If only it were as easy as this brainlet thinks. However tolerance stacking with slightly out of spec parts will be common with the turknelli and no amount of benelli parts will fix it

Link? I'd like to know how many rounds he's put through it. I can buy one of those shotguns and change out the parks and put 1k through it too, it doesn't tell me anything about the gun in the long run.

if the Benelli parts are apparently better, why would I want a franken gun with turkshit floating around in it?

You kinda give yourself away as a noguns if you think 500 rounds is a lot. The average Benelli M4 can last like 40k rounds or more with no parts changes. Would this gun last that? Who knows. But I sincerely doubt it. If you want a shotgun you'll rarely use... Then sure buy one of those. But if you put serious amount of rounds downrange or want to trust your life to a semi-auto shotgun, I'd just get the Benelli. Don't underestimate how important quality control and quality of the metallurgy is.

        >think 500 rounds is a lot.

Hey OP, if the sales are down/not good it's for a good reason. Just tell them to make better quality guns. Sure the qc and quality parts cost but it would be better in the long term. Now turkshits have a bad reputation and only time and quality products can fix that. Quit grifting on PrepHole ffs

I meant the other good shotguns like the mossbergs, not the meme turkshitguns

The issue was never that they straight up can’t.
It’s the QC is non existent. So while you could get one that works no matter what you throw at it, you were far more likely to get one that shit the bed. If you want to play Turkish roulette, that’s fine. Just know that your odds aren’t great.

That's because your definition of good is different than others. It's relative. To you "good" is a gun that can make it to 500 to 1000 rounds. Meanwhile boomers back in the day had shotguns that could easily go 50k rounds and those shotguns are still kicking. And rather than hold modern manufacturers accountable to such a high degree or quality and longevity on the product, we've become a consumer race of bugmen where we will WILLINGLY spend money on a trashy shitty gun because we can't be bothered to save up a few more months or a year for something truly worth it due to Black personly instant gratification

In reality you won't shoot it much because you don't really shoot your guns much. I got the Benelli because I don't want to buy another gun or have to warranty something to a company that doesn't exist anymore.

Turkshit guns aren't shit because they're Turkish. Turkshit guns are shit because they're a collection of manufacturers with varying levels of quality that are imported and sold by resellers and licensers under new branding. So while this might be a fantastic shotgun now, in five years they might have switched manufacturers and it be complete shit.

So why do so many people use 500 rounds as the baseline for a reliable shotgun in torture and endurance tests?

If you don’t like the gun or the company that’s fine, but it’s annoying when a Beretta or Mossberg burns through 500 rounds and gets praised for it but a Turkish shotgun does the same thing and still gets called shit. Either 500 rounds means something or it doesn’t. Pick one.

TFB and the comment section under their shotgun burndown videos constantly praise the Maverick 88 for passing the 500 round test.

Why is 500 rounds an accomplishment there but not for the Panzer M4 in OP's video which did the exact same thing?

Are you implying that specific YouTube channel or the people who watch it are composed of knowledgeable gun owners? 99% of that channels content is promoting new guns on the market. Same thing with guys like Mr.GunsNGear, Sootch0, Hiwiener45, etc. they're not showing you how stuff works on a mechanical engineering level nor are they showing you how to be a good shooter. It's mostly consumerist content. companies have figured out they can make way more money selling you cheap crap rather than high quality but expensive items of substance because there will be less buyers lining up for the latter.

        >nobody is going to watch a 12 hour video filmed over 2 years of some guy putting 5k through a gun. at 500 rounds a month
so stop acting like you need to see that to judge whether a less expensive gun is good

However in this case Benelli M4s have been documented with tens and thousands of rounds without fail. Both in military testing, military use, and in private ownership like Battlefield Vegas rental guns where they keep track of how many rounds are put through a gun. See the difference there? If they grabbed 5 random turknellis and they all survived even just half of what a Benelli survived, I'd say for the price it's a great gun. But something that start falling apart at 1000 or less? No, I'd rather save my money.

passing 500 rounds without failing should be a given.
are you impressed when a car mangages to leave the parking lot before the wheels fall off?
the question is more why the frick is some of this shit failing before 500 round
a mav 88 making it 500 shots isnt impressive unless you are a moron. its expected by everyone who actually has standards. you have no standards.

        >it can't break 500 rounds
wrong: THAT example DIDNT break in 500 rounds. my turkshit rattled itself apart in about 300 with the stock coming loose with no way to retighten it without cutting a fricking hole in the butt pad to get at the bolt.
so I bought the Benelli M4 instead of getting another piece of Turkish landfill ballast.

Because it is shit and 2 shill reviews with handpicked samples from the dealer do not count. What counts is the sheer number of dead panzer arms shitsticks returned to gun stores.
