/po/ is criminally underrated.
I saved some of the files incase I lose power during hurricane season. >yes I will totally plug my printer into my generator for that dragon with the 35 page instruction booklet.

anyone else remember that time a bunch of trannies on discord spammed the papercraft and origami board because someone made a 1 letter typo in their raid links that got spammed out?

You should load up an ereader with your instruction booklets, they have very low power consumption.

I do remember that, iirc it killed some threads I'd been following for a long time.
Man I love the harmonica but I'm afraid to play it too much because it's bad for your lungs and mine are already fucked. Feels bad man. Maybe some day they'll invent a non-toxic reed plate material that still gives the same rich sound as brass
He thinks the earth is flat and the harmonica is bad for your lungs.
harmonica is good for your lungs (commonly suggested physical therapy when recovering from lung problems.)
but anon isn't wrong, some people are sensitive to skin contact with brass, it can also discolor your teeth and a few other things.
i have no idea why anon thinks brass is the only material they make harmonica combs out of though. you can get a harmonica made of anything.

you can buy plastic, stainless steel, chromed brass, silver, plastic, wood, and many many other kinds of combs and plates for harmonicas.
even if brass sounds the best to you and your skin is sensitive to it, it doesn't mean you can't practice on a different type and perform with a brass one.
I swear to god I found articles talking about lifelong players having higher chance of lung cancer because the combs giving off wear particles as they vibrate. This was about 15 years ago. But either I imagined it or google has scrubbed it. So I dunno what to say now.
You can just get a steel one, that's seydel's whole schtick. They're a bit stiffer and silvery sounding but brass is far from the only harp material.

It's not just that particular material though. They're all harmful if breathed. Brass is especially bad because it contains lead and the other ingredients also act as catalysts for bad reactions. But microplastics, steel, etc. are all also bad for lungs. However, in searching now I can't find any of those old articles. So maybe they were just bullshit that got taken down. I don't know. I swear I did read these claims at some point though, and I thought they sounded convincing. But it's good news anyway if they were wrong. I have a suzuki that I would start playing again

I can see it happening in trace amounts but you have to be a jason ricci or howard levy for that to happen. tbh you inhale more metals by being near cars, a harmonica is a non-issue compared to that.

>microplastics
you're probably producing less microplastics pollution buying an ABS harmonica comb than you are buying a case of water bottles.
why can't you just buy an ABS plastic comb? You can just wash off the manufacturing dust if you're worried about microplastics.
Yeah I think I'm gonna stop worrying so much about it. I miss my suzuki. Got the holder for it and everything. I'm trying to pull off my best Bob Dylan impression but with a ukulele for portability.

I've never been PrepHole and had enough time on my hands to need stimulation, other than the need to just chill the fuck PrepHole for a minute and finally relax, before the next thing that needs doing needs done, or some bugs come along and start annoying me.
Rainy days under the tarp are different, but there is beauty in doing nothing under the tarp all day.
Read, sing/harmonica, write your thoughts ideas down, piss as high and as far as you can, just sit and think. Podcasts are good. Enjoy solitude and peace.
I don't go PrepHole to be constantly stimulated, I can do that in my house.
zoomies so afraid of not having constant stimulation
what about people with adhd

Could read a book. Journal. Sling some rocks. Build or topple cairns (doesn't matter which).
This made me think of hackey sacking when I was younger lol...
Learn to draw or paint landscapes

drawing in a notepad
plinking with air rifle / 22lr / slingshot
whittling stuff from wood
looking at flora/fauna

boredom takes a week or two to set in, it doesn't happen on short trips if you're not one of those people who lives their life glued to a screen.
True that, If I had more than a week I'd need entertainment but I'm never staying still for that long while PrepHole

Knitting.
Making your own gear is a great time to pass some time.
Also, if you can knit a merino hat, its going to be a high quality item.
LOL, LRN2CODE
if you're not hustling you're falling behind
take up gay cruising as a hobby
Stargazing
Relax the mind and observe nature, it will help with your adhd before curing it.
