no he didnt. They have an intensive care unit there and it is where he was moved to.
Apparently if prisoners get to go there, they will die fairly soon, but its been almost a year now.

Guess we wont ever get that final book he was teasing.

I think he would despise the attention but deep down feel proud for being genuinely admired.

"On December 14, 2021, 79-year-old Kaczynski was transferred from the supermax prison in Florence, Colorado, to the Federal Medical Center, Butner, North Carolina, for health reasons. Prison staff have not disclosed the precise reason for this transfer. However, in correspondence with a pen pal, Kaczynski indicated he was suffering from terminal cancer."

      >Dr Kaczynski claims that any industrial society must inherently suppress human freedom and self-esteem, cannot be corrected by any means, and will continually worsen.

      >Just click the link. It's still too long for a post.

For people that "don't wanna click that shit" the new edition of Technological Slavery has ISAF in full and Uncle Ted cleared up any errors and what not.

Nice! Sadly, the 2022 is not on library genesis yet. I should pick up a paper edition.

Why do glowies and feds keep trying to go after those who want to be left alone in the middle of bumfrick nowhere? It just seems counter productive to keep trying to keep everyone in the bustling cities despite the "environmental destruction it causes."

Yeah, writings alone, I understand where he is coming from to a point, none of us on this board what the natural world to die but I feel like he missed the mark with alot of things as these people tend to do.

What do you think he got wrong? I'm sure there was more ways he could have gotten people to listen than to kill innocents but his base thought process did work.

Were there though? This was pre internet, the system would not give a second of the day to a guy, albeit unequivocally smart, advocating for the system to collapse and wanting people to actively work against it.
Sure he could get his work independently printed and become known to a couple hardcore underground movements but he deemed the system such a treath, not surprising considering what he had been through, that he was willing to go all in.
All these years later I think even the most fervent technophile can agree that there's merit to his writings.

I suppose I was more arguing what you or the anon meant by "he missed the mark". I do agree with you that he had many reasons to be angry with the world, and feeling like he had no way to get people to pay attention.
