC it, some people can and some people can't. If you wear a size medium shirt it's going to print. That's going to happen with literally any gun that isn't a tiny subcompact though so that's not a glock problem it's a you problem.
>useless saferty
It doesn't have a safety and that's part of the reason why it has a spongey trigger, so you don't blow your dick off with a featherweight trigger pull.
The only reason not to get a G19 as your first handgun is to get a G17 instead.
>glock
>too big and heavy for EDC
manlet hands typed this post
shit if you think the g19 grip is too big, thank god you didn't get a M9, those are way bigger
Not that anon but I've got a 92, m9a3, poormetto dagger and a g43
The glock is by far the biggest/unwieldiest grip
i have a toyota pickup and a dodge cummins, the dodge cummins 4x4 is definitely a smaller truck than the minitruck toyota from the 80s
Shooters with smaller hands may prefer the Glock 17 over the Beretta. The Beretta 92FS’s has a larger, wider grip making it necessary for some people to use two hands on the grip. Not always a problem, but it can be in the right (or wrong) situation.
The Glock has a much more comfortable grip for those with smaller hands or who want or need more maneuverability when using a single-hand grip.
Oh, see what I was trying to say is that because of it's blocky proportions the glock has the more uncomfortable grip, even if it is technically smaller than the retta
t. small hands (still use large gloves tho)
Shieeet I meant g45
I unironically have both as well, a 95 Toyota and an 05 dually flatbed, both in red
Tx22. Can't shoot straight even after 2 barrels. Just cheap and flimsy.
First barrel fuckin keyholes.
are you the same guy from the rimfire threads? sorry about your gun anon 🙁
Yes. I want to turn it into one of those police gun drives. $200 and I can sell all the accessories on the side.
Good idea?
how much did you pay for it? I can't imagine you'd get that much more than 200 trying to sell it online or to a gun store, might be a good idea
idk why people shill these here, just buy a ruger standard or mk4 or something
you can get a ruger standard used for like 200 dollars and they are a much nicer gun than a taurus will ever be
its like they went out of their way to use the thinnest plastic possible. I felt like I could crush the thing in my hands if I squeezed hard enough
glocks are great. most people get a smaller gun for summer but the glock is fine. triggers don't fucking matter adn the glock has a decent trigger with a great reset. The sights are meh but usable. It works good and my only complaint is the trigger guard is slightly too small. I personally get along better with full size glocks but there is nothing wrong with the G19 unless you care about retarded shit that guntubers tell you to care about. I don't even own one, but they are objectively pretty great if you actually shoot, and I always want to shoot them when someone brings one out.
>triggers don't fucking matter adn the glock has a decent trigger
You can swap out triggers on a glock in 10 minutes with nothing but a hammer, roll of duct tape, and a rusty nail. And you don't even need the hammer if you can find a rock.
Just buy a $100 metal trigger kit off of Amazon and you'll have a better trigger than the trash HK is calling "Match" these days
t. disappointed USP tactical owner
You’re disappointed because you spent $1,500+ on a LTT optic cut USP, either sell it or stop bitching and moaning, you’re bad with your money, either sell the gun and get it back or shut the fuck up.
I bought it as a suppressor host and I only paid $1300 for it so no, I don't think I will. I own half a dozen revolvers and the DA trigger on the HK is heavier and more uneven than all of them (granted they're all vintage Colts and S&Ws). Apparently these days "Match" trigger just means the physical trigger itself, springs are still stock. Also the reset travel is atrocious, you have to let it forwards nearly 3x the distance it takes to trip on SA. There are aftermarket parts to help with this, but my G19 with a Zev flat trigger feels like a microswitch in comparison
Why are you shooting only in DA on a DA/SA gun? Seem like you wasted your money still.
Did you not read the second half of my post where I was complaining about the SA reset? And what's the point of a DA/SA gun if you can't or shouldn't use the DA part?
I honestly have no problem with the factory gen 3 trigger, I'm really not a trigger snob, but is the zev really worth $250?
I only paid $115, just the basic gen 3 flat trigger kit
God damn you are a hostile, salty bitch.
That’s me
It’s a fun gun to hate on. So many kocksuckers come out of the woodwork
“The Glock has a decent trigger with a great reset” is one the most insane things I’ve ever seen posted on this board. Everything else there was all well and good but god damn you’re huffing some good shit if you think the stock Glock trigger is even an iota better than absolute dogshit at its very best. Glock 48, Dan Wesson Specialist, Sig P220 legion 10mm owner here btw.
>Spongebob trigger with useless safety, shitty sights, still too big/heavy for summer EDC.
All sounds like a skill issue
>getting memed into spending money
oh man I didn't even think this was a thing. What a fun thread.
OK I might as well ask here.
Glock 19 or CZ P-10 as the first handgun?
Glock19 because it's so common it's probably the easiest thing to find accessories for of literally any any handgun and it will serve as a good standard which you'll compare other guns to.
Glock isn't the only choice of course but it's also never the wrong choice.
If you are a twink you will have a harder time concealing it and if you're a dude with monster hands you will find it somewhat unconformable.
Personally, I find it to be a little small and I kinda wish I went with a G17 for my first gun but at the end of the day it's a conceal carry gun and it's easy (for me) to conceal carry and I'll never buy a Sigshit 365.
Buy the P-10 as your first handgun, as it is the better gun out of the box, and you will get more mileage out of the gun in its stock configuration compared to a stock glock. You also don't have the excuse of "oh it's bad because it's stock" that I see a bunch of fags who cant into trigger control say. Not that you're that type of guy, but its less bullshit you need to worry about as a new pistol shooter who is trying to focus on their fundamentals.
once you know what works with the gun and what doesn't work for you, then, and only then, you should go get the glock so you can customize it to your specific taste.
Used G19 with Timney trigger kit
I've shot those Timneys on Glocks and they're overrated shit. You'd have to be retarded to pay what they ask for it
Not PrepHole alone, but the Glock 20 thanks to the 10mm shilling. I guess i just needed an excuse to justify getting into handloading and getting a glock.
I asked AK General what 7.62 AK I should get. Some guys said WBP Jack with classic polish furniture. It is an excellent gun and may be my favorite gun I own, and I like it much more than my M4.
Excellent choice. I love my WBP Fox.
SKS, Ruger Precision Rifle, Beretta 92, Hi-Power.
Don't regret any of them.
Okay first off Glocks are great once you do 2 things: Put a Ghost Inc connector in it and change out the sights. If you don't want to do that and don't like the factory spec buy something else. If Glock just doesn't feel comfortable to your hand, buy something else.
Secondly, when people recommend Glock 19 as the best first gun, that is good advice if you understand that what is meant is, "Glock 19 or equivalent". This includes the compact version of the following:
>Hk vp9
>Walther ppq
>CZ p10
>S&W M&P
>FN 509
...among many others.
Don't blame PrepHole for your bad choice and lack of independent thought.
my 43's trigger is fine, so are the OEM night sights.
>Glocks are great once you change them!
Or maybe just buy a gun that doesn't require that. And yes, they do exist.
>They do exist
You didn't say who "they" are. Regardless, yes more expensive guns do exist, as do cheaper ones. I like Glocks because they are flat sided, relatively thin and comfy to carry while providing consistent reliability with lots of holster options. The point that you shouldn't have to make changes is made but I'm making the point you get an excellent gun at a good value if you make those 2 small changes. A ghost connector is like $20 and a huge upgrade to some models.
Yeah, I have a 43x and the trigger connector still made it better. It makes the break cleaner and makes tight groups easier.
PrepHole psyopped me into selling all my guns because I bought all the wrong ones.
This:
>And I love all you gays for it! Up 400% in 10 years
>tfw your 75$ type 56 can now be used as down payment for a new vehicle even under brandonomics
I bought a desert eagle because of CSGO.
I got mine because it was fun and the KACHONK it makes when hitting the slide release
AUG, Glock on both counts personally. Both are fine, AUG is a downgrade to my AR15s in almost every way besides the meme barrel system and gas system, Glocks just don't mesh with me and I've owned about a dozen different models at this point and the only ones I kept for an even remotely long time were the long slide bigger bore models. I went back to carrying a P30/VP9 and using a bog standard AR-15 with an ambi lower.
Moist nugget back when they were 99 Dollars a pop
I'm also ashamed: 78 replies and I'm the only one who mentions the Mosin Nagant. PrepHole has truly changed a lot
why would they regret it. I never bought one but the people I know who did knew it sucked but it was adequate for the price
Model 10 anon convinced me to buy a Model 10 by spamming links about the Model 10. Now I own a Model 10 and I like it very much. He was right about the prices being about to jump too, I'm glad I bought mine when I did.
Nothing, I bought a glock 19 despite what PrepHole said and I love it.
>too big/heavy for summer EDC
Skill issue
>What gun did PrepHole psyop you into buying?
Nothing, I will not listen to any of the dipshits here and I will laugh at every retard who does
I bought a cz rifle in 7.62x39.
It wont fire some kinds of brass cased ammo due to some headspace discrepancy.
7.62x 39 also woefully underpowered for big game hunting.
Seeing how stupid glock haters are makes me want one
Do it
Buy one
You wont
HK HK HK HK HK
Stay mad poor glockfags
Glock psyoping only works on NPCs.
Funny, I picked up a 19M (before going to an anime convention and buying other weebshit in pic rel) at the LGS and it felt really nice, had raised night sights, optics plates came with it so I could mount my spare eokek, and got the gen 5 performance trigger. This little mf is gonna be my carry for a long while since I have plenty of 17rd and 33rd mags to go with the three 15rd mags too.
The FNC. It's really a pretty meh rifle and I see why almost nobody else bought it aside from Belgium, Sweden, and Indonesia. Hell, those last two didn't even fully commit to the rifle.
I still like it and it's neat, but a large part of me wishes I got a tommy built SL8 conversion instead.
If it’s full auto it’s still one of the better full autos, if it’s not it’s still a cool niche collector’s item.
You also get to larp as De Niro in Heat.
K meme me into building my own ar-15 and it was the best gun purchase of my life
I feel compelled to get an SKS when the opportunity arises, but I already have an AK-47 (AMD 65).
I mostly get guns I'm interested in.
Oh no, you'll only be able to sell it for 95% of it's value on the used market, you'll be out nearly $10
lol i sold mine but still have a box of 40ish rounds hanging around somewhere
missed the boat on these should have gotten one when they were under $200
AR15
I bought a Mosin for $450 because I was here when they were cheap but I was underage then. I wanted a nugget. It’s actually not very accurate and uncomfortable to shoot, and not worth what I paid for it.
they were barely worth the 80 dollar price tag back in the day, they were never good guns, just a good entry point into the hobby
it's fucked up that people still hype retards into wasting money on them
The Sig M17. Not that specific model but p320s in general. Didn't even know about the handgun trials until after I bought it. Got it at the height of the 2020 riots and got it for an inflated price. No problems with it. Had to replace the grip because it didn't fill the hand as much as I wanted. In hindsight, I probably would have picked up a Beretta.
PrepHole and multiple people told me to not buy a tokarev and buy a glock.
Year later I've ordered a second Tokarev and spent 1700$ on ammo. I kinda want a rifle now but idk what, maybe an ak. Anyways tokarev is great if you like femdom and findom and masochism.
>Tok
?t=33
My contrarian streak makes me want all kinds of wacky shit but a G17 gen 3 and an Aero M4E1 are what made the most sense for price to quality ratio and aftermarket compatibility
Liking your basic shit doesn't mean you have to cope and hate on other cool stuff though
The Aug is a good gun, it’s just a meme gun because it looks so weird. Sorry you’re triggered by the fact some random anon can afford a first gun x4 more expensive than yours
>Spongebob trigger with useless safety, shitty sights, still too big/heavy for summer EDC.
>too big/heavy
eat a hamburger
I had a loaded G2 G17 bare appendix or versacarry apendix for like two months and still have all my balls
glonk sights were easy for me to acquire, and it was the easiest weapon to achieve natural point aiming while extending arm from draw, coming from S&W + Taurus sights.
If you hate it so much, give it to me.
>chat gpt ai anon with most generic gun ever is angry some other anon will have a fun gun as his first
Like pottery
I also fell for the 15rd 9mm meme. Now my pinky barely holds on unless i use the extended 17rd mags. Also full sized slides are the shit and are much more accurate than 4" gayness.
Not a gun but I almost got convinced to buy a C more sight because that one guy was posting it everywhere and I thought it looked cool. Then I did 3min of research and realized it was airsoft tier
>Used in competition for years
>Still used
>Somehow airsoft tier
You don’t deserve the best sight, I’m able to ring steel all day repeatedly with the C-more, my only grip is it’s a little long, but it’s been 6 years and I haven’t had to change the battery once.
I'm happy with my glock 17 gen4 now, but I had the same gripes as OP. So changed the connector spring and striker spring, as well as the trigger itself and the sights.
But most importantly I actually learned to hold and shoot it correctly, so all my gripes were basically skill issues. Granted, I was shooting target 'duty' pistols before, so SIG210's, 226's, CZ75's, 1911's, even an HKP7, so I was spoiled by excellent triggers.
Nothing, because no amount of shilling or fanboyism on this board has ever managed to convince me of whatever they're saying.
That and every LGS around me somehow never has whatever specific meme shit they talk about anyway (no, I will not shop online, dealing with the customer support pajeets who can't even speak basic English is shit), so even if I did fall for some optic or meme caliber I'd probably never even find them.
Now, the real question is how many guns I missed because I asked you guys about them. Too many times I saw a neat gun but thought "perhaps I should ask about this and do my due research first", and typically it's just gone by the time I can return. That's really my own fault though.
Staccato P
staccatos are the literal reddit gun where people make having a staccato a fucking identity
how the fuck did you get duped into buying one instead of any other 2011 on the market
>SpongeBob trigger
You just suck at shooting
>Shitty sights

>Too big/heavy for EDC
Buy a better belt and holster, since you didn't buy a meme handgun there's no shortage of holsters for you to choose from
